An absolutely five star service. Excellent staff, reassuring, vigilant very accommodating and offering a personalised service. as well as looking after customers organise practical things, they also look after them emotionally. Nothing was too much. Thank you very much.

I moved my items into Forest Hill storage recently. The day was already stressful, as it was a house move, the removal company were the main cause. When I arrived at Shurgard I was greeted by Kayla, who was kind and sympathetic to my situation. Kayla was very accommodating and supportive (listening to my rants). She ensured that everything was ok with my unit, which it was. I could not fault Kayla's customer service it was excellent.

Amazing customer service at the Forest Hill branch

Method stipulated by SHURGUARD 2 give notice of termination of contract difficult/ confusing & I found the 3wk time period too long.
7/14 days wld be more suitable & customers should be given a printed form to take away & complete to enable termination of contract.

Apart from this, I found the staff at the Forest Hill branch friendly & helpful.

Darren was so kind and helpful when I was in a panic for some last-minute storage! He spoke through everything really clearly so I knew what I was signing up to and gave me great advice on the size of storage I will need. 50/10 service :)

The staff at Forest Hill Shurgard are incredibly helpful and attentive! Darren has gone above and beyond in not only answering all of my questions and queries, but ensuring I have all of the necessary information ahead of taking out my storage unit. Everything has been fine but the light in the corridor near my storage space has not been fixed yet. It’s been already 10 days since I rented the space. It is such an inconvenience to use the space practically in dark.

Vanessa was very helpful, even though my dad made her walk 10 miles to find the right size storage. Incredibly patient and professional.

We recently moved our belongings from one storage unit to another at the Forest Hill, London location. Vanessa provided excellent service in advising how the process works and then with completing the process on their system. She was friendly, patient and polite throughout. Darren at the same office also provided really helpful advice.

Online instructions ask for all your details, get you to pay then tell you that you’ll get an email with your entry code, insurance details and contract.
That’s wrong. Instead you have to go in with photo ID and repeat the whole sign up exercise again in paper form. If you turn up without ID you are rejected and rudely dismissed with “it’s not my fault”. Wasted hours of my time.
