Yesterday I visited Guildford Harley Davidson. As always, the staff were professional, thoughtful and good fun. I just felt it was about time recognition was given, as they have looked after the bike I bought from them, and they have maintained it for years now. Many thanks.

Bike was in for a service and…

Bike was in for a service and investigation of tyre issue from another dealer, service was done greatly and the tyre was swapped without notification but after speaking to them we came to a resolution which was more then generous, highly recommended and great service.

Dreadful

Have been using Guildford Harley-Davidson for a long time now and I'm sorry to say it has seen a significant drop in customer service over the last few weeks.

I used to get all my parts from a young chap on the parts desk who always had time to answer any questions I had, he was extremely knowledgeable, welcoming and you could tell had a real love for the brand

Unfortunately after phone conversation and a recent visit where I dealt with a young lady called Holly on both occasions I shall not be coming back to Guildford Harley. Firstly she seemed rather annoyed that I had disturbed her from staring at her mobile phone and sadly it became quickly apparent that Holly doesn't actually appear too know anything about Harleys. I asked her about having a stage 2 kit fitted to my bike and some other custom work undertaken. She could neither explain what was involved in a stage 2 and had to go and ask a technician and then when I asked about the other work namely front and rear suspension upgrades again I was met with a blank look before being showed images of some ohlins without any sort of explanation of how they are better or how they work with the various settings.

Now I'm not a fool and have looked into these things myself briefly before coming down to the dealership so have some understanding. What I didn't expect was someone to be working there representing the brand that quite honestly doesn't have a clue and is rude

Speaking to a couple of friends that also used the dealership regularly they both confirmed my experience. So sadly it was not a one off as I had hoped

Given how many Harley dealerships have closed over the last couple of years you would think the remaining ones would want to do everything possible to stay open but I dont have much hope for Guildford when they have staff like this working there, effectively turning money away

The best

Went to service my 04 sportster had a few tech problems so was given a loan bike organised by the lovely Katie on service reception, rang me 2 days later to say bike was ready but weather was foul, no problem for this great team we checked forecast together and it will be 5 days till next sunny day, still no problem, what a fantastic experience, so kind and understanding and am very thankful, TOP TEAM 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great service and team work

Great service from Patrick in the sales team, helpful and very knowledgeable and understanding. The whole purchase process was explained and was a breeze. Lack of adequate communication.

I listed 4 new genuine Rolls-Royce parts on ebay for £4. They were sold and I was instructed to post to Guildford Harley Davison by a Lord Robert who, at the time, I took to be possibly the owner. Soon after they were delivered to the firm, I noticed that I had been given a Negative Feedback. I did get two phone calls from their office from “ Robert “ and it became clear that he had not read the description properly. He agreed to liaise with Ebay to remove the feedback but never did. I only delivered to Guildford Harley Davidson promptly because I knew of the firm. I subsequently spoke to their Mr. Presley who said he would speak to the staff member about it.

Amazing service- again!

Bought my Harley from GHD, and just had the 2nd service with them today.

Yet again, the experience, professionalism and amazing service is fantastic. It's the best retail experience I've ever had. It's such a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone behaves in a way that makes you feel like you're their best top customer.
If only other retail businesses could follow this approach by GHD.

Of course. Technically they are thorough - you get 100% confidence that your prized possession has had the best possible attention.
