Salvo explained everything very clearly…

Salvo explained everything very clearly and took his time to check every aspect of my bike. The difference is incredible and I am comfortable for the first time on my bike and I can feel I am more powerful cycling as I am finally in the correct position. Thank you so much Salvo. Worth every penny!

Bicycle fitting and consultation

Just had bicycle fitting and consultation with Sigma Sport. Salva was professional and systematic in finding my perfect fit. The difference in comfort between the stock settings vs my sweet spot was like chalk and cheese. Well worth the investment. My back, hip and knees will be thanking me for years to come.

Neal and co to the rescue

Went from despair to euphoria -- my lovely carbon bike was sadly stolen, but the folks at Sigma helped me recover by fitting me with a long-term replacement! Neal was great finding the right pick for me, and his colleagues kitted me out with the gear and gizmos. Top professionals.

Brilliant service

Brilliant service. I have been a long term customer of Sigma Sports. Always great service. I recently bought a bike from the Hampton Wick store and was super impressed with the service from the team, including Dom Jackson who was very patient and consultative throughout the whole process. Good day out!

I was greeted by a friendly member of the shop team who listened to what I wanted, showed me what was in stock and offered me the alternative of purchasing products on line if the ones I preferred were not available in store. My purchases ended up being a bit of both, plus an extra sale of bibshorts that I hadn’t intended to buy on the day. Good service!

Do not trust these people with ebikes

I ordered a £5000 Trek eBike from Sigma in December. I ordered from Sigma because I'd had excellent service previously.

The bike took a few weeks to arrive, no problem. The email came to let me know it was ready to collect. Hooray.

I made an appointment, and went to collect the bike. There were a number of small issues, all a bit weird really given the level of service you'd hope for, all of which indicated not that much care had gone into the bike's assembly. The front light was missing a part, the charger port was flapping around, the rainfly had a hole in it. These were all flagged, but minor enough to crack on.

Anyway, rode off home, and the next morning filled the bike with children as intended. 5 miles from home, the belt drive came off. A part which is meant to last for 10s of thousands of miles had managed less than 10. The belt drive had not been tensioned by Sigma, a staggeringly basic but critical element on an eBike to overlook.

A long walk home in the rain ensued. They arranged for the bike to be collected and sent back up to their repair hub in the north (they don't fix bikes in Kingston and closed the Esher depot).

Apologies came, and 2 weeks later it was ready to pick up again.

Off I went, and was presented with my freshly repaired bike, assured it was good to go.

Imagine my delight when on the road out of the shop I felt the front end vibrating as if I was riding through the Arenberg Forest. Back to Sigma I went. The headset was so loose it was bouncing around under light pressure. That was tightened, and off I went. This then caused steering cable issues which had the same symptom. Back to Sigma. Third time lucky, 2.5 hours after collecting the bike for the second time, I rode away without any immediate issues.

A £5000 bike. 2 days wasted on collection. Admission of fault and incompetence on all fronts. What do they offer? A £150 voucher, which they have now doubled.

They don't care about you, and they don't know what they're doing with complex bikes. Avoid if you can.

Thanks for leaving a second review of your experience, and I would like to take the opportunity to apologise once again for inconvenience that was caused to you and your family.

Throughout this I feel we really have tried to be as communicative, honest and fix the issues that arose as soon as we could. These we have now done and the bike is now in full working order and in a condition that we are both happy with.

We decided to give you a £300 voucher for the inconvenience that you have experienced, alongside fixing all the problems. Whilst we understand we should never have had to be in the position to have to continually fix these issues or have to offer you the voucher for the inconvenience, I do feel that we acted in good faith at all times, were professional throughout and worked as hard as possible resolve your issues. Throughout all of this admitting and owning our mistakes when they were made., and offering you a full refund at all points of the transaction.

I am disappointed that you feel despite all this you feel that we have not met your expectations, I hope that you find a retailer moving forward that can meet these expectations.

The whole SS team are first class

The whole SS team are first class. Their service and attention to the customer is second to none. I purchased new gravel bike from them in December 25, from order to handover, they were absolutely faultless and just brilliant to work with. Special thanks to Dom who was the main POC for me and my purchase, absolute superstar, incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, laser focused on the customer and ensuring everything is taken care of as you would want it to be. I couldn’t be more impressed and I’m not an easy person to impress at all! Ordering was simple, updates on delivery time and progress of build were spot on, delivery came in on time, collection and handover arranged effortlessly, the shop is awesome, the big day of handover was a great experience, SS do bike sales/service how it should be done, they set the benchmark, don’t hesitate to buy from them. Big kudos to Dom and the whole team, thank you for a terrific buying experience.

Great customer service

Salvo really helped me get a proper bike fit for a future iron-distance triathlon - and he also went the extra mile helping me sort a situation with my bike. All the staff I've dealt with at Sigma have been very helpful and knowledgeable.

Coolest bike shop

Sigma sports has a wide range of products competitively priced. I placed an online order for a track pump, oil &wax based lubes along with a combi tool which was ready for pickup within 3 hours. Staff at the Hampton Wick store were friendly, polite and very engaging when I enquired about the new reserve gravel wheel set.

I had my bike serviced today

I had my bike serviced today. Easy to arrange at a time that was good for me. We agreed what parts needed replacing before hand. The work was completed on time to a high standard and the bike was as good as new again. It’s only what I’ve come to expect from Sigma at Hampton Wick - friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Great experience from beginning to end.

Great experience from beginning to end.
I visited the store on a number of occasions whilst researching, spec'ing and fitting my Madone. Worked with a number of the staff with the final fit and recommendations being carried out by Neal who could not have been more helpful as he took me through the bike. The power meter I needed wasn't in stock but this was ordered and quickly dispatched.

Great customer service

Great customer service. I’ve recently purchased an SL8 and had a number of requested to change a few stock items to better suit my needs. Joe and the customer services team could not have been more help and very generously in their cost appraisal of what I wanted to achieve. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend, especially if you are a bit of a cycling nerd like me!
