Adele is an excellent tutor, she gives the children techniques and encourages them to use their own skills to answer the questions - playing to their strengths. My son is really engaged and enjoying the sessions.

I contacted Shropshire Tutor to arrange one to one sessions for my Daughter who was having difficulty with maths at school. Sarah at Shropshire Tutor has been tutoring my Daughter for 2 years now and she has been fantastic. Sarah understands my Daughter and knows how to keep her motivated, thanks to Sarah her confidence has grown massively and she gets enjoyment out of learning again. I cannot thank Sarah enough.

Both my children have attended group SATS classes. These gave them confidence in their ability. Adele was brilliant at putting the children at ease and making learning fun.
Recently when my daughter wanted some extra help i had no hesitation in contacting Adele. Now having 1:1 tutoring with Robbie, who understands where she needs help but also has renewed her confidence following lockdown and home schooling.
Highly recommend Adele and her team to help anyone and get them where they need to be.
Communication is great and I am sure i will need their help in the future.

Cannot rate Adele any more she managed to put a extra class on to allow my daughter to get tuition for the 11+ tests and for that I’m so thankful

I contacted Shropshire Tutor during the third lock down as I felt my daughter was disengaged from learning and had missed out on so much teaching. Adele was able to arrange weekly sessions for my daughter with Sarah Jones. Sarah has been wonderful and helped my daughters confidence, self-esteem and brought back her enthusiasm for learning. Sarah pitches the session well to keep my daughter's engagement and she looks forward to her lesson each week. Sarah is friendly, kind and has a lovely warm manner. Amazing support and understanding! I contacted Adele to organise tutoring for my daughter who is experiencing some personal challenges and currently outside of the education system. Adele was absolutely brilliant, as was Colette with whom I was put in contact with to arrange English tuition. Whilst we still have some challenges to overcome before my daughter is ready to start her tuition I felt compelled to write a review to acknowledge the wonderful support, advice and understanding offered by both Adele and Colette. My son was struggling early on at school so we approached Adele from Shropshire Tutor to see if she could provide him with support. She really helped to boost his confidence and helped him to recognise it's okay to ask for help and to have something explained again.

We were so pleased with Shropshire Tutor that our daughter went on to work with Adele and attended her 11+ sessions. Working through past papers with other children made her very relaxed about the exam format. We recently learnt that she gained a place at the grammar school and I'm confident that Adele helped make the difference.

Adele forms such strong bonds with the children and helps them to believe in themselves. My children were always excited to see her and didn't feel like they were in a lesson. I would whole heartedly recommend Shropshire Tutor.

My daughter attended Adele's 11 plus class on alternate Saturday's. She loved going to the lessons and would have gone every week if she could have! She passed the 11 plus exam and achieved highly in her SATs and fortunate to attend NGHS, which she loves. My daughter puts alot of her exam success down to the tutoring and motivation she received from 'Miss Adele'. I would definitely recommend.

Our daughter was lacking confidence in both Maths and English. I had no doubt in my mind, I knew who to contact. We met Adele when Miley was at nursery.
Adele has been fantastic and has been tutoring Miley for two years now. The change in Miley’s attitude and results has been outstanding. I highly recommend Shropshire tutor. Adele is completely professional, always reliable and always goes that extra mile. Throughout the pandemic, Adele has made the transition from face to face tutor sessions, to sessions via zoom really easy and Miley adapted no problem. In fact, it’s the highlight of Miley’s week to see Adele on the screen. Adele also carried out zoom sessions for my Son as there were some things he couldn’t quite understand when homeschooling. Literally, Adele to the rescue!
I can honestly say the delivery of these sessions is brilliant and worth the money. Adele has played a huge part in Miley’s confidence boost and ability to get the results she so desperately wanted. For this we are incredibly grateful. Thank you!

I first met Adele when my daughter attended her Little Learners lessons at nursery. My daughter loved these sessions and they really prepared her for starting school.
Adele then started tutoring my daughter on a one-to-one basis during the covid lockdown last year. Adele doesn’t “teach by numbers”, she gets to know the child and teaches based on the individual child’s abilities/needs and as such gains the child’s trust and friendship and achieves great results. My daughter loves her sessions with Adele and I would not hesitate to recommend Adele’s and Shropshire Tutor’s services.

Adele is amazing! We don't even li e anywhere near her but I would not hesitate to use her as a tutor for my 11 year old. She totally understands the level my daughter is at and has her completely engaged in the lesson from start to finish even to the point the lesson and learning continues to be discussed throughout the day!!

Adele has supported my son for a number of years and has always shown the highest levels of professionalism.
Her understanding of his learning style and adaptable approach to lessons makes the sessions fun and engaging. Considerable improvement had been seen in my son’s ability academically and in terms of increased confidence. I would highly recommend Shropshire Tutor, but most importantly so would my son and that’s what matters.

When my eldest child needed some practice on question styles for the 11+ exam, I naturally thought of Shropshire Tutor, having heard so many positive reviews of the service friends had received over the years. The Saturday tuition my son received was exemplary, fun for him and took away the stress of knowing what might be in the entrance exam when he took. He breezed through the exam as a result and passed. Job done! I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Shropshire Tutor should my children need more tuition in future.

Adele and her team at Shropshire Tutor have helped with my children as well as my niece.
My son attended lessons for his confidence leading up to his SATs and they really did help and he sailed through them with no anxiety that he previously had.
A few years later my daughter attended lessons which worked on the 11+ papers. Her primary school does not give additional help on what may appear in the papers and she had never even heard of Non Verbal Reasoning. She passed the test for NGHS and actually enjoyed the experience due to being prepared all to the thanks of Adele.
My niece has also received tuition for GCSE maths and her estimated grades have shot up.
As for the prices, research it. They are perfectly in line with tuition fees. And definitely well worth it. It’s not all about passing tests or being the quickest. It’s about giving your child confidence and positivity to face new challenges.

Adele is a fantastic tutor, we was extremely fortunate to have started with her just before lock down. Her continued support during the last year has been outstanding, ensuring our daughter did not fall behind.
She really knows how to engage with the children and bring out the best in them. I would 100% recommend her as a tutor.

There is nobody i would trust with my children's educational needs more than Adele. Adele is not a fair weather educator either she will stick by your child whenever they need her. My daughter was diagnosed with Dyspraxia in year 2, she put a total wall up for anything educational and was not engaging with teachers at all. Adele came to our rescue and reengaged her with a love for learning and prepared her for Stats which she absolutely nailed putting her in top sets for secondary school. The little girl with the pigtails who chatted incessantly has now turned into a competent Year 11 student. Her year 10 report showed high GCSE preditions across the board.. then Covid hit. Home learning was an issue and a crisis of confidence happened.. back to Adele and Shropshire tutor. We are now 4 weeks into tutoring and we've just received an email from the school saying Morgan is excelling in Science once again. Full confidence again in her own abilities and she's showing the teachers she deserves those high grades even if she doesn't sit examinations.
