DO NOT RENT A MOBILE HOME FROM SIBLU. Siblu is a private equity backed leisure business with only one aim, and that is to provide return for its shareholders. Their customer service is appalling, the La Pignade site is poorly maintained and they are ripping off the owners on site. Steer well clear and book with TUI, (they are superb). All comments above are made without prejudice!!
Early June is a good time to visit campsites in France because there are few, other visitors.
Le Lac, Siblu Villages is close to the lake Etang d’Aureihan. The caravans and motor homes are well spaced from each other and there are plenty of deciduous trees around the site. The showers and toilets are tired from age but are clean,probably because of lack of visitors but perhaps due to regular cleaning. However, there is an absolutely awful stink most of the time from the local paper mill factory. It is very dominant today. According to a French visitor the intensity of the stinking smell is due to the heavy cloud cover. But we would not have chosen this area if we had been forewarned.
