Wheels do not work well
I really enjoy using my chair however it has one major problem. The wheels are very stiff and it doesn't move around easily on carpet or hardwood floors. If it wasn't for the wheels this chair would be 5 stars.
Good service (with minor shipping gripes)
Given how expensive shipping was, the time (& radio silence) from "ordered" to "shipped" was a bit annoying. But once on its way, the actual delivery was quite prompt.
Basically, don't order an emergency replacement chair unless you want to be sitting on a dining chair + cushion for a fortnight.
Foam in seat dropped in quality
I have the same chair at work for 2 years now and very pleased, this is why I bought it for home. The new chair at home does not have the same foam quality in the seat and is not as comfortable relative to my 2 yr old work one. Given the high-end pricing, this is why i have provided 3 stars because of the obvious quality/cost cutting.
The chair is phenomenal, but...
The chair is phenomenal. The customer service not so much.
I ordered a basic Black Leap V2. Had to opt for delivery. The fee was high, but the chair was heavy, and it said it would be quick once dispatched. I was advised about a 1-week delay.
1 week later the chair was dispatched and hit the local courier overnight. That was impressive, however, the local company held the chair for over a week promising it would be delivered that day only for it to be delayed. Steelcase support dismissed me inquiry saying it would be another 2 weeks for delivery?? Then washed their hands of the problem The depot is 5 mins away.
The chair itself is amazing. Overall happy with the product, would like to order another, but not willing to deal with Steelcase CS and their delivery partners again.

Customer Service didn’t notify of delivery ahead of time
Service: When I completed the order, I received an email that said “Our Customer Care Team will be reaching out to you within 7-10 working days to arrange delivery and assembly of your Steelcase purchase”. No one contacted me to arrange delivery and I did not get any advance notification. I just got a message one morning while I was out, telling me that the package was arriving on that day. There was no time frame given. I had to rush home. Not great.
Product: We purchased a Series 1 chair last year and absolutely love it. So we decided to get a second chair— identical to what we already had. The new chair is as comfortable as our first, except the castors are not as good. Not all 5 wheels turn when the chair moves around. Still a great chair but could have been better, like our first.

Great product, but frustrating service
I love the steelcase product but each time I try to order something the response is slow and I end up spending a lot of time chasing. This time was no different. I used the online chat, provided all of my details. Was passed off to local rep who I then had to chase multiple times. When I finally got onto them I was told they couldn't invoice me until I provided my details! Just a poor experience. We ended up getting the product, but I am not sure why it has to be so hard.
