Possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had whilst buying something of the internet, told repeatedly that the steering rack was leaving TODAY but wasn’t, to eventually be told after over a week late that it was finally on it’s way, then returning the old rack turned out to be just as difficult. I only hope I never have to use you again, which is a shame as the part received worked fine

Overall however, the service and value for money, was good especially when compared to the price of a brand new unit; the delivery and collection of the exchange unit went without a hitch
My order was placed early September (4th) but was not dispatched until October 2nd , a little longer that the estimated 5-6 days? I am still not completely sure why it took so long; I was led to believe that 2 or 3 units failed final inspection followed by a delay in sourcing a suitable unit. I understand that these things happen and are sometimes unavoidable, but feedback regarding the delays was very sporadic and had to be initiated by myself, either by e-mail or a phone call. E-mails requests were not as fruitful as requests over the phone and even then the information and level of details provided was dependant on who I spoke to.

The requirement to return the exchange unit within 14 days can be tight, especially when there is no guaranteed dispatch date until it is ready for dispatch.

This was my first time dealing with Western Power Steering. They are very helpful, my steering rack arrived on time, my garage where very impressed with there quality. Highly recommended. Car Jaguar F-Pace 3.0.

Quick delivery and product seems great so far. Fitted it and no more steering light, power assistance is back! (Hopefully for good!)
The only downside I would say is the lack of any instructions, for this car (Fiat Panda 169) I'd 100% recommend Youtube videos by Savio Cooper. Italian with English AI over dub. Very clear and helped me with my unit.

My Nissan electric power unit came on time and boxed securely. Instructions for returning the damaged unit were clear and easily applied. Customer service was very good. Part was

One small concern I had was calling what I thought was Western Power Steering and a gentleman with a foreign accent answered and asked my address for the pick up. Felt this may have been some kind of scam so contacted the office directly. They had no knowledge of who I spoke to from the number obtained from my email link. SO BEWARE!
