Misrepresentation

I am sure there are many fine apartments that this company may represent but not the one that I rented for $10,000.00.
First there was no view other than looking at other peoples apartments. Their website showed otherwise.
The bedroom and bathroom were lovely, however, the kitchen and living room were so crowded that there was zero walk space. The oven door and the dishwasher door were blocked by opening because of what they call their dining table (a bistro table for two) that had to be moved every time. The living room had a couch that would make you back ache and about 8 inches of space between the cocktail table and the edge of the couch. The same on the other side where the least expensive television set (Vizio) was positioned. It is a nice way to practice walking sideways to get to the window or AC unit. I complained. They acknowledged. They finally send someone to confirm what I was saying and this kid, with zero knowledge of what he was there for, totally agreed with me. I expected something in return. An apology even. Instead I received a letter stating that this is a typical square footage of an apartment in Manhattan and that closed the envelope for them. I would have been better off at a hotel in a mini suite with a couch and an efficiency kitchen. At least I would have been able to have had a business meeting or entertain my friends and family. Save your money and don't give it to them. As far as you are concerned at Silverdoor, you may want to consider getting yourself a better decorator and photographs that actually represent the space that you rent. If you were a member of a Real Estate Board your license would be pulled. Further, if you were in the same state I would have taken you to court. You are cowards, liars and greedy and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

The quote and listing you received - and agreed to - states "The photos are representative of the apartments within the building but may not be of the specific apartment allocated for your stay. Apartments sizes, furnishings and standards can vary."

I'm aware you've been in communication with our team, who have tried to provide you with options and help you find a unit you are more happy with; I'm sorry we have been unable to resolve this to your satisfaction.

In reviewing your communication with our team, I am unable to find where you specified what unit size you needed, or a description of the intended use of the space (i.e. business meetings/guests). Our team is trained to provide personalized options and, had you shared your intended use for the space, would have been happy to suggest an appropriate unit size based on this.

In New York City, as you are no doubt aware, the units are smaller on average than other cities in the US and for larger units the price point increases. We do always try to manage new visitors' expectations in this regard however, you advised our team you were familiar with this building (hence why you chose it) and the building has this unit floor plan listed on their website as a 1-bedroom.

I do also see in your communications with our team that you had rearranged the furniture differently from the way it was when you arrived to the unit, when it was not blocking operation of the kitchen appliances; it was rearranged in a way that obstructed use.

I really am truly sorry that you were not 100% satisfied with your experience. Our team remains available to discuss this further directly with you if you would like. You have our direct contact details, and we'd welcome the opportunity to reach a mutually agreeable solution with you.

Terrible experience

We rented an apartment in Seoul for nearly a month and the property was nothing like the info / pictures we were provided. The building is in desperate need of renovation, the furniture is stained, pots/pans are dented, dishes provided had dried food on them. We were moved into another unit after a week but the problems continued - foul odor in bathroom, mosquitos in room, stained couch.
It is clear that SilverDoor does not do the proper due diligence before promoting a property. I would recommend that anyone considering a rental avoid this company

5 stars well deserved and would give more if possible

Working with Henry is a breeze, he is responsive and easy to work with. The rooms he picked for us are very comfortable and we feel like we're in an actual hotel room. He also provided transportation for us coming from the apartment going to the office. 5 stars well deserved and would give more if possible.

A 5 start service

Gabriela and the team has been proactive in their communication and very quick to respond to questions and recently to faulty equipment in the bathroom. they sent an agent to change the faulty equipment (wire/cable) within 24hour of the request and kept me up-to-date of the development. Amazing Team, Great Service

We have been working with clients in the middle east and needed to get quality accommodation, transport to our client offices and airport transfers arranged within very tight timelines.

Oliver and Michelle were incredibly responsive, found amazing accommodation and were incredibly patient given the changes to our timelines and requirements.

Great, helpful service

I found dealing with this company great, very quick responding, had some urgent issues and were very quick with resolving etc.
I dealt with multiple people however, they all knew the status of the bookings, there were no confusion.

Amazing agent

My agent,Leah Wilson ,helped me resolved getting out of an apartment that did not correspond to the website description and arranged for me to move in a gorgeous apartment so I could focus on my job during the 3 weeks when I was in Maidstone ,UK.
At all the time Leah was attentive, proactive, respectful ,very polite, efficient.
She kept the communication opened and she responded in short while to all my emails.
Because of my work I travel often in the last 10 years and I can say that Leah was one of the best agents I dealt with regarding the serviced apartments.

Michele Gargiulo is the best!

I had a lovely stay supported by Silverdoor during my relocation process to London. Michele Gargiulo was the biggest help I could ask for, so kind and so gracious with me throughout the whole process and its changes. Very solution oriented and extremely proficient throughout the whole process. 10/10!
