Drastic price hikes and questionable "upgrades"
I’ve been using Shurgard Berlin for a year, and while the experience started well, it has become increasingly disappointing for long-term customers. I recently received notice of a 25% price increase (€12). While technically legal, this sharp hike feels very unfriendly to loyal clients.
Additionally, the new "App-only" entry system is a step backward. It’s a major risk if your phone dies or you have technical issues. I also feel much less safe now that the lift passcode has been removed; the security feels significantly downgraded compared to when I signed up. I am now looking at competitors to move my belongings.
