It was a little confusing on wanting the departure date of ship and our actual reservation of our tour. There was no review of what I purchased as a summary. Other than that, it was good.

shore excursion discount

I couldn't find an area on the payment screen to receive my shore excursion discount of $75.
I have used Julie Collins w/Cruises Only to book my cruises for years. She is awesome! However, I'm not sure I'd do a shore excursion with them again if the website isn't set up to give the discount they offered through an email sent directly to me.

I called the company to ask a question…

I called the company to ask a question about how to use a promo code. The rep told me he would send me an email to help me do it, and then waited on the line to make sure I got it. He was also very cordial and polite. I really like that.

Roatan Land and Sea

This excursion was very good. We met Joe at the meeting location, took a van with 5 other couples in and around the local area, stopped at local shops. Joe had the driver ( sorry forgot his name) stop and he bought local fruit for us to try, we took a boat ride to the snorkeling area- so much fun, tasted their rum punch- and met joe back at the beach. We ended with joe giving each one of us a souvenir- their paper dollar - We would recommend this tour and if you are lucky- you will get Joe and his driver! Recommended 100%

False advertising and horrible customer service

Tour name: fun day in scoot coupe

Summary:
Shore Excursion Group
- lied about what the excursion was (the excursion was great though)
- nearly made us miss our ship
- gave us faulty meeting location directions
- all contact information except the emergency number were offline

Excursion company (blue bubbles sports):
- accommodated is even though we would have to leave early
- found a way for us to tour and make our boat.

We were told to arrive 15 min early. Upon arriving we called all available numbers. No response. We then called the emergency number 5-10 minutes before our departure time. Finally got a response. We were rudely told our guides were still a few minutes out, and to meet at the main terminal. So we went to the main taxi and bus terminal and waited.

A few minutes after our excursion was supposed to begin we called the emergency number AGAIN, because we could not find our guides at the location we were told on the previous call and on the confirmation email.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: all non emergency numbers either took us straight to voice mail or were not connected to begin with so contacting our divers our the actual excursion company was impossible

Once the emergency line operator picked up we asked for where our guides were or for a refund because obviously our guides were not only late but the previous service was horrible. She then put us on hold and told us to go to a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT LOCATION THAN BEFORE. So we went there and got on the taxi to go to the excursion location.

At this point in time we were 30 minutes past the time our excursion was supposed to start because of a the SHORE EXCURSION GROUP. We then exited the taxi at the excursion meeting location.

The excursion location the activity was not what was advertised through SHORE EXCURSION GROUP. What was advertised was a cute buggy tour where we would get a tour of the island (history and other cultural info along the way) what we got was a loud atv tour with no such information. THE COMPANY WE TOURED WITH WAS GREAT and went out of their way to make sure we could still see some of the tour and still get back on time.

Booking for our first cruise

This was really scary for me to book all of these excursions. We have never been on a cruise before. How will we know where to meet the group to go on the tours? Will our ship always be at the right place at the right time?

I called for assistance twice, for two totally different reasons. One was because the system was not allowing me to book and excursion, but I was trying to book something I had already booked. I was relieved the system stopped me.

I feel confident everything will work out in the end,

We took Princess cruise and booked the…

We took Princess cruise and booked the tour in Balize. But it's not a good experience. They were trying to squeeze us with other people in a very small old van. A row can only sit 3 people but they want us to squeeze 4 people there. They also asked us to let our elementary school kids to sit on our laps. That is ridiculous. We paid for each people including kids. Why they don't deserve a seat...Plus, the van is super old. It's like 20 years old van with no seat belt. The A/C is not cold at all. Thanks God that it's not that hot that day. We have to roll the windows down to get some air in but it still felt very uncomfortable inside. Also, I don't even know what the driver (tour guy) was talking about? We sat very last 2 rows and we can not hear anything what he was talking about. The van was just running on the city for like an hour. Not too much interesting things you can see. Doesn't worth the money that we paid for. Disappointed...

BEWARE!!! No call, no show!!

BEWARE!!!! First, our assigned time was pushed back from 10am to 1145am which was inconvenient as our port call was from 8am to 3 pm. We arrived at the destination spot 30 minutes early at 1115 am. We waited till 1155 and still no one from Coconut Tours came to meet us. I called the local service number twice during that time, but each time it went to voicemail and had a message in Spanish which I did not comprehend. I called the U.S. service number for emergency service to report the issue. They placed me on hold and tried to contact the local operator with no luck. Even they couldn’t reach the local company. What POOR service!!!! I was told they would send me an email as he was escalating my issue. I have not received any email yet that confirms our conversation. This is unacceptable.

I scheduled this particular excursion because it was such a special experience for my kids for Christmas. First, our time got pushed back so we had to fill 3 hours of time walking around the downtown which then costed me more money that I would not have spent had we been on the excursion. But then, no call, no show! What a major let down for my kids - and at Christmas! This was their Christmas present!! How do you run a business like that????

Beware when booking with this company!!

Culture and History tour of AntiguaCruise port was extremely busy and we…

Cruise port was extremely busy and we were not advised the the Broadwalk where we were supposed to meet was closed until we arrived.
This could have been communicated by message from the Company . The tour guide found us but as they had 3 separate tours leaving it was bedlam! I gave my paperwork to the first Guide who met us but the other guides did not know who was who. We left the pier late and were not told what the itinerary was going to be Or how long each stop would be.
Talk on the bus was informative but I didn't want to hear about or see where they mend the recreational vehicles. I was not reassured that we would be back in time as the driver could not guarantee our arrival time back to the ship. So at the first stop (Nelsons Dock Yard), 7 of us all thought the same so the Driver helpfully got us a taxi back to the ship. The tour driver said 'anything could happen' when I asked about a guarantee to get us back on time.
Sorry but would not use again. It's more expensive but next time I will do excursions with the cruise company; both for peace of mind and health & safety.
