To avoid the exorbitant $100 delivery fee of the chair, I opted for the self pickup option.
When selecting the pickup option, there was no advisory notice informing me that the chair would come pre-assembled in a 75 x 75 x 120 cm box; far too large to fit in my car, apparently "for my convenience".
The chair was to be picked up from a warehouse in Mulgrave, but only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10am and 3pm.

Had this crucial information been provided at checkout, I would have opted for the delivery option, but instead I was forced to arrange alternative transport with great difficulty in the middle of a work day to pickup the chair, which is simply not acceptable for a costly and premium product like this one.

The Karman itself is a mostly well engineered chair, although the value of the chair at the $2000 price point is greatly exaggerated as it is only marginally better than much chairs you would find at Officeworks for a fraction of the cost.

The seat on the Karmin is by far the worst aspect of the entire chair and causes immense lower back strain after sitting for relatively short periods due to the farcical design of the tiny cushion that is positioned between the mesh and the plastic frame. The cushion is inadequate and barely provides a barrier from the hard plastic bucket of the seat frame.

Overall, I would have returned this chair had I not been expected to return the chair to the warehouse myself, once again during highly restricted workday hours.

Terrible arrangement for delivery schedule and communication. Delivery date shown on website differs from email. Staff emailed me to confirm another date, emailed again to ask me to ignore the last email, emailed me again saying its been confirmed and if i make any changes i will have to pay a penalty, and on date of delivery emailed to say the item was out of stock. didn't even call.

What made my experience great was Gerda at your office in Sydney City. She was very patient, informative and very, very helpful. Steelcase has a great asset in her. I have the chair I have because of her and the service she provided. She focused on my needs rather than focusing on selling a chair.

Best ergonomic chairs ever, period.

This is my 2nd steelcase chair (first one is overseas, and still being used as everyday office chair after 10yrs), and price tag is totally worth it, considering how much one can pay fixing up their back pain!

Fast delivery and my chairs arrived in a good condition. The delivery guy was very polite.

My husband and I are pensioners and he has an aching body. Steelcase Gesture chair is now here. We had hoped it would assist his long days of sitting. He enjoys computing and we are more than pleased with the improvement in his pain factor just from Gesture chair supporting him properly. As you say it moves with the body. Thanks for making it a pleasure to deal with Steelcase as well as your product.

The worker who installed the desk is quick and efficient.

The logistics company offering pick up was terrible. Was told to arrive at their parking lot then call for directions to pick up. Had trouble getting them to answer the phone, and their directions to the warehouse were incredibly confusing as they got their left and rights mixed up.
