Simba Car Hire Reviews 

I went through a third party to hire a car, due to mine being off the road at present.
When I went to pick up the car (driving 1.5hrs into town to collect)
I was informed I would need to pay $1000 instead of the quoted $500 bond, due to being a local!
They wouldn't accept cash, for the bond, so had to race to the nearest atm to get the money into an account. They already had my card details as I'd paid for the car with my card, so they had my details.
But that wasn't all....
I paid for 7 days rental at $350 via a 3rd party website.
I had to extend for another week, and was told it would be $700 non negotiable!
I have never ever had my 2nd week OR the actual company be more expensive, let alone twice as expensive. I was shocked!
But over a barrel, so paid the money.

I have since gone elsewhere, and found everything completely different, much easier, smoother process and alot cheaper for a newer car!

I took advantage of a great deal to rent a small car for the weekend and found the booking online simple to complete. Picking up the car was also easy, made so with the help of a female agent who was clear on the details I needed to know and offering options when required. Her helpfulness and friendliness made for a nice experience.

Our driver from the Sydney airport was great, very friendly and a nice all round person. The counter staff were lovely at the Simona branch and we have no trouble using your wonderful service again, and again. The cost for rental was fantastic for our 5 day stay as well. This was my first ever time hiring a car, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Simba Car Hire!
I’d just finished months of training for a bodybuilding competition and when I picked up the car I was running on about 4 hours of sleep, barely any food and some serious brain fog 😂 The gentleman who served me was incredibly patient, kind and helpful. I felt terrible having to ask him to explain a few things to me in simpler terms, but he never made me feel silly or rushed. He took the time to make sure I understood everything and completely put my mind at ease.
Once I was on my way, I had SO much fun with the car! It was in great condition, super comfortable and made getting around Brisbane so easy.
What stood out most was how genuine the customer service felt. A little patience and kindness can make such a difference, especially when someone is tired and overwhelmed, and I really appreciated it.
I would 100% recommend Simba Car Hire and will definitely be using them again next time I need a hire car. Thank you for making my first car hire experience such a positive one!

The ease of pick up and getting the vehicle, the young lady was really welcoming, the car was great ,the only glitch(for me was the navigation system wasn't easily readable )so I use Android auto then it was great,,thank you for great service, Kevin.

Relatively easy to hire and return. Value was good. Car standard could have been better when handed over ie poorly washed and interior wasn’t as clean as I expected.

Good and clean car, prompt pickup and drop off, terrible infant car seat and toddler booster seats. The infant seats and toddler booster seats were old, worn out, unsafe and uncomfortable for my kids.

Clear instructions for pick up and drop off. Transfers were efficient. Price was excellent.
