Just received the dress today. I am usually size 10 with dresses but I ordered a bigger size (12), but the dress still small for the size. The quality is very poor, the sewing was so bad, did not look what it shows in the picture. Also I didn't get a respond with my email. Will not be buying from this website again.

BEYOND BAD
Dress didn't fit, badly made, wrong colour and 30 emails later they will only offer 14% refund for a £200 dress that is no use. DO NOT get caught out like I did. Their Webb site says they will do a full refund but they are liars and fraudulent. Thy are also based in China so it's very difficult to do anything about

Rip off company made a prom dress that bad my daughter could not get it past her bum she is a size 6/8 complained was offered 3% of the value back which was 124.00 pounds complained further offered 12% of the value dress is unwearable this company needs to be shut down they are a total rip off fighting to still get my refund 😖😖😖😖😖😖👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

If I could rate a negative score, I would. Normally, I research companies very well - stupidly, I did not research Shillas, and I have more than learnt my lesson. I was receiving great pressure from my maid of honour to get her a dress and so stupidly caved in and actually ordered 4 dresses - at a total of £346 - from Shillas.

I placed my order but did not receive an acknowledgement from them for over 48 hours, by which time they had already taken the money. The acknowledgement showed the wrong dresses - definitely not what I had chosen - so I emailed them immediately, giving them exact details of what I had ordered. 2 days later, I get a response (from good old Linda) saying "yes, you ordered 4 dresses". I then sent emails every day for over a week, trying to get some confirmation from them that they had corrected my order - if I got a response at all, it was always just "yes, you ordered 4 dresses".

I eventually told them I wanted to cancel the order - they told me I would get a maximum of 30% refund only as you can only cancel within first 24 hours.

I have battled and battled with them - many emails, many questions - but they ignore everything . . . literally ignore you, will not respond to any questions.

So I have agreed to continue with the order and will try to sell the dresses on Ebay as I already know there is no point trusting them to give me my money back if I send the dresses back to them.

I really hope this review can save someone the nightmare of dealing with this company.

Have been trying to return and refund a dress for the past 3 weeks. Keep getting asked to send pictures of the dress and the dress being worn!

Have told them its not part of their return policy but they just keep ignoring this and asking for the pictures.

Will talk to trading standards to find out if there is a way to get a refund or at least stop this company from trading in the UK.

BEWARE - SCAMMERS!

These thieves took my money for a custom dress but what I received was a joke! Loose on the bust and waist, tight on the thighs and arms, with a nude zip clearly visible down the bottom of a black dress! Too long and with a train I did not request. They asked me to send pictures of the issues, agreed with the problems and offered a remake - if I pay 70% material fees! Or a refund of 8%! 8%?!

It states on their site that if it is their mistake they will remake it (at their own cost) or refund it.

Total scammers.

And don't be fooled by the UK address like I was because they are based in China.

Now I have no money and no prom dress for my daughter. Thanks a lot Shillas!

Do not deal with this company.
This is not a UK company - do not waste your time or money !
My daughter ordered her prom dress , which took way longer than advised to arrive and when it did the colour was completely wrong .
They admitted the colour was wrong but will not comply with consumer rights.
Their terms show if you are not happy we can will refund or exchange - oh no !
After weeks of arguing they will not offer a return address and offered 8%, 10%,12% and finally 20% ! Still waiting for that refund !

This organisation (and many similarly named aliases) is not UK based and does not come under UK trading laws. It is extremely hard to deal with them and either their English is very poor or they purposefully ignore reason and fairness.

The quality of their goods is very questionable. Be extra weary of anything that has a zip as it is very very low quality and will likely break.

I have tried through over 20 emails to get a refund but they will not give me one. I just did not like the real colour, material and zip quality so never put it on yet they will not deal with me until I show them a photo with me wearing the dress. I am not going to give them that I just wanted a refund but I know I will never get my money back. The reason for the dress came and went with no resolution or wearable dress so be very very weary of them. My recommendation is to stay very clear of them as they do not seem to play by reasonable business rules.

I ordered an outfit for my daughters wedding from these people in the photo it was a lovely dusky pink dress and coat what arrived bore no resemblance to the outfit shown its as hideous, sugar pink and shiny it looked more like a nightdress and dressing gown .I have been trying for a week to get information on how to return this monstrosity for a refund . All I am getting is the run around on email saying that this what i ordered when it clearly is not ,It clearly states on their site that items can be return but they wont say how or to where . In feel these people are far from honest and have no intention of refunding the money DON'T USE THIS FIRM .

I have fighting for nearly a week is to return my item. They insist on a photograph. The item is not suitable and I wish to return, a photo would not help this. Linda, is refusing to supply details of how to return or obtain a refund. I have quoted the returns policy. But to no avail. Extremely poor customer service. Do not purchase.from this company .

Dress arrived fairly quickly but didnt really look like the one on line, supposed to be made to measure but didnt fit, ask to return it accepted I would have to endure some costs as made to measure they offered me 8% of cost I refused eventually negotiated it that they would reimburse me 45% of costs which I was happy to accept that was at the beginning of January I am now still waiting for my refund that they promised would be with me soon (they now ignore all my communication) we are now mid February. So I have put a complaint into my credit card company - this is not a UK based company despite the UK domain name on website its Chinese so only way to communicate is via email assuming they respond!

The dress I ordered was completely different to the picture, I asked for a refund several weeks ago nothing processed, ive had to contact my bank to get this refunded as this company is a scam!! please avoid

This company using photos from legit companies and then the dresses are made in China with horrible cheap material
Although they call themselves Shillas UK this is not a UK company you will notice on their site that there is no address to return faulty items which means credit company are extremely reluctant to step in. Thi is the worst company I've ever ordered from.

The dress looks cheap and not at all like on the picture. The material is a very cheap one, and a lot of details are different.
Measurements were not good, even though we got it custom made. It is 10 cm too long, and the sleeves are too short, so it looks like a tank top rather than a t-shirt.

I am definitely sad how it turned out and very sad about my big day.

Biggest crux: their reviews on their website are fake. I tried to leave a review several times on their website, and it got sent for "moderation"!!

They're dishonest, rude, unprofessional and WILL NEVER accept a return even if they have made a mistake with the order. You'll never see your money again and will be treated appallingly.

Do not use this company!! The website promises a refund but it does not honour its promise. I decided to order a standard size 10 so it would be easier to return as no alterations had been made. However I am experiencing immense difficultly trying to get a refund. They also offered me 8% of my £140 payment, which I replied was an insult. I wish I had checked out the reviews first. I have no choice but to accept that I have a dress that I don't want and have lost my money.

I bought a dress hoping it will be good, I got the dress, wrong size, nothing fits, company offered to make me a new dress, when I went back to them for the offer, they requested that I pay for it

ow i cant express enough my REGRET about the order from this website!!!!!!!! first time in my life i decided to order a dress for 117£ from online shop and as result recieved an awful looking cheap fake dress which didnt fit at all in any place! was too long, materials are cheap and look tacky, just everything is so awful, i can not even redo this dress the only way is to throw in a bin! so much regret, I regret i never googled reviews on this website, was to naive. i even tried to report on them to internet fraud report center and waiting on response what they can do to these thieves. Just know that everything they write on website is a complete LIE, they promise to refund money if you go to tailor the dress- THEY WOULDNT! they promise to refund full cost if you dont like the dress - THEY WOULDNT! do not get caught on the same rod as me girls....

fooled by the co.uk address when in fact they are based in Hong Kong. Dress does not fit and nothing like the website pictures. They will not offer me a full refund either.

This is a fraudulent website, they use beautiful images of costumes that are made, its false the costume they sent me resembled nothing as advertised and was not fit for purpose, would not wear it around the house let alone for my daughters wedding, tried to return the tat but they are not forthcoming with returns they have only offered to refund 8% of my £135 dress and jacket. They are based in Hong Kong and there service department is someone called Linda, sure she is not British by the emails sent me. Please do not go through what I'm going through at the moment I'm hoping my Credit Card Supplier will get me my refund.
