Worst company I have ever delt with…

Worst company I have ever delt with online!! DO NOT USE!! I order a new pair of climbing shoes and as we all know sizing can be an issue and it was for me, the shoes arrived and they were too small so I had to send them back. No issue with the fact you have to send them back to France the issues came shortly after. I sent the shoes tracked signed for and after looking they seemed to of stopped for a few days when they reached France so I thought I would just email Epit TV to get any advice and I was basically told that it’s my issue and my fault if they’ve got lost with no offer of any help, I didn’t ask for a refund or anything just advice. So I waited a few days and eventually the shoes arrived at its location on a Thursday morning (epic tv on there website state that exchanges will be sent out the same day as received) I left it a day to check my account which still said “waiting for product” they had now had my shoes for over a day so I emailed to ask when could expect my shoes to be sent out and once again I was sent a blunt unhelpful reply which said “returns will be processed as soon as possible” contradicting there own returns policy. So again I left it over the weekend and checked Monday and it still said waiting for products which I knew not to be the case, I emailed and was told they haven’t had my shoes!! So they had my money and I know my shoes and by other people’s reviews not for the first time of happening. At this point I asked for a refund as there customer service was unacceptable! I was asked to send my proof of postage which I did and they got no reply. Only when I emailed threatening legal action they sent me a refund and now my account says partially received. I will never use this company again and I recommend no one else too either. Poor customer service! Poor customer care! Obviously trying to gain any money where possible. Absolute disgrace!!

I just bought shoes that did not fit…

I just bought shoes that did not fit and trying to exchange. I kept packaging the same and sent it back however after spending $45 to sent back to France, package is being refused. When trying to speak with customer service representatives, they only gave vague replies.

I went through a courier service to have to parcel delivered and even gave the representatives the parcel delivery number which I could easily track online through laposte.fr however they continue to state that they can't do that and that they never received the package. I have kept all proof that laposte courier tried to deliver the package.

I should have saved my money and bought it from a local store or site; it would have been cheaper and get proper fitted shoes. Don't do not recommend to buy from this site. If you do, use caution. Make sure you know your size because returns will be costly and you are not guaranteed to get an exchange or return of your money even if you never worn the shoe for climbing.

climbing shoes

I was looking for climbing shoes. There is big variety and all sizes available. Very useful is the wizard for the correct shoe size. Good prices also.

Very bad..

Very bad... Ordered shoes on the first of June. They arrived today (11th). Shipping to the Netherlands was supposed to take 3 days. In the meantime emailed Epictv shop twice and got very unsatisfying responses, twice. When the shoes finally arrived the rubber soles were coming off so I had to send then back. However the website said I couldn’t. After sending another message all off a sudden it was okay. However when I arrived at the postal office I had to pay for the return shipment. Something that is an absolute no-go where i’m from.
Epictv shop sells a lot of great products, unfortunately I will never order anything with then again due to the poor customer service.

Return/Exchange Process
To return or exchange an item, you must send the product back to us within 30 calendar days of the date it was received by you. All returned items must be in a suitable condition so as to be resold as new. The product must show no signs of use, and all original packing must be undamaged and unaltered. We recommend using additional packaging to ensure the item is not damaged during transport. If the product and its packaging are not returned in a suitable condition, we reserve the right to refuse the return. We will ship the new item the same day we receive the return. In the event that the requested size is not available, we will proceed to the refund. You are responsible for the cost of all returns and exchanges unless restricted by mandatory consumer law (e.g. if you have received the wrong product).

Expensive returns to France...

If you have an issue, say your shoes bought are too tight, you will find returns need to be sent to France at three times the cost of a UK return.
Even though they clearly list a Bristol address on their website.

Just be aware because buying clothes and shoes online can be tricky.

Edit: This company claimed no knowledge of my purchase and had this review removed.
Thankfully Trustpilot contacted me for more details and reinstated my honest review.

I had a great experience with the rope…

I had a great experience with the rope I bought from Epic TV.
Actually for some reason there was a problem with the delivery but Epic TV promptly send a replacement. They were always really nice and quick answering my emails.
Recommended!

Good shop

No big issue, received what I ordered, the price was good. Would give a 5 star, but our local distributer is one of the worst on the planet but at the end they managed to deliver the package :)

Not that they DONT offer returns

Not that they DONT offer returns! I have ordered a helmet and a harness which both are too small. Not problem I thought, but yes bit problem! They dont take returns!!
What a shame, used to be my go to climbing shop!

Personal protective equipment includes snow and climbing gear such as slings, ropes, harnesses, carabiners, awnings, helmets, descenders, blockers, cleats, pulleys, belts, ice screws, camming devices, quickdraws and anything else designed to be used for personal protection or protection from falls.

Shipped me 2 faulty climbing products, and refused to replace, stopped responding to emails, and then tried to get this review deleted

I bought 5 climbing products and 2 were faulty!

It has been an uphill struggle to get EpicTV to get them replaced. I had to contact the manufacturers who, without hesitation, confirmed that this is a problem. Even with that evidence in hand, EpicTV are making life difficult.

Out of all things, I didn’t expect this with pricey climbing equipment...

I’ll keep this review posted on any updates. I’d seriously avoid EpicTV. There’s many better alternatives in UK and Germany.

(Also, the shipping to the UK took 3x as long as promised.)

UPDATE: What a strange reply from EpicTV below. First they tried to get my verified review removed by saying it’s fake. Once I proved it’s real, they are now pretending they don’t know anything. I have extensive emails back-and-forth where they refuse to put things right. Instead, I got in touch with the manufacturers themselves and had the problems resolved (but this took several months). Downgraded to a 1-star now.

UPDATE 2: They responded again below this review. Not sure what they're talking about. They don’t reply to emails, but like to be active here and try to remove reviews.

RATING: Very Risky Business
