Shoppers drug mart sucks
Shoppers drug mart sucks. They never have anything in stock. And it takes 3 hours to get your prescription.. the only good thing about them. Is they're open late and 7 days a week? That's about it other than that they suck
Shoppers drugmart watch where u park
Manager of
Shoppers drugmart
@25 B Elgin street
sudbury ontario
Must be the worst location I've ever experienced. I dont remember ever going to a shoppers drug mart and when I park in a disabled parking spot, with a sticker, walk in buy something, then walk across the street for the show and come back to my veichle. To a boot on my tire and a number to call. With 160$ ticket that can only be paid in cash or debit and they dont except credit. Is got to be the biggest bullshit I've seen. So for that. I and my family will be boy cotting all shoppers drugmarts for now on. There are plenty other pharmacies I can use, who are much friendlier and respect their customers who come and shop at there stores.

I had a very insulting and horrible experience at 45 overlea blvd store the staff and manager are rude and cosmetician Christine is racist and other managers their are doing awful job this store should be closed its is ruining it's reputation 😢
I had a fantastic shopping experience…
I had a fantastic shopping experience at Shoppers drug mart,298 John street,Thornhill. The seller, « Bahareh » was incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to guide me through the products without rush. « Bahareh »shared her own experiences and feedbacks from other customers, which helped me choose the best options for my needs. Every product she recommended from the cosmetics and creams to the shampoo, has been amazing, and I am so happy with my purchase.I truly appreciate her effort and kindness 🥰 I will definitely be shopping here again. Highly recommend!
Michelle & Alison Discrimination
Avoid Shoppers Drug Mart store #311 at 815 17 Ave SW, Calgary, Alberta. The store manager, Michelle Delamere, creates a toxic workplace where white employees get special treatment while others are ignored and treated unfairly. Hardworking staff from diverse backgrounds are disrespected, while her favorites get away with anything. Even customers face poor service and double standards. The owner, Alison Davison, refuses to address these issues, showing she doesn’t care about her employees. This store has no fairness, no respect, and clear discrimination.
I'd give a zero
I'd give a zero, but that option isn't available. I ordered online and received the wrong product. Also, it was an offer if I spent a certain amount, I earned extra points. I have emailed them 5 times, taken a survey, asked to be contacted, and phoned them once. What they have decided to do was, take away my points earned and refund me the cost of the wrong item. Not good enough Shoppers, not good enough. I have mobility issues and have NO way of getting what I ordered without spending $30 on cabs to do so!
If I could give a 0 I would
If I could give a 0 I would. I had a brutal experience recently with Shoppers Drug Mart, in Chilliwack BC & will not be continuing my services (after a 3 decades of loyalty). I ordered a product online, perfume. Used points (220,000). It arrived. Not the right scent for me. Within days I went to exchange the product & was turned away. I was told to drive around to other Shoppers locations “where the specific brand was sold” for an exchange….how would I know which store carries what brands, it was bought online? Eventually found the store that carries the brand. Brought the perfume in, with original packing & the receipt, to the store that sold the brand. No exchanges allowed. Contrary to everything listed online about a 30 return/ exchange policy, stating that it won’t be a problem, it is. The customer service was terrible, I’d of liked to slap the b#*ch of a beauty consultant for the condescending attitude given, for the simple request of an exchange. I am a veteran with PTSD. I have a service dog when I go out, as I am easily triggered. I order most products online & am overly grateful for this option as I continue to manage symptoms. I can’t believe how this situation played out. I was told to take the perfume to the Canada Post within the same Shoppers Drug Mart, & pay for a return….. so staff can walk a bottle of perfume over to the beauty counter, to make the return…..after I pay for shipping. I will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau. I can’t imagine how badly this unethical system will take advantage of those who are easy targets. Disabled people. Seniors perhaps. Likely. Disgusting. BUYERS BEWARE!!
Don't buy anything online!!
Purchased a $260 perfume online at Shoppers. The package came reeking like cigarette smoke!! I went to the store to do an exchange and was told I had to refund and re-buy. I would lose the 40,000 optimum points promo I got and the $40.00 in points I had redeemed will go back to a gift card. Why do I have to lose the 40,000 points cause you cant do a simple exchange? Why not use reputable shipping companies with policies in place regarding drivers smoking in their cars? I decided to return and will buy elsewhere. I rather pay more somewhere else, its the principal here. Your staff also very rude in store. I told them I didn't want the $40.00 points I redeemed to go into a gift card cause their cards are always frauded. Employee told me last week they found a whole shelf full of fake $500.00 Amazon cards!! Says not enough staff in store to monitor. Never buy from them again, they don't care about customers! I even sent 2 emails asking about the points I would lose and no one bothered to respond!!!
I am writing to express my deep…
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the way your stores treat loyal customers. I recently purchased two hair sprays from a Shoppers location, only to discover that one of them was defective. Naturally, I went to the nearest Shoppers store to my home, expecting a simple exchange.
To my surprise, I was informed that an exchange was not possible, and I would have to receive a refund and repurchase the product. While this was already inconvenient, I agreed. However, when I proceeded to buy the exact same product (same brand and type), I was shocked to find that the price had increased—by double the amount I had originally paid.
I explained to the store that this made no sense. It was not my fault that Shoppers had sold me a defective product, yet I was being forced to pay more just to get what I had originally purchased. The store manager coldly stated that I had to either pay the new price or return to the original store where I had made my purchase.
This is completely unacceptable. As a customer, I buy from Shoppers as a brand, not from individual, unrelated stores. It is unreasonable to expect customers to know that pricing and policies vary between locations, especially when dealing with a faulty product sold by your company. Instead of standing behind your merchandise and ensuring customer satisfaction, you are shifting the burden onto the buyer.
Situations like this are exactly why so many retail stores are struggling. If Shoppers cannot provide fair and consistent service, I see no reason to continue shopping with your brand.

I have been with shoppers for over 30 years and am leaving because the service has become so bad now . It’s great when companies become so big they forget about their customers and then don’t understand why there companies go down . Just ask sears

Indian Origin Pharmacy Employee Rejected Doctor Prescription
Hello Everyone, today i.e. 20th March 2025 at 3:30pm I visited Shopper Drug Mart at 2202 Broad St. Regina. An Indian origin employee reluctant to give the medicine since the attached prescription is not original. Which is ridiculous, it was given by the doctor. I'm very much disappointed due to the employee lack of knowledge and for not giving the medicine. She don't want to share the final cost of the medicine since it's not original prescription.
I urge Galen Weston Jr. to recruit staff that are competent, not cheap labour with lack of knowledge on crucial life saving medicine. Please learn from London Drugs about customer service Pharmacy Division. I receive bad experience and negative impression every time I visit Pharmacy at Shoppers Drug Mart. Please work on helping patients and customer on improving customer service. Thanks for sending me back without giving medicine.
PanOxyl Overnight Patches
I reviewed the overnight patches from PanOxyl which I'd recommend to anyone wanting to clear their acne breakouts.

Racism and Sexism Is Permitted?
Yesterday, I observed a disturbing incident of racism at a certain location. A woman rudely cut in front of a couple in line and justified her behavior by claiming that as a woman and a native, she was entitled to do so. Despite the couple confronting her about her rudeness, the staff present did not intervene or address her behavior. This lack of action by the staff makes me feel uneasy about the safety of this place, especially for families. It seems that racism has occurred multiple times at this location over the past year, and it is disheartening that Shoppers Drug Mart seems to tolerate such behavior by not taking any action. It is truly disappointing and unacceptable.
Racism and Sexism is allowed here…
My wife and I had an extremely upsetting experience at this location, and I feel compelled to share it. We went in to purchase a pack of batteries and were second in line at the checkout. A staff member opened another register to assist us, but before we could move forward, the woman behind us cut in front, smirking at us as if she was entitled to do so. I immediately pointed out how rude this was, but she responded with complete indifference, saying she didn’t care.
What happened next was even more disturbing. As we completed our purchase and still inside near the exit of the store, this individual followed behind us and made a loud blatantly racist and sexist remark. While I didn’t catch every word, it was along the lines of how white people should learn to “bow” and that, as a man, I needed to “shut up” because she was a woman and native. My wife and I were completely stunned and disgusted by what had just happened.
What makes this even worse is that the staff did nothing to address the situation. Cutting in line is one thing, but when it is done so aggressively and is followed by racist remarks, it becomes a much larger issue. We expect businesses, especially in a small community like Yorkton, to ensure all customers are treated with basic fairness and respect. Instead, this experience left us feeling like equal treatment is no longer a given at Shoppers Drug Mart.
It has been a full day since this happened, and we are still deeply unsettled. Racism should never be tolerated in any form, and the fact that this behavior was allowed to happen unchecked is beyond disappointing. We truly hope management takes incidents like this seriously because no one should have to experience this kind of treatment while simply trying to shop.
Bad News/Good NewsFirst of all
First of all, bad news then good news. The pharmacy team at Lacewood Dr. is terrible. As a matter of fact, after many years of putting up with almost non-existent service, I have moved my prescriptions to a competitor.
The SDM team NEVER answers the phone. Good News- I still shop in the storefront. This is because of a lady named Laura Kingston. She is the friendly, smiling face that usually greets me when I enter the store. She is always up and happy and helpful. My wife has been incapacitated for about 4 years and, yet Laura always asks about her. It is employees such as her that make me keep coming back. Please pass my best wishes on to her along with a pat on her back. Frank Fogarty
Pharmacist cannot find existing prescription
On March 02/25 I phoned in my prescription renewal to Shoppers Drug Mart, 174 Bank Street, Ottawa, at 613-232-5723. It was accepted.
On March 04/25 at 10:00 AM I went to pick it up.
Your idiot in Pharmacy could not find it. I repeated the Rx# *****08. And again. And again.
I spelled my last lane for her. I spelled my first name.
She could not find it.
She asked my date of birth.
I told her.
She said I was "not in the system"..
How stupid is this? I could not get a renewal because I or my prescription could not be found by this dim creature?
Shoppers, you need to do much better for customers.
When I got home, I phoned again and, guess what? This time, she found my prescription and renewal!
So, if I go back will it be there?
Senior With No Insurance Expected to Pay TWICE for An EssentialPrescription
This review is for Shoppers Drug Mart
R. ELSOKARY Pharmacy Ltd. 18 St. SE, Calgary.
I have dealt with Shoppers for a very long time and until now I have never encountered such a disgustingly poor and frustrating level of service.
My doctor wrote my prescription for Wellbutrin XL. When I picked up my medication it never occurred to me to check if the pharmacist had filled the prescription with something other than what was prescribed. SHE DID!
Not only did she ignore that the prescription 'specifically' stated WELLBUTRIN XL, when I phoned about it she said they always use a generic brand unless the prescription specifies that a generic brand is unacceptable. I explained that a generic brand of Wellbutrin did not work well for me in the past and if she had asked I would have told her so. Not only did she refuse to correct her error, which I am sure any reputable pharmacy would be insured for, she had the audacity to suggest that she refill my prescription for full price!
I have no insurance, I am on a senior's budget and I cannot afford to pay double for a 3 month supply of medication that I cannot abruptly stop taking.
An eyeopener to check your filled prescription, at least at this location of Shoppers, before you leave the pharmacy counter. If not, regardless of your financial circumstances, be prepared to pay twice.
Poor pharmacy service starting again
Phoned to find out about prescriptions renew. Was out of country and very little meds left. Left on hold over 10 minutes, hung up called again. Same thing. Very poor service in the pharmacy. It was this way before, then we had a major improvement so I did not move. Now starting problems again. Shorted my meds majorly, charging for med when I am exempt until I complain. Then being told no refunds without the receipt. It should be in their computer what they ripped me off for.
