Awful

Awful. Took over from Ship and Shop. More expensive, slower, ridiculous charges not fit for purpose for an international customer base.

Deceitful business

Used this service two times.

The first time my package never arrived. Had to plead with customer support for 3 months to get a refund.

The second time they charged me $58 for a small package. Clearly a mistake. Again I had to argue with customer service for an hour to get a refund. To the point I had to explain to them how mathematics work.

I can only conclude that this company purposely deceives customers to make money. Avoid.

Scammers


Scammers.

Just the worse customer service.

They don’t understand import and export rules.

They will ship something one day and not the next.

When you ask to talk to a manager they say you can’t.

When you ask them why they can’t ship something, they point you to their own website that doesn’t say they can’t ship it.

Lost more than $1000 and no action so far

Lost more than $1000 and no action so far. It's likely turned into a scam.
This is not my first time using myUS.

I bought a $900 phone to be shipped express, no additional items to combine.

As opposed to the website, it's less than $70 for shipping but I was charged around $160. Nevermind, I needed it before August 18th as a gift, so I paid it.

Now the box reaches me a week later. I clear the customs with an additional $170 and receive a box containing lotions. My phone isn't there!!

This is the content I receive for a $1000 expenditure:

Customer support is not present, tried their whatsapp but they say it's a shopping team dossier, but don't let me contact them, instead, the conversation is simply cut off and I'm back to the automated bot.

A couple days later, I pester them and someone tells me they'll look into to re-order and send as quickly as possible but now a week down and two days before August 18th, I'm still left with no answer if I'll get my item back.

I don't think myUS will do anything except keep me waiting.

I have contacted my country's authority to advise where to report this to the american authority as a scam since I have received proof from Fedex, payment proof to their company and enough documents to prove it.

I don't recommend anyone using myUS, this is not the kind of service anyone wants to pay for.

Never again - outrageous extra fees, overcharged GST, hidden costs

Beware: their shipping calculator doesn't tell you about the extra fees and ridiculous valuations for VAT/GST purposes. TL;DR: my shipment which was meant to cost USD40 ended up being nearly double that.

I was shipping a jacket worth USD70, which the shipping calculator told me would cost USD40 to ship to Australia.

First: they *automatically* process your shipment so you have no chance to choose the method. I did manage to get onto an online chat and get my method confirmed (Aramex, USD40, they told me).

So imagine my surprise when my credit card was charged USD72 the next day. They told me:
- the'd charged USD45 not USD40 because "shipping charges change every day"
- they automatically charge insurance (not optional)
- they charge a fee for GST processing (not disclosed) which seems to be an extra 2%
- they valued my item at USD190 instead of USD70 resulting in huge over-calculation of GST

They are blatantly dishonest about what their shipment charges are going to be, and once they have your credit card details they just charge whatever they want.

A fraudulent company

A fraudulent company! Stay AWAY!!!!!! Don’t say you were not warned.

They charged me an arm and a leg on duties for items that cost a total of no more than $100 making it look like that was the only duty charge I was going to incur; and then the items arrive in my home country and I am being asked by Customs to pay additional duties that cost more than half the cost of the things I bought, keep in mind they had already charged me for duties, making it a double charge.

Stay away people!

unprofessional, faulty products, urging deadlines for returns

My mum placed an order with this company for a garbage disposal.
The costs were out of the world because of delivery and duty taxes.
They sent her the delivery in 2 separate deliveries instead of 1 (which made her pay twice for duty taxes).
They did pay for the second duty tax though.
Eventually, my mum received her garbage disposal, only to discover by the professional who came to attach it, that parts were missing from it. Many parts. Crucial parts. The engine of the garbage disposal did not work and made a circuit (and there was no electric cable).
The product was in a box without a specific address to return the product if there were any problems.
When she addressed the company, they apologized, and said their employees check the products in the warehouse (which proves they hire incompetent inspectors- if they did not notice so many parts were missing from the product), and are now asking her to return the product via a deadline by the provider (I am assuming they are not willing to pay for tax and delivery payments- which leaves my mum at a great loss of money, and not worth her additional time to spend for returning, as she will lose almost the same amount of what she paid already).
She was so discouraged by this ordeal that she did not want anything more to do with it. And I'm extremely angry because this company just stole $303 from her (excluding the addition of around $75 duty tax).
I wrote an email on my mum's behalf, as I wanted her to get a full refund, but I didn't get any reply from the company.

They are unprofessional and unreliable, and they will exhaust you until you want nothing more to do with them.

UPDATE: Brandi from Customer Service was on the case. She was very nice and polite and got us a refund.

Am such a luckiest person on earth

Am such a luckiest person on earth. A friend referred me to this company, thinking it is a great company. Days down the line he came back urging me not to sign up with them, citing the reason that they would transfer the charges from other debtors to your account so that you foot them. If you fail, they wont ship the parcel. You will surrender it to them and forget. They are merciless. Stay away!! My friend is crying!!

Overall a great shipping service to Saudi Arabia

Have been a myUS customer since mid 2017 and apart from 2-3 mishaps, overall it has been a great experience. Even with the mishaps, the customer service as prompt to refund and sort it out promptly. Once, I reached out to customer support they even refunded the cost of international shipping based on item weight. Their shipping rates to Saudi Arabia has also been greatly discounted and that too since last year the cheapest tier is now DHL (which was pre-2023 the most expensive option). This is great because when shipping items with dangerous good like Lithium batteries, etc. this makes its worth to get if there are no local options for me at lower shipping price now. Overall a nice experience, the only reason I reduced one star is, recently I feel the pricing update review process is taking much longer than before, and a month ago due to poor packaging of a record player it was totally destroyed (got full refund for item cost & international shipping) and during inspection of a record vinyl they damaged it by carelessly opening by cutting through the record. But they did admit it and offered a refund. And finally they lost one package after it was logged in suite, then took almost few days to finally make the shipment after locating it. But in general I did say they are very good and customer support so far for me has been great! I would recommend them.

Wish I could give zero stars as the…

Wish I could give zero stars as the service is an absolute joke. They've put a huge weight on my package and I have to pay 8 dollars to get them to weigh the package. This is after five attempts for them to accept the receipt for the order. Huge delays, huge inconvenience, huge rip off. Stay well clear.Edit: They then charged me more to ship the goods than they had cost me. Absolute jokers. Scammers.

My.US is now pure Garbage. Stay away!
Too expensive.
Zero cooperation with your business.
Zero communication.
Only asian chat customer service.
They seize your products without shipping back to a domestic address.
They are now scammers.

They will charge sales taxes when no products were purchased.

I was getting lots of sponsored ads for MyUS.com and it looked promising. I did the free premium trial to check it out. I had a package sent to them and it was a disaster. I made a previous review about a couple of issues about mandatory invoices and extreme delays but this is a different one.

MyUS.com tried to charge sales tax when no product was purchased at all. I contacted MyUS and they said it was required and wouldn't reverse the Sales Tax charge. Fortunately I processed it with PayPal and sent a refund issue through PayPal. After I escalated the refund request for Paypal to review, Paypal pretty much immediately agreed this was a scam charge and reversed it. Thank goodness for Paypal.

Needless to say I canceled my premium subscription and will never use MyUS.com again.

They will steal

As others recently report they will steal your money once you shop. They advertise that they will ask you about shipping options but instead they will automatically ship with an extremely expensive carrier option. This way they will make money off you and then leave you furious. Which they wont care about since they never thought you would be a returning customer anyway. Just stay away!

Account Cancelled and keeping my parcels!

I have used MyUS for years for all my purchases in the US. My credit was stolen and my bank returned their payment and MyUS simply cancelled my account while I have packages ready to ship! They will not allow me access to my parcels, a simple response of "We will not reinstate your account" they will not respond to my pleas for my parcels.

They charging your card without your review of price, service, insurance. Thiefs. When my first package arrives, i expect options to choose when, for what price, and what carrier to ship it. Absolutely not. Same day as packahge arrived, they automatically charged and shiped all. For horrible price of coursew, with horrible insurance fee. It caused price of package was several times more than real, and inmcreased my duty. I did not accept my packege, and claim it in paypal case. Not succesful. Legal thiefs.
