The handle on my coffee grinder stopped staying in place. I contacted Sigma Coffee UK and described the situation. They replied quickly, helped identify the problem, and offered a solution. They sent a replacement handle.
Of course, I had to pay for shipping since I live in Estonia. In addition, the parcel had to be declared, which also cost extra.
Overall, I’m satisfied. The handle fits perfectly. The finish is matte and it differs slightly from the original one.

I purchased a Df54 grinder as a Christmas present. Unfortunately after a couple of weeks of use, I had issues with terrible static and the chute kept clogging resulting in a constant mess, waste of locally sourced beans and poor results.
I followed the steps by not using RDT to avoid potential blockages and cleaned out the grinder as instructed, to find the the same thing happened repeatedly and sadly, it just wasn’t fit for purpose.
After reaching out to Sigma Coffee, I have to give them credit where it’s due. They are deserving of a great review, because although I had a poor experience with the Df54 grinder, their customer service was excellent.
They were apologetic, prompt at replying to my emails and quick at getting the issue resolved by providing me a full refund once the grinder had been sent back in the post.
I’d most definitely use them again and hopefully when I do, it will be something I won’t need to return.

I've bought a few things from Sigma now, including coffee and some expensive grinders, and the service has always been stellar.
Recently I bought a Lagom Casa grinder on pre order. It got dispatched around the time there was a site wide Black Friday sale. I got in touch with them about a retroactive discount and they honored it through in store credit (which I'll happily use on their international roaster coffee). They've been very communicative on any emails and queries I've sent - even replying on weekends!
Also they have some of the best prices around.

Super efficient had a couple of queries on grinders availability they answered within an hour and my order was shipped as well quickly especially given I ordered on a bank holiday. Also not sure if I was just lucky or sigma coffee themselves did it but the grinder did come calibrated out of the box which is great!

Outstanding service, used them for equipment and for lovely specialty coffee. Had a couple of questions regarding orders in the past which were answered immediately and extra measures taken by them, in order to make sure I received a great service.

Firstly, the selection of coffees is elite. You simply cannot find such interesting coffees anywhere else.
Secondly, the customer service is unparalleled. After making an error, Sigma were incredibly responsive and rectified my error immediately. You will not get this level of service anywhere else.

I ordered something on sale
I ordered something on sale. I wanted to order to Europe so I checked the FAQ and it said:
"We now have an EU Warehouse situated in Germany. To have your order shipped directly from the EU and skip import charges"
I placed my order in euros and then discovered... that it was being shipped from the UK... So I ended up paying an additional 35% of the checkout price in shipping, UPS import charges and VAT.
The price I paid with a 25% sale discount was higher than the standard price I could purchase the item on Amazon and have it tomorrow...
Apparently, if you want to order to Europe you need to go to a completely different sigma coffee Europe site. But everything was already in Euros so I thought I was already on that site. There is no information or warning on the checkout screen, it doesn't say it's being dispatched from the UK, no estimation of duties, no information about the extra UPS charges, you only find out when you get a notification you have to pay import duties. All the information is buried in small print on the FAQ screen.
I'm sure they are good for UK orders but very confusing and misleading if you are viewing the site from Europe.
Also, the coffee grinder 1Zpresso J-Ultra smells so bad. I think it's the rubber grip but it has a very strong chemical smell. I tried washing it but that didn't help. Whenever I use the grinder, my hands end up with this industrial smell. I have a Kingrinder K2 and that also has a rubber grip, but no bad smell.

Ghosted after return
Sent back a grinder, as I ordered the wrong color. Sent it back and after 5 weeks, I haven't seen my money back and can't get ahold of anyone.
Edit: They inadvertantly marked my issue as resolved, and my emails weren't getting through. They responded to this review though, and were helpful.

Customer service at Sigma is unmatched! I had the unfortunate experience of my grinder acting faulty after a few months of usage, the team was quick to respond to my email and suggest a solution. Very happy with my experience over all and will be recommending them to anyone interested.
My item never arrived and I didn’t get my refund
My coffee grinder never arrived and I reported it to them saying that it was return back to sender as per the tracking details and I never received a notification from the post on how I will pay for the import tax and how much. It was just sent back straight away. I initiate a refund but and I saw that the item was received back by them. After few days of waiting and emailing them for an update, they never bother to response. The service is very disappointing. I will just let the bank handle this.
I have reported this to my bank.
