Awful company

Awful company. Do not order through them!! I wish I had read reviews. Wore shoes once, and they looked awful by end of day - bearing in mind I work in an office. Tried to send back, and it would cost me £70 to return, as they are in Denmark. Got intouch with their customer service, and they literally refused to help. Stay away, and stick with an actual company based in the U.K.!!

Unacceptable and shameful service

Unacceptable and shameful service. I ordered sandals on 7 September and I'm still awaiting delivery 17 days later. They are stuck somewhere in the Parcelforce system but no help from Shoe The Bear, despite 4 emails, and two attempts to phone Denmark, no-one picks up the phone, and no-one replies. I will never use this company again.

Black Chelsea boots

Ordered my boots they were half price in sale after ordering I read some of the reviews which weren't great well my boots took 4 days to arrive absolutely live them quality is very good they are a perfect fit and will most definitely be ordering more .well done shoe the bear .

Awful experience

The boots took a long time to arrive. They weren’t suitable and I had to pay £20 to return them. I never received a refund and tracking showed they were at Copenhagen customs. 6 weeks later and the boots have been returned to me! It’s cost me £100 and I have boots I can’t wear. I won’t be purchasing from shoe the bear again. Customer service is passive aggressive at best.

So I have several pairs of shoe the…

So I have several pairs of shoe the bear footwear in size 4. I ordered the iona boots black/khaki in size 4 I got one on my foot but the other no. So I have returned them today at the post office costing £18.25!!!! For a signed return. On boots costing £78.00. I await now to see if I get my refund??? I was 99% sure they would fit. If in doubt do not order or be prepared for paying delivery back to the return address in DENMARK ONLY AT £18.25

Rikkoo kuluttajansuojalakia

Tilasin loaferit. Sain parin, joka oli eri kokoa, 36 ja 37. Yritin palauttaa loaferit. Asiakaspalvelun mukaan minun olisi pitänyt maksaa itse palautus. Laatikko, jossa kengät tulivat, on niin iso että postitus maksaa n. 10 euroa. Piti vedota EU kuluttajansuojalakiin ennen kuin suostuivat hyvittämään maksun, syyttivät inhimillistä virhettä varastolla ja/ tai tehdasta. Ymmärtääkseni kukaan näistä ei aja itse brändiä rikkomaan kuluttajansuojalakia. En tilaa enää toiste.

Update: just to clarify the first review in Finnish - STB sent me a mismatched pair of loafers, sizes 36 and 37. When I tried to return these, customer service claimed I need to pay for the postage and I had to remind them of EU customer legislation for them to agree to refund the price of return. The box was so big it ended up costing over 22 euros... the customer rep blamed warehouse workers, then the factory. I really don't care where the mistake happened, I just want my money back. They agreed to reimburse me for the postage and shoes, we'll see if this happens...

Avoid like the plague!

Avoid, soles fall off after a month or so and they won’t help you!!!!

Bought from third party Stitch fix for £165 who you now cannot contact for refund.

Contacted Shoe the bear to be told unless bough direct from them your screwed basically

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I have read though all the reviews and can see a trend that there seems to be a manufacturing fault on the soles of there boots/shoes

Shoe the bear need to take direct responsibility for this not the third party retailers

I will be asking the uk regulatory bodies to investigate and contacting other members who’ve had the same problem for investigation

Ripping off the general public for a manufacturing fault they need to take responsibility for is not on.

Beware any returns from countries other than Denmark are costly and have to go to that country

Great products, with good price and delivery time

I have ordered a pair of boots, which arrived within 2-3 days (within EU). The shoes are of great quality leather and are very comfortable to wear.
Once note to mention: if you are between two sizes, I'd recommend sizing up - that way you can avoid ordering twice :)
Will definitely purchase more from them.

WORST quality , do NOT buy Shoe The Bear!

Did not even get 5 minutes with these shoes, (sued leather Shoe the Bear Stb-Saga Zip S), I have never had a shoe so poor in quality and for this price too!. Surprised that Miinto would sell this brand. The sued leather started to loosen from the shoe after a 2 minute walk! DO NOT BUY. Had Zara and H&M shoes for years and when they become top quality compared to these.....

Low quality

I bought Selena strap sandals and the colour started coming off on the first wear. These shoes were 80 euros. The price, unfortunately, doesn't match the quality. The good thing is that they are soft but somehow hard to walk in. I'm so disappointed, they looked so nice.

Lovely shoes but the sizing didn’t work…

Lovely shoes but the sizing didn’t work for me, however, DO NOT buy from UK! The returns policy is a nightmare, the return service is with Royal Mail (no choice) you would have thought you could trust Royal Mail but let’s not forget there’s currently a Royal Mail scandal going to court. I paid £14 to return and the parcel has apparently gone missing. Shoe The Bear refuse to refund me and it’s up to me to start a claim with Royal Mail. So to try on a pair of their shoes has cost me £133!!!!!! Appalling - avoid at all costs. Update - I received a refund about 6 weeks after returning.

Expensive returns to a foreign country NOT UK

Beautiful boots which sadly don't fit but returns are to Denmark. The website is a .Co.uk so you would presume returns would be to the UK. I now have to pay for insured return to Denmark at considerable expense. Sorry but it's disingenuous to have a UK website and returns to another country. Big thumbs down from me.

No reply from customer service

Same customer service experience as others. Didn't receive my boots. Something happened to them in route. That doesn't count as bad customer service. What does is that I've sent three emails about the issue during the past week and have received no reply. Very disappointed.
