Quality, affordability and design excellent. Simon was friendly, informative and very professional.
When the order arrived one of the shutters was missing, Simon was fully apologetic stating this was extremely rare and he installed a temporary black out blind in it’s place whilst rushing through a replacement order via air freight.
Highly recommended and what an addition to the house.

A great job from end to end. The shutters fit perfectly in awkward windows. The colour match is great. Alan was professional throughout and our neighbours are jealous.

Excellent, stylish shutters, well fitted. Communication along the way could have been better, hence four stars rather than five, but we are very pleased with the final result.

I found that dealing with Shuttercraft…
I found that dealing with Shuttercraft was far easier than my previous experience with another well known Company. I was treated with respect and made very welcome I got the impression that my business was important to them and even received a call from the owner of the company thanking me for trusting them with my business. The Engineer who came to take measurements and also fit the Shutters was both courteous and very friendly and it was obvious to me that he knew his job and got on with it to my complete satisfaction removing all their rubbish as they did their work. I cannot speak more highly of the company and in the future when I consider having further shutters I will look no further than Shuttercraft.

Lovely shutters but we could have used…
Lovely shutters but we could have used some better advice prior to installation.
1) about hinging and placement within the window recess to allow for opening the shutters back fully (we had discussed this with our advisor initially, but this seems to have been lost in translation further down the line).
2) the level of blackout provided in a bedroom, which just isn’t adequate for young children needing daytime naps in the summer. It would have been useful to know about an integrated blackout option then, or the possibility of retrofitting a blackout blind behind the shutter if needed, if we had the frame installed outside/ at the edge of the window recess, which there was sufficient depth for in this particular room.
Also it would be helpful to provide touch up paint for the shutters as a matter of course, to help keep it looking fresh down the line

Very pleased with the shutters, they look fantastic. It’s so easy now to control the light/privacy in each room. The fitters were professional, arrived early and did an excellent job. The communication from Shuttercraft Somerset was also excellent.
