I had no reception in my house, do to construction materials. I now can hold a conversation .

We have a vacation house in the woods on the Suwannee River and the cell phone reception is marginal. We only get 3G with one bar signal strength and streaming video is impossible. Even Facebook only works occasionally. I bought the 4G Weboost signal booster and it is fantastic. We now get 4G with 4 or 5 bars signal strength. Using the cellphone as a wi-fi hotspot we can now watch live TV. Of course we have to be careful with the data usage. Everything on the internet now works great. I bought the booster that is good for basically one room, but it is all I need.

You have to follow the installation instructions carefully. The small inside transmitter antenna can NOT be aimed at the receiving antenna. I used two free apps on my cellphone to help in the installation. One shows the direction of the strongest cell tower signal, which made it very easy to aim the antenna in the right direction. Another app that help was a much more detailed signal strength indicator.

If the phone does not go from weak 3G to strong 4G, put the phone in Airplane mode and then take it off of Airplane mode. This will force the phone to search for the boosted signal. This works every time for me.

Very quick shipping. Easy to install. Signal strength definitely much stronger. Dropping calls still a little bit of a problem however.

I tried the signal booster in three windows, facing in three different directions but my cell phone continues to show a phone receiver with a red line through it. This was my second attempt to get a signal at my home and I just don't believe it is possible. I will be returning the WeBooster but you shouldn't base your decision on my experience. I am in a unique location only one house removed from the giant Georgia Power overhead lines and no one here is able to get cell phone service.

The booster gives me 4-5 bars in the immediate proximity of the booster. Without it I only get two. However, a couple months after first using for the booster, it sometimes stops working. Seems to be heat related. The light goes from green to red when this happens.

If I elevate the booster by rolling a pencil under one end of it, it seems to work better. The booster is placed on a wooden shelf, not near a heater, etc. The ambient temperature in the room remains pretty close to 70 degrees F.
