I paid for an item that I never received my order. They blame the carrier who is absolutely not cooperative.
Result, I paid 150 dollars for an item that I never received and no help was given to me.
I'm really angry with this site, they clearly lack professionalism

Return is a pain, and no recognition at all. 400 USD fedex, 400 USD UPS and 61 USD in USPS with tracking no insurance and dresses are between 200-2000 USD. So not at all fair and at risk if you return. In addition all that sacrifice for a dress that has cheap finishing and is made in china( not even because is chineses, but chineses not best quality, I am an international buyer and there is chineses quality A for any goods manufactured there. So not worth it, better go to revolve more option easy return.

It would cost me $325 to return a $380 dress from the US (Florida). I was advised not to use USPS as apparently the tracking number will stop working when the package leaves the county?

Tried to contact Shona Joy and have not heard back on a resolution. Clearly they are in the business of stealing peoples’ money and know they can get away with it with their horrendous return policies.

Oh, and not to mention, they ship their garments in the most pathetic packaging. You would think if someone is spending that kind of money on a garment, it would be packaged beautifully.

Terrible returns policy and 0 customer support

Ordered to Europe; order arrived quickly - but the size is not suitable. Now struggling to return back - it's impossible to login to the website or lodge a return. Would avoid buying from them in future, sounds like a scam.

Absolutely appalling "customer service". AVOID at all costs. I returned a top (that I hadn't even worn because I no longer needed it), paid 40 EUR to post the return, and Shona Joy are demanding that I pay a 30 USD dry cleaning fee because I apparently "stained" the top. I hadn't even tried it on - It went straight back in the shipping bag. So this is simply not true.
They refused to take my word. I ended up giving up and accepting the dry cleaning fee so I could at least get some of my money back.
In reading the other comments it looks like I'm not the only one that this has happened to.
I will NOT be ordering from here again. Total scam.

Wow. I read the reviews and heard it was expensive to return the items but didn't realize it would be $200 from the US. $200 down the drain. So depressing. No words.
EDIT: I need to stay honest so updating, if you return at USPS it was only $80, versus $200 (FedEx and UPS quoted $200). Still not great but I did know what I was getting into. I mailed the return on the 16th and I just received the full refund now so not too bad. Also, their customer service responds quickly. Editing my rating to reflect that.

I am a client for years for this brand and have always bought items online. Nowadays I think it’s not a good idea to buy from this brand anymore especially if you are disappointed with the quality of the item or if the item arrives damaged. In addition to the disappointment you will bare the cost of the return of the item and would only contribute to build up your frustration. Today I have received my final item with what seems to be a big “oil” stain with sth in the center that I can’t qualify. I am not returning this item because it would cost me as much as the item to ship it back. This is not the first time I return items of cheap quality but was hopeful that things would go back to what they used to as I totally loved this brand. I will simply never buy from this brand again.

Don’t buy from the website. The cost to return is just as much as the item itself aka $200 bucks. What a waste!

Don’t order anything from this website if you live in the US. Impossible return policy and the cost to return can be 1/2 to the full price of what you order

I’ll actually give it a 2 stars because I didn’t have a horrible experience with the customer service. They agreed to “honour” my request to have the dress returned at their cost.
This was a Wish story case: “THIS is what I ordered… And THIS is what I got”. Horrible craftsmanship, crooked seams, bunching seams, poor fabric quality. Details were questionable. Designed in Australia, for sure made in China. Absolutely baffled. Especially when you see the price they’re selling their dresses for. NOT WORTH the headache. I also have to submit a request to Canada customs to have the duties and taxes reimbursed. I wish we could add pictures. They’d show for themselves. Beyond disappointed but again, my customer service experience is not terrible (might post an update when I get my refund. See if anything comes up like finding what toy you get in a kinder surprise).

The fabric quality is very bad, the dresses don't look like the website pictures at all. Also, customer service is terrible, with many hidden fees/ costs that they never disclose, including having to pay full international shipping for returning an item.

Horrible online returns policy not flexibility at all. Will never purchase from there again. Bought a skirt which was not true to size sent it back to return but was only offered a credit note and charged dry cleaning fee. Would not recommend the brand to anyone not a great brand experience at all. Quality of the clothing is also not worth the price.

Whilst the dress was beautiful, don't expect to be able to wear more than once. I ordered the 'LA LUNE BIAS COWL MIDI DRESS - TERRACOTTA' for a wedding I was bridesmaid in. I followed the care instructions, carefully hand washing the dress in cold water with very mild soap. I knew it was a risk washing it but figured if I followed the instructions it would be fine. Upon the dress drying, piling began to form and the shine is completely gone from the material.
I understand that there is a risk this may happen, but if so the instructions should state dry clean only not that you can hand wash this dress. Beware that washing the dress will ruin it.

I am beyond upset and frustated in the quality of this dress, with an expensive price tag you expect good quality and to be able to wear the dress more than once. I reached out to their customer service and was relayed the wash instructions. I let them know twice that I followed exaclty what they stated and how upset I was that this had happened and then they chose to not respond for weeks. I followed up again and the least they could do was provide me a 10% discount code.

Beware that you may aswell buy the cheaper knock off dresses rather than the real deal as atleast if they dont last long you aren't wasting as much money as this!

Judging by other reviews and what I have seen in bridal groups across facebook, this is a very common occurance which they arent willing to rectify in their care instructions. Really upset at the lack of care and the major acting of entitlement from this company.

Shona Joy forest dresses are beautiful. However this is the third time I tried to order bridesmaids dresses. At all occasions I had to pay for my own return shipping and could not get a refund only a credit note. I think it’s pretty ridiculous that a brand that only sells online does not allow you to try the dresses on at home and return (for free) if they don’t fit or at least exchange the colour or size (like any decent company). This has made it difficult to find good dresses. The size restocks also did not happen when customer service said they would. The colour of the dresses in Shona pictures are not representative at all and both the sage and olive have a more silver undertone. Forest is much closer to the sage/eucalyptus colour theme I was going for. I am happy with the final result, but the girls have had to make lots of concessions not getting their style of choice due to limited size availability. At a steep price this is something to think about when ordering. Nevertheless, we now have gorgeous dresses. Price is too high for the quality.

I've been shopping at Shona Joy for about 2 years now, and I have loved everything I bought. I probably have 15 pieces from them already - 95% of them are suits. I love the quality and style of their pieces, but the issue is the sizing. Their size runs way too big. My usual size is US 0 or 2, and their US 2 is more like US 4 or even 6. I always had to have the clothes altered so they'd fit me. Apart from it, it's such a beautiful brand.

Terrible odour on new dress that was unworn

Ordered a dress recently, didn't fit. the sizing was incredibly off and not even close to True to Size. Returned it and they tried to claim that I had worn it , it was literally taken out of the bag for 10 minutes!!!! like obviously I tried it on?? and now I'm stuck with this $450 dress that doesn't fit. The material is shocking and not worth the money at all

Way, way overpriced for the quality of dresses. Fabric is starting to come apart on wear one of the dress even though I spent the day just standing.
Really surprised by how poor the quality is, expected way better
