I originally bought my Midronome in 2023 and it has been working flawlessly since. Very well-organized shipping process, the developer is very responsive and was very helpful when I encountered a minor problem. There is a very well organized and supportive forum for all questions. The developer is very committed to adding new features and improving the device even further.

The Nome II works like a charm!! Got it a couple of days now and it solved a lot of problems I had. Only need a workaround for the use of the vst‘s for the digitakt and digitone (overbridge).

The midronome ("Nome I") is at the heart of my synth studio.

It's a solid build and very enjoyable piece of kit.

The level of dedication and attention to detail seen when following the early product development was quite impressive, and it's no surprise then that the product quality is so good.

It has made my life so much easier to perform live, syncing all my sequencers and drum machines , the best part to ableton! Without a hitch! What a nightmare it was otherwise!

I've been an early adopter and on the beta testing team for a long time. Simon's enthusiasm and focus on customer service is second to none, in my experience. Frequent firmware updates with great new features, and a hardware box which is built like a tank and leaves a small footprint. I rely on my 'Nome to sync my modular system and MIDI gear to Logic Pro, and thanks to this device everything integrates with laser accurate timing. Can mix and match plugins and hardware with no annoying latency offsets. A very happy customer here, and pleased to give Sim 'n' Tonic full marks!

Works great, the latest firmware with the U-Sync app, made me use Reaper again and offset the clock to align my hardware, to the audio with 0 fuss.

Aa solid and reliable product with a lot of potential. The product owner is dedicated to the product and its customers. It is open and listens to the user's suggestions for new functionalities and implements them. The owner advises users and helps them use the product. I finally found a product that meets my needs.

I’ve had the original Midronome (now Nome) since the first batch was shipped in April 2023. After nearly 2 years of heavy usage across varying applications, the device still seems good as new! In fact, it’s continually improved because of excellent and intuitive updates.

This MIDI clock is so unrelentingly accurate and dependable that it’s earned permanent real estate on my guitar pedalboard— quite a precious commodity. Not only that, but because I use the Nome instead of the clock in my MIDI controller, it earned additional real estate for a MIDI router device and routing setup. All this to say: The Nome has earned its place, and it’s here to stay!

I can’t recommend the Nome enough! As a true gear head, it’s among my absolute favorite pieces of equipment. I’ve been blown away by some of the things I’ve been able to accomplish with it, particularly with the U-SYNC feature.

Simply put, U-SYNC allows you to sync the Nome to a DAW while recording. For this application (using Logic Pro), I was introducing both inboard and outboard time-based effects, tracking individual loops from an external multitrack looper, and recording additional tracks on top of it all — and everything remained perfectly synced the entire time!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This lovely company stepped in and provided a solution to an issue synthesists (and anyone reliant on midi clock) have wrestled with for years. As an early backer of the project, I cannot be more pleased, or impressed, with the progress that has been made, and easily consider it to be one of the most important tools in the toolshed.

More-over, the personal and formal communication back/forth between Simon and the user community that has developed has been top-notch. Feels a bit like a family.
