The chair is comfortable and supportive, easy enough to assemble as well. I’d recommend it for a home office or as an alternative to a gaming chair. However the freight company used in West Aus sucks,... See more

Good customer service
Good customer service. Timely response to questions regarding the order.
Showroom was very helpful, pick up not the best
Showroom was very helpful. Although busy they tried to accomodate for everyone there regardless of it being Boxing Day. The pick up on the other hand was below average. They very roughly loaded the unit into my car. Dragging it across the boot. Luckily it’s very sturdy but other cars may not be so lucky.
Pain in the ass
Slow dispatch.
Found the chair extremely uncomfortable. recline tension is WAY too light and lack of recline lock forces you to either lean forward in the seat or go all the way back with no in between. Seat pad was too firm and causing numbness after < 1 hour. Plastic lumbar support way too hard and digging into my back. Extremely overpriced headrest that’s badly designed and not sold separately.
Awful return policy force me to pay 300$ for return.
Stay away.

it is comfort and support very well
it is comfort and support very well. can keep me stay on work without tired for an hour. I think the angle of the preloaded 3 step back support lock angle can go more choice. 1st is upright, but i can’t find any difference between the 2nd and 3rd step.
Not too bad
1. I was told the 105 delivery fees include removal, but it’s not.
2. The seat pan is too hard, I end up buying another cushion.
Showroom appointment greatly recommended!
Showroom experience was great, got to check out the entire range to see which seat and trim worked for me the best. Plenty of time to deliberate and go through the many configurations available.

Great sales experience trying out the various chairs in store. The online shopping experience was easy and seamless. The product is outstanding (Karman) and well with the price. Delivery was quick and with a fully assembled chair could not have been easier. Highly recommended.
Very happy
Could not test out the chair so took a risk and it was a Black Friday Sale!
Outcome... very happy!

Swift delivery
Quick delivery, and product picture looked almost exactly like the actual product. It’d be great if we had more off-the-rack color combinations and downloadable receipt attached to the email.
Poor communication, exhausting pickup and middling chair
Opting for the pickup option to avoid the exorbitant $100 metro delivery fee, I was not given any warning at checkout that the chair would come (laughably, "for my convenience") pre-assembled in a 75 x 75 x 120 cm box, nor was I informed that pickup would be from a warehouse only on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 3pm.
Not only did I have to arrange alternative transport to pickup the chair with great difficulty, but the limited pick up times meant this had to be performed during the middle of a business day. Had this information been provided at checkout, I would have opted for the $100 delivery fee.
The Karman itself is mostly well engineered, although its attractiveness is often more superficial than structural as there are some serious design flaws and limitations for a chair often sold at a minimum of $2000.
The incredibly poorly designed seat utilises an inadequate cushion layer between the hard plastic seat frame and the upper mesh layer, meaning that I cannot sit for more than about 1 hour before the lower back and coccyx strain sets in; a problem that I never once encountered in any $400 Officeworks chair over the past several decades.
Overall, the experience of dealing with Steelcase and their archaic logistics soured the additionally mediocre and disappointing experiences with the chair itself.
Had I not been required to return the chair to the warehouse of my own volition, I would have taken the refund.
