Shocked, appalled and disgusted!!11
This is the absolute WORST company I have ever done business with. I ordered a “refurbished” motherboard from UCW. Never again.
First of all, the packaging was abysmal. I wouldn’t trust UCW to ship me a fuse. The box the order was packed in was all smashed up, which wouldn’t be an issue if the motherboard I had ordered from UCW was packaged adequately. The device was surrounded by a few shreds of newspaper, not even enough to protect the board from a banana being thrown at it. There was no attempt at waterproofing either.
The real trouble started when I installed my motherboard. I spent a good while opening up my computer and unplugging all the components from my old motherboard. Installation was, of course, the opposite.
I had everything connected up and WOMP WOMP, my PC would not boot because the motherboard was a piece of trash.
I then had to remove it and put back my old motherboard. Such a hassle! But the real hassle started when I contacted UCW looking for help on the defective product I received. They REFUSED to take responsibility for sending me a defective motherboard and tried to claim that static from my hands during the installation process damaged the board. FAKE NEWS!!11 I wore anti-static gloves. I am a very intelligent person.
I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and will be updating this review soon after filing a lawsuit.
