The perfect storage solution.
User friendly online registration and service, very helpful staff and extremely clean and spacious premises. The Units are exactly as described and with three large lifts, very easy accessible.

Hello, we are sorry to read you did not receive all the information on pricing you needed. Our on-site managers are available during office hours to answer any questions on storage and pricing. Unlike many other storage providers, all available units and prices are shown online, including our special offers.
The only extra costs new customers need to pay are a one-off administration fee and a unique sealed lock to your storage unit to guarantee no one else can access your belongings. Although all our facilities are fully insured, you still need to get an insurance to cover your stored items. Our rental prices can’t include this because the cost depends on the value of your goods. We are confident that the overall cost of your storage at Shurgard offers great value in the market and thank you for storing with us.

Very surprisingly the storage business is highly competitive. I spent a good while scanning the web and in most instances to get an idea of price, its a requirement to enter contact details - phone number and email etc; highly irritating and of course, within minutes, calls and emails asking if I’d secured storage, situation, bla bla bla. Anyway, Shurgard were the least expensive offering, excellent customer service by Reece when we visited to view, no need to enter contact details to get a quote and a fuss free, simple and easy transaction.

So far I’ve found the whole process…
So far I’ve found the whole process easy, the Gentleman behind the service desk, at the Maidenhead location, was very polite and very helpful, showing me where my locker was and explaining how to go about things.
I would use Shurgard again.

The storage is very clean
The storage is very clean, well set up, and (at the start) a competitive price.
Because it is a recent acquisition by Shugard, the instructions were pretty useless - there was no map, there is no access via the app - but I guess that is coming.

Wonderful staff members
We had the lovely carina help us at Maidenhead. She explained everything to us clearly, despite having a new computer system to work on which was playing up, she was great. Friendly, smiley and helpful she was a joy to deal with. The following day we returned and she showed us where to go etc etc, she is a credit to your company. Not forgetting Ben! he was equally as polite, helpful and attentive. Look forward to going back!
