Service was good in terms of delivery…

Service was good in terms of delivery and communication. However the quality of the products are not good. Bought a very expensive crushed diamond mirror in October 2023 and the black paint is already starting to come off from around the border. Contacted customer services and they were very unhelpful. Lovely looking products however they are overpriced and the quality of materials used are very poor.

Hi Farzana, thanks for the review. We did speak to you about this at the time. All of our mirrors' backs are professionally sprayed 3 times and therefore the paint doesn't just come off. The only way this could have happened is that it's been rubbed or scraped fairly consistetly for the last 8 months that it's been in your possession.

Purchased a crystal mirrored chest of…

Purchased a crystal mirrored chest of draws, the piece is stunning. Well made and solid. The delivery was swift and the drivers were happy to place it in the chosen room. They unpacked the chest and throughly inspected it to ensure it was in perfect condition. The experience was very good and I would not hesitate to use this company again as they have spectacular furniture. Thank you

Terrible

Bought 2 x white mirrored chests in sept 2023 costing £800
Within 3 weeks one had broken on 2 runners so 2 drawers couldn't use them
Got a replacement and as of today
4 drawers on the replacement and 3 on the other chest don't work.
Clearly a design flaw. T

Poor and dishonest service

Bought a marble table and was assured it would be delivered in a week. Long and short is, this turned into 3 months with SimplyHome feeding me lies upon lies as to why there was a delay. When I asked for a refund I would be told delivery would be in the next 7 days. Lo and behold, the tqble would not be delivered. It took me threatening to request a charge back from my bank to finally have the table delivered. Absolutely awful. I would hqve preferred an honest approach.

Absolutely amazing company

The first fireplace that came was smashed and Simply home was amazing my new fireplace arrived unscathed 3 days later...I spoke with James and he promised to have one out by the following Friday but it arrived much sooner...this company are extremely professional and so caring...thank you so much...I will definitely be shopping with you again

Don't bother

Ordered white glass mirrored dressing table. Was lovely, very heavy. You'd think it was heavy duty but no. Cracked within 2 months later on top glass panel.
Emailed to see if I could get any help. Email ignored for a week. I chased and got a reply asking for pictures. I sent pictures. Another week goes by. I chase again to be told I'm out of the returns policy. I appreciate that but you don't expect an item that expensive to crack so easily. I replied asking about warranty and guess what? Once again NO REPLY.
Completely useless company very bad customer service.
I don't doubt there are good products but customer service matters.

The funniest thing is last week I got an email to review the item. My review wasn't approved.

You ignored my last email, you did not suggest anything to me and there are other reviews saying they also got ignored in email. This is bad service, I shouldn't have to chase for a reply.
Why can you reply to a 1 star review instantly but not an email.

Good morning Lyndsey. Many thanks for your review however I’ve got to be honest, our items are extremely well built and don’t ’suddenly crack’. We sell thousands of mirrored furniture pieces every single month with very few issues whatsoever. All items come with a 12 month manufacturer warranty but this doesn’t cover accidental damage which this falls into the cstagory of. If we replaced every item that a customer accidentally damaged, we wouldn’t have a business.

I’m sorry that you’ve felt the need to put a 1* on our Trust Pilot, which is flooded with 5* reviews. We do a great job on the whole and will help wherever possible. We go the extra mile for our customers and have even suggested local glaziers to you that you can take the item to where they should be able to fix it for you. I do hope you see where we’re coming from in this instance and again I do want to apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Ordered the Frankie Bed and we are so…

Ordered the Frankie Bed and we are so happy with our purchase. Our expectations were high but the quality and level customer service we received was second to none!!!
Will definitely recommend Simply Home and we will be returning to place another order.

Dreadful after sales

Dreadful after sales. Item was delivered but the delivery driver took the box which contained the screws to actually put together the table, and one of the mirrored legs were cracked and broken. Contacted the company within an hour or two of delivery, when I moved the items that the delivery driver had unboxed. Was told item was not broken on arrival and photos had Been taken, presumably taken showing the cracked side facing down, and that the screws would be delivered. Chased and chased for delivery of screws, no screw surfaces. I now have a broken table in pieces as nothing to assemble it and a cracked mirrored leg. Customer services seem to ignore my emails. Promised replacement screws two weeks ago, still nothing. I’m making a money claim tomorrow with the court for a refund since I’m being ignored by the company. Buyer beware!!!

*** note that the seller has responded to this comment and seems to imply they replaced the item. They didn’t. They refused. The sent screws to put the broken table together. Very different. So just want to ensure transparency

Simply Home - Poor after sales Service

I ordered an Olivia Retangular  wall mirror Order # 1528 back in April 2023. After renovations my mrrior was wall mounted ready for Christmas.
I love it, but unfortunately it looks like 3 jewels are missing I've attached  pictures ( if I can to this review) to which I have duly submitted to Simply Home uk back in December.
I have had email contact with a lady called Charmaine who last made contact on 2 January with the reply. She checked with the Team (and they obviously don't want to know), saying 'the mirror is designed to have holes'. It is definitely faulty as every family member mentioned it at Christmas!!
It is important to note, I'm not asking for a new mirror but purely asking can you provide me with 3 jewels to place in the round faulty holes provided. I have even asked where I can source these jewels and am happy to pay, but to no available.
To date, she has not responded. This is my first time ordering on line and I definitely would never do it again I'm so so disappointed.

Hi Jo, many thanks for the review. What I would say is contacting any company 8 months after a purchase to raise an issue would be out of any respective companies’ returns policy. I’d urge you to ensure you check any purchases as soon as you receive them. Regarding the mirror, it is designed to have a few holes dotted around the edge to show the wall it’s hung on aswell as crystals. We don’t carry spare crystals unfortunately but if you look at the photos on the website, some do show these small holes and it is part of the design. Spare crystals won’t actually help fill the holes as there’s nothing to stick the crystal to.

Regarding your comment about knowone getting back to you, Charmaine was still trying to find and locate some form of solution to help you out but unfortunately it just won’t work anyway. The mirror is still a very beautiful mirror and a best seller - I’m sorry you’ve found the design to be an issue some 8 months after purchase. I purchased a crushed diamond tv unit, I am sooo glad I went ahead with the purchase, what a beautiful addition to my living room. The pictures on there website does not do it justice, absolutely stunning, I would recommend this company to family and friends they are very cost effective and a helpful company so thank you Simply home I will be purchasing with them again ❤️😍😍
