I had to contact the pharmacy and was…
I had to contact the pharmacy and was told I had been contacted about a delay in sending medications as one was not in stock and an answerphone message had been left but there was no answerphone message. I made it clear my preferences for how I would then like to then proceed but the person/people I spoke to and/or emailed with I felt were not being completely honest, I had to press forcefully to get the outcome I finally did which was to instead take the prescription to my local pharmacy but even when I did that I needed to call Signature again to sort out an issue so the pharmacy I went to in person could process the prescription.

At Signature Pharmacy, we take responsibility for your order from the moment it is placed until it is safely delivered, and we sincerely apologise that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We would also like to clarify our next working day delivery service. Orders placed before our 4:00pm cut-off are eligible for next working day dispatch. As your order was placed at 4:00pm on 8th July, it fell outside this cut-off and was therefore processed on the next working day, with delivery following thereafter. We appreciate that this may not have been clear at the point of purchase, and we're sorry for any confusion or disappointment this caused, particularly given the discomfort you were experiencing.
