My daughter attended the sessions for a year to prepare for the 11 plus entrance test. She absolutely loved learning with Adele! She's an amazing practitioner and such a kind person. My daughter loves Adele's lessons so much that she's now a student mentor for Shropshire Tutor. Thank you so much for your guidance and kindness through this journey, we couldn't have done it without you.

Adele has supported my son for the last year in preparing for the 11 plus exam. The sessions have been fun and engaging, the non verbal reasoning was invaluable. After a year of sessions, my son felt ready to sit the exam, something that is very daunting for a 10 year old to do. After sitting the exam he came out feeling happy with how it went and this was down to the preparation he received and through completing mock exams with Adele. We have now obtained the results and it was a pass! An amazing achievement and the skills he has learnt will also support him in future tests. We couldn’t be happier with the support he received!

My son has just completed 4 weeks of tutoring with Dylan, he is calm, patient and engaging, my son really enjoys his tutor session and feels he’s learnt more in 4 weeks than at school.

He is due to sit his GCSE’s next year and Dylan is very good at telling my son how to write his answers on his maths test paper so he will be able to get the marks.

Sashorna had been an excellent tutor for my son. He had lost interest and motivation in English lessons. In a short period of time, she has developed both his confidence and attitide towards English, and amazingly in what is a short amount of time made a difference to his grades. Another year until GCSE's and feeling confident he will achieve his potential.

While we didn’t have an extensive amount of sessions, the experience we found was first class with both Adele and Sarah. I found myself wishing we booked up sooner. Despite that, our daughter gained a place at grammar and the lessons coupled with the effort she put in at home was the perfect compliment.

We started our journey with Adele and Shropshire Tutor 12 months ago when our eldest daughter joined Adele's Saturday afternoon 11 plus class. She has loved the fun, engaging, challenging and thought provoking lessons and made some great friends along the way. The growth in confidence and appetite to learn sparked from these sessions has been amazing to see as a parent.

Communication with the director was really easy. The registration process was straightforward. My son had a trial lesson and he really enjoyed it. He said the tutor has explained things really well to him.
However, during his first trial lesson, he spoke a couple of times. Following the kesson we received an email saying that a parent has complained and they will not be offered us a place because our son was disruptive but the director was happy to give my 9 year old a second chance. We declined. We felt that was unnecessarily to complain from the first lesson. We respected the director’s concerns but equally, we care about our son and we do not think it is ok to label and judge children from one lesson while my son was genuinely happy and excited about having lessons with his friend from his school. This was a new environment to him and he just met new people. I wasn’t happy with the way we were approached and the way it was dealt with at all.

We used Shropshire Tutor to prep my son for his 11+, specifically to practice papers in a test environment. It was helpful for him to get that experience.

He passed the 11+, I'm sure that the experience had with Shropshire Tutor enabled that.

We have used Shropshire Tutor at different intervals of for children's lives - preschool, 11+ for my daughter and now for my son. We have experienced in person and zoom sessions. Our children love working with the tutors and we highly recommend Shropshire Tutor

Adele is professional, approachable and honest; guiding my son through his NVR prep. He began in a class set up and due to commitments we then had Adele for her 1:2:1 sessions. They worked perfectly for my son, showing engagement, interest and cared for his progress. My son enjoyed his tutoring sessions more so than school! She is patient and attentive and would certainly recommend for anybodies child! I just need my daughter to be tutored next!

Yvonne has really helped our daughter with her GCSE Maths work. She had been thorough, patient & has given our daughter more confidence in the subject.

My Son continues his tutoring journey after 12 months. His tutor has been wonderful, helped my son with his understanding of maths in simple terms to help his come to grasps with areas he was struggling to understand.
Adele is also wonderful and on hand if needed.

My son is really enjoying his 1-1 lessons. Shropshire Tutor provide a professional, friendly, tailored approach to tutoring, strengthening his confidence. The lessons are well organised and communication is excellent
