Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 94 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently found the online ordering process difficult and confusing, encountering errors or needing to navigate poorly designed and often non-functional website pages. Many also reported significant issues with customer service, describing it as unhelpful, slow, and challenging to reach a real person for support. These problems often led to stress and delays, with some running out of vital medication or having prescriptions paused. Many reviewers, especially those transferred from other pharmacies, noted a significant service decline and product issues like incorrect, near-expiry, or damaged items.

Awful

I have been forced onto Pharmacy 2 U due to the take over of Lloyds. My experience with Lloyds was amazing, the app was so user friendly and they reminded you to order medication in good time, everything was easy and clear. Now it is an absolute nightmare, both the app and the website are clumsy and not user friendly at all. My elderly parents are despairing about their experience of Pharmacy 2 U. It is impossible to use for elderly people to use. We are now looking for an alternative as this is no good for people on multiple medication. 5 members of my family have been forced on to it and we are all desperate to get out!

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. Took money for a prescription that I never made and i did not auth any payment to be taken. Tried to call to get prescription free refunded, was told it would be refunded in 3days. This never happened. I called again i was told the refund was done and error was with my bank. This is not the case and I have received no refund, so I have cancelled (if the managed to do that without messing it up) my account and given up on my refund.

shocking service

shocking service, or rather non-service. Placed my first order first week of February, waited in vain, placed another order, still nothing. It's now the 28. February, I have had several reminders to order, but it's obviously futile. My medication ran out some time ago; worst thing I ever did - it will be back to paper prescriptions for me.

Just adding to all the unhappy…

Just adding to all the unhappy customers of this firm. Under Llyds direct all my meds for themonth came in one box with the correct packaging. now they drift in at various dates, often in plain white boxes with chopped up bubble packs inside. they are so haphazard and hard to reach. Ive been without heart meds for 2 weeks and hypertensives for a few days. Come back please LLOYDS DIRECT.

Works ok mainly

Prefered the old app but this uns ok,just not as simple... easy enough to use, it reminds you a bit early ,but if u ignore it ,it reminds u later,, i think most of the poor reviews are user error as mine reminds me and does what it says

i'm having to split my meds in half now as i run close to renewal, you are either reminded a week after an order to buy your next order or not at all - the system before worked fine - This service has failed me a lot, i end up going to supermarket to buy beetroot as an emergency measure - lowers your blood pressure

Changing the app has now made things…

Changing the app has now made things problematic for me, its a complete nightmare to log in for me, I suffer with my memory and it's taken me a while to be able to write this review. I am now fed up with it as before I used face id to log in now when it sends me to system online nothing works, why change things that work into a nightmare for patients who are not well its just so confusing for me now and I have lost all faith in these online systems.

Every prescription I have is delayed so…

Every prescription I have is delayed so I have adapted and now order my prescriptions a couple of weeks earlier than I need them so that I will have them in time. However the last one just didn't turn up at all. When I asked for them to send a replacement, they said they will have to raise an investigation which will take at least 72 further hours and then no doubt another 2 week wait for my medication, all the while I don't have my diabetes medication. Not great.

Do better

Another day, another 'sorry your prescription is delayed, would you like to collect locally' email. This is the second time in a row my monthly prescription has been delayed recently. I say recently because since I started using P2U I have lost count of the amount of times my prescription has been delayed. It's getting embarrassing having to keep going into my local pharmacy to explain that you guys have screwed up again. P2U are also absolutely impossible to contact unless you can hang about on the phone. Considering the number of vulnerable people who use this service it's frightening to think how many would face running out thanks to the bad service.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service, did not receive a reminder email to order my medication. I ordered through the App, over a week later I received a message via the app to contact my GP as there was no response to my order. I did this and was told that Pharmacy 2U had a bulk order approved in advance by my GP. I called Pharmacy 2U, the attitude of the worker was disrespectful and rude. He spoke to me like I was stupid and the whole situation was my fault, despite not receiving an email to re order. Ended up without my medication for 3 days.

My medication had stopped progressing

My medication had stopped progressing, no notification to inform me of a problem. So I contacted them and asked what the hold up was...apparently an IT error so I'm now having to wait extra days until they sort it, I've ran out of meds and was too late to try and get an emergency prescription, oh I was given the option to cancel and collect locally, that was not an option for me as the local pharmacy have also let me down as well hence going to this company! I would have thought they'd have prioritised my meds not make me wait even longer! All medication is important but I am not looking forward to these withdrawal symptoms.....so they don't care and complete lack of communication. Who overseas these prescriptions? Why was the issue with mine not picked up on? I had 2 estimated dispatches and then a 3rd it was obvious something was wrong so why didn't they inform me!!! This can be dangerous having a system that is meant to provide an important service and they don't notice when something is wrong!!!! People can't be left without medication it could make them very sick or even lead to death because suicide is ripe when someone is in withdrawal! Least you could do is prioritise those that you have already messed up with causing delays!

Terrible website

Terrible website . Hard to navigate . Online help is rubbish it doesn’t help and sends you to numerous pages. Medication request rejected and alternative recommended but no way of getting advice on the recommendation. My payment was cancelled but not informed about that either . Totally crap website you really need to change it and make it easier to use !

Appalling service

Appalling service. I've had problems with all of my prescription orders for my ADHD medication from P2U, each time involving me going back to my GP to update my prescription. This time, I couldn't pass the prescription on to my local pharmacy as P2U hadn't cancelled the order properly. I got two sets of conflicting advice from them over the phone today. Complete nightmare and will never use again. My advice is to avoid P2U altogether and support your local pharmacy!

Better Online Pharmacies Out there

Like another of the reviews I had my order cancelled which included much needed medications, because of an invalid voucher code although the order had had been processed and the money deducted from my bank account. I was notified the order had been cancelled some 24 hours later and that it would take 3-5 days for my money to be returned to my bank account. Their competitors offer the same products with the same pricing structure so do yourself a favour and give them a swerve.

Dishonourable company

Placed orders with the advertised discount code on Pharmacy2go website. They completely cancelled my orders without giving any reasons just because they did not want to honour the discount codes. Just dishonourable company looking to make maximum profit part of chemist direct. Will not place any more orders with them!

I am deeply dissatisfied with this…

I am deeply dissatisfied with this company. They consistently demonstrate poor reliability, misleading customers with deceptive information and actions that contradict their promises. On multiple occasions, they have cancelled medication prescriptions, only to be instructed to re-enter them, only to cancel again. They've also claimed medications were out of stock when they were, in fact, available.

This company seems to selectively choose which prescriptions they wish to process, particularly avoiding critical medications, which disrupts their system and causes unnecessary delays. Their business model appears designed to prioritize easier tasks while ignoring more urgent needs, ultimately compromising patient care.

Communication is shockingly poor. Customer service is unresponsive, and they often fail to return calls. Even more concerning, they strategically cancel orders and shift the blame, making it your responsibility to resolve issues that were entirely their fault.

Upon further investigation, it’s clear that this company has manipulated reviews to present a more favorable image on some links, attempting to erase negative feedback?

They’ve wasted my time, as well as my doctor’s, and based on others’ experiences, they have put vulnerable individuals who rely on medication at serious risk.

I am closing my account and will ensure that this review stands, no matter how much they try to suppress it. I strongly advise others to avoid this company at all costs.
