Solar charger replaced 3 times and still haven't gotten one that works
We have had 3 cameras with solar chargers that have worked flawlessly for 3 years. Six months ago we bought a new camera and solar charger. The camera works fine but we are on the third solar charger replacement and none of them have worked!! Ready to trash the whole thing!!

SimpliSafe. is not what it used to be. Equipment is not as good, help has deteriorated and the system attempts to be more sophisticated than it is capable of esp as a DIY system. The system and company need a re-setting Maybe it has become too big and complex.
On the positive side, the few times I have interacted with the monitoring people, they have been fine.

We’ve been using SimpliSafe for nearly 20 years. The system is cellular based. As local cell networks updated/upgraded they sent compatible equipment to ensure seamless transitions. Customer service hasn’t lacked. So pleased with the years of service, when asked about a new system for a recommendation the answer was immediate.

None of their phone numbers work…
None of their phone numbers work anymore. You can't call anyone. It appears they want to take care of you only through AI or chat. After wasting a lot of time on chat with someone (after I got the AI chat to finally get me to a human) and them giving me more numbers to call (that didn't work), they finally took my number and told me someone would call me today......they didn't! I guess I need to find a better company.

Cameras are always loosing connection
Cameras are always loosing connection. When I try to view camera live it cuts out and goes offline. This is extremely frustrating especially when an alert is triggered. There are many other systems out there that are less in price and better functionality.

Technology is so far behind everyone else. Takes 10-15 seconds to pull up a camera live. Terrible. Only thing that was good was it was cheap. Not so much anymore. Stick with Ring.

Great experience with Roger T.
Roger T. assisted me tonight and he was so helpful. I was making jokes like I was working out a comedy routine but he didn’t mind, nor did he give laughs for not very good jokes so he kept me honest. But truly, he was so helpful when one product of mine didn’t work, no matter what we tried, he had a new one shipped out to me, arriving in— at most— a business week. We both work in tech assistance so we had a nice easy understanding of each other. I think the app and the setup for SimpliSafe is truly user-friendly, and I believe it was a fluke that this particular item had a malfunction. I told him I might recommend it to my mom and I think she could set it up herself! Once we got the replacement sorted out, Roger stayed on to make sure I got the last piece set up properly, the entry. I asked if I could speak with his supervisor to say how great his help and expertise was but no one was available. Hoping they will see this. I wish I could speak to Roger for any future calls. He was so professional, patient, and kind, but he also got me fixed up in hardly any time at all. Thank you, Roger!

I've been with SimpliSafe for over 5 years now and appreciate the service they provide whether it's just a question about changing a battery, why I'm no longer hearing my doorbell, to my alarms going off or sensors not functioning properly.

The customer service help with issues of learning and understanding the system and how it functions has been fairly smooth, but such issues are typical with a new company dealing with growth. I've had a few frustrating experiences of product not functioning as intended or expected, but those were resolved with reasonable speed.

I had packages stolen from my front door ad I was unable to view footage for that day so I called SimpliSafe for help. I received the WORST customer service ever. The rep wanted to know how I was sure that they were stolen since I had no footage. I gave him a detailed response and he kept asking again and again. I demanded to speak with someone else,maybe a supervisor and he refused. Eventually he hung up on me and I tried 3 times to call back but the automated system kept me in a loop. I am about to cancel...
