Everything about Simply Bamboo has been great. Wayne was really helpful when I talked to him about the products and sent a number of samples quickly with no problems. Once we had ordered the products we wanted, they turned up quickly and on the day we wanted due to a house move. We also had to order some additional accessories and again Wayne was really helpful and went out of his way to give us some recommendations and advice.

I received a great service from Simply Bamboo, from receiving a range of samples promptly to a no-hassle ordering and delivery service. The flooring is perfect for the Japanese cottage I am renovating and will suit all the rooms including the bathroom. When one of the packs of flooring was damaged in transit - as happens - a quick phone call and follow up email with a photo elicted a replacement with no quibbles and it arrived within 2 days.

Wayne at simply bamboo gets what it is to be customer focussed, he’s helpful, professional and actually cares even after he’s been paid. The bamboo flooring is beautiful to look at and tough and resilient; the fitters I used loved the clic-lock system and found it easy to work with unfortunately it is tough and resilient and a few saw blades were used during the installation; this is by no means a complaint just a fact.
Wayne is brilliant and couldn’t be more professional, he makes sure everything is right; in my instance there had been a mix up with a few of the skirting boards and he made sure that it was rectified promptly at his expense; proper old-school customer service and satisfaction.
I cant recommend simply bamboo highly enough, if you want quality and beautiful flooring with first rate customer service simply bamboo is all you need. And I haven’t even mentioned how affordable it is.

The men who installed my floor said it was an absolute delight and one of the easiest installation jobs they've ever had due to how seamlessly the planks slot together. They were able to get my whole flat done in just 2 days as a result!

I've just finished laying 35 sq mtrs of your Coffee Engineered Solid Strand Woven Uniclic (BB-SWCCL) . It was a dream to work with and the finished product looks fantastic. Hence this brief note to say thank you to Simply Bamboo for the quality of the product, the on-time delivery, the advice given and the all round superb customer service.

We were thrilled with our Dark Coffee bamboo floor, so much so that we also made some bookshelves out of the leftovers. We think the photos online don't do it justice - there is a beautiful richness and complexity, with lighter golden strands among the dark. The fitters said it was the best they had worked with. In fact they took photos and we gave them your details, so they could recommend you to future clients. The service this company offers is also outstanding - instant helpful responses to any needs or queries.

I received my samples in a timely way and then spoke on the phone to confirm availability and delivery time of my chosen proiduct and confirm a couple of technical details, including advice on underlay.
I ordered about 60m2 of boards for my flat, which were delivered on time.
The flooring is absolutely beautiful. My fitter was so impressed with the quality, ease of fitting and gorgeous finish. I absolutely love my new floors and highly recommend Simply Bamboo.

An excellent product that looks great when laid. Backed up by first rate service from the minute I contacted the company to final delivery.

The flooring is simply stunning. I have refurbished 8 houses and laid many wood engineered flooring but this was easy to lay and with an instant effect of quality. Simply Bamboo, go the extra mile to accommodate your needs. Give excellent advance and keep to what they promise. If there is a delay in the product being available, they warn you when ordering and actually give an ETA. Delivery was timely although interesting. My flooring chap was so impressed with the quality of the product and is going to lay it in his own home. I am actually using the left overs to do my WC which Wayne has advised will be ok.

Just had to leave a good review for simply bamboo excellent communications throughout the purchase and more purchases of bamboo flooring the quality was outstanding scratch resistant definitely almost Unscratchable ! Superb Sheen finish wonderful to handle and work with so pleased we chose this company and they helped us throughout until the end of the total fix despite problems on our behalf they continued to help and guide us until completion highly recommend ! I double Philip White's review from January. The floor is beautiful and feels solid, but only 1 year on since fitting it and we have noticed similar issues, but instead of humidity, ours has dried and shrank so much we can now see under the skirting boards and keep having to push the floor boards together where big gaps have started appearing. The floors have only been fitted in our sitting room and hallways so far, which are all open plan so there is no humidity fluctuation. Our floorboards are also coated in a non-slip coating, which scratch and chip so easily that makes me find the 'hard-wearing'discription quite inappropriate. Such a shame. We spent months researching flooring that is sustainable, affordable and long lasting, so we are very disappointed with these issues. We have also learnt from our builder that we aren't the only ones, so I'm very reluctant to finish our remaining rooms with the same floor.

Great 14mm coffee medium, strand woven, boards for bathroom. Very happy with them and the efficient service. Not cheap but high quality. Now awaiting 2nd order delivery.

We've had over 80 square metres of strand woven bamboo flooring from Simply Bamboo, and it's been down for over 5 years now.

First the positives: Their strand woven bamboo flooring is good value and pretty tough. We have it in a holiday let and even after 5 years the living room floor really doesn't have any scratches or dents. If they have sufficient quantity of the flooring you want (phone them to check) then it turns up pretty quickly, and delivery is free on orders over £500 (ex VAT).

Now the negatives: Despite the company's statement that the floor boards have "an all-around finish, which makes each floorboard resistant to moisture and humidity" we've had significant problems with discolouring, warping, and rippling in reaction to humidity and moisture. Where someone put a wet dog bowl on the floor, and someone with wet feet walked out of the bathroom the boards are now permanently dark, and have a distorted rippled surface texture. Where the flooring goes behind the skirting and there's an uninsulated run of wall (to around 6" above ground level) it has attracted condensation and again badly discoloured and rippled. All of this seems to be down to the fact that the bamboo is compressed into some sort of resin base which absorbs and retains moisture. We have a couple of spare bamboo floorboards which have been left in a dry shed since the floor was laid, and those are now dark and covered in mould, unlike offcuts of untreated pine alongside them. Although the company states that the substrate should have a moisture content of 1.8% or less, that doesn't help when it comes to either atmospheric humidity (often up to 80% here in winter), or the effect of moisture left on the surface.

When contacted about the problem we had the usual defensive response along the lines of "we've sold loads of this for years and no-one else has ever had a problem".

Worse still it turns out that the flooring which we bought 5 years ago is no longer sold by the company, so now we can't even do a like for like replacement. Bear that in mind - if you do buy their flooring then get a lot more than you really need and store it somewhere dry as it's quite likely you won't be able to buy the same product again if you need to do any repairs.

Ordered samples from various places and the sample from simply bamboo was the closest to the colour i was after, i phoned my order in and was told the price on the site was wrong and there was an increase due to brexit so ended up paying more per metre but paid the extra as it was the closest colour match i'd found, when it was delivered the delivery guy was great, i opened a box and checked the colour, it was different shade to the sample, the sample was darker and this was a warmer colour, rather than being a close match i would say it was an very very close match to what i wanted, which was to match with the original wood in the house, so i was happy to sign for the delivery,
i unpacked all the boxes, the planks have padding between them and then a wrapper around them all, i started stacking them in a lattice to let them acclimatize to the house, as i was unpacking i noticed most of the boards were bowed severely, so i put the bowed bit to the top and the next planks over to push down the spring and help with keeping them in shape, also i noticed on the boxes, some were 1830mm long and some 1860mm long, as i was planning on doing a 1, 2/3, 1/3 pattern this didn't help things, in total i left the planks for over 3 months until they were dried out and flattened enough, some of the widths weren't quite spot on so when fitting it was a case of trial and error to get the best fit, looks great when finished, took a lot of figuring out of different sized boards to get my pattern but very happy with the look, i started the hunt for skirting and with getting samples then ordering the skirting it took a while, i noticed the bamboo had expanded and was a lot closer to the walls when i had previously left enough gap with cork spacers, i would say it had expanded over 10mm so i trimmed each side as it was far to close and was squashing the spacers, i've fitted the skirting and its been over a year since fitting the bamboo and i would say you can see the expansion and contraction of the wood in the seasons, in the winter when i have my stove on or central heating it contracts and on some boards the joint shrinks and i can get my thumb nail in and the boards creak when walked on, and in the summer it expands more and i worry just how far its expanding
my house is in the shade and i went for bamboo as i'd read its more stable with temperature and humidity changes, i would say this is not the case and i wouldn't buy bamboo again, i use the bona floor cleaner each week but it is really annoying to find scratches on the floor, again another reason i chose bamboo and i'd read it was good against scratches.
a lot of work to get to where i am but the floor does look good when i walk in the room, i wish it wasn't so easy to scratch and was more stable, time wll tell
maybe the bamboo manufacturing process is better now as it has been over a year since i bought my flooring?
