Terrible services. I used Simpson Millar for my conveyancing, paying more than the market rate, hoping to receive better services, but the entire experience was a nightmare. The conveyancer does not reply to emails or answer calls. The so-called document they prepared is just a template and they won't even check it properly, and contain a land registry link to an Italian website. Their legal assistant cannot even draft an email without making loads of spelling mistakes. You are not even sure what they were writing. The financial statements have to amend a couple of days, and I am not even sure whether it is correct. To make things worse, they even lost my passport, when I specifically asked them to send it by courier, tracked and signed, but they think it is a good idea to send it by royal mail. Avoid their firm at any cost to save yourself from these troubles. I am taking this issue to a legal ombudsman and complaint to the SRA.

I have used Simpson Millar twice now and the last time my point of contact was Chris Fairhurst.
I found Chris great with his advice and recommendations. My case was tricky but the price was reasonable despite this.
Chris was responsive both on email and phone and i would 100% use them again.
