They make it very hard to stop auto renewal….
I’ve been a client of SB for one year but the renewal price increase was too much, so I met my needs from elsewhere.
The real difficulty came when I tried to prevent the auto renewal that had been set up automatically when I purchased the policy originally. Unlike their competitors, there is no option to click to deactivate auto renewal. The instructions were to reply to the renewal email or to call them. I tried both but got no answer to either so I called my card provider to stop any attempt to collect payment.
I have chased up but still have no email response from renewal support or customer services after some weeks.
Yesterday I received notification from SB that a renewal payment has been collected, though my card provider has assured me it will not be paid. It does however reduce my card headroom by several hundred pounds until this is sorted out.
Based on this experience I certainly wouldn’t do business with this firm again.

Always good help. You can literally go through all of the services and arrange it yourself or speak to a member of staff on the phone to talk you through everything. Loads of different quotes and prices to go through.
