Placed an order that sat pending for 18 days after my CC was charged. After several attempts to get an answer, I was informed my item was on a back order. While I understand back order delays are often unavoidable, the lack of communication to share this information is unacceptable.

$30+ for shipping one bottle (and 10 times your charge for a separately-shipped identical bottle) is ridiculous and then you try to get us to buy insurance from you for damage in shipping for more than market when you should have the insurance guarantee from the shipper. Also your prices for the cognac were $30-50 higher than from other reputable dealers.
