we were welcomed with a smile and most efficiently guided thru the rental e-paperwork for our 5-days SUV booking. Car was available as booked, prompt, in fine condition and clean. no issues with the car while travelling. return process was equally fast and friendly.

I didn't have a credit card to pay with, but Sixt still helped me out and I was able to enjoy a fantastic week's holiday in Ireland.

Friendly folks from start to finish. No attempt to sell additional insurance. My car had broken down so it was stressful enough to begin with. Straight forward.

I recently had a long weekend in Ireland to see family. The service from Sixt at Dublin airport was superb from start to finish, particularly Leonardo. We got a great car and every detail was covered. I will be hiring my car from Sixt going forward. Thanks all.

We had a great experience with Sixt - our pick up at St. Stephens Green was fast, the vehicle was as expected, and drop off at the airport went smoothly as well. I would definitely recommend Sixt to anyone renting a vehicle in Dublin. As an American, we were able to easily request an automatic transmission and the cars have helpful hints in them to remind you stay on the left side of the road.

SIXT informed me at despatch that we were to get an upgrade. The car we got definitely was not an upgrade = a downgrade. Essentially a profit making scam. We were given a terrible car. Certainly not similar. We would never have booked with SixT had we known the car they would ultimately dump us with. Our problem apparently . Was the only bad thing on an otherwise good holiday. Will do everything we can to keep alerting people of this scam company.

The car option of a smaller VW Polo was ideal for travelling around Ireland - right size and power for negotiating the smaller local roadways.

Return to Dublin Airport was also seamless and exceptionally fast. Thanks SIXT - and I’d definitely use your services in the future.

I asked for extra insurance at the desk when I checked out the car at Sixt at Dublin airport and handed over my credit card. i did this for 2 reasons. I was nervous about driving on the left hand side of the road and my dear friend wanted to be the extra driver to "practice". And she ran into a curb and damage the hubcap and the trim on the lower part of the left hand side of the car . But I was so relieved because I knew I had gotten the extra insurance. And a tiny stone hit the windshield right behind the rear view mirror and caused a tiny ding. Well , it cost me $1700 and many emails back and forth with Sixt who claimed that I did not ask for the extra insurance. i looked for my invoice in the email and could not find it. I know that the paper they handed me when I rented the car was extremely minimal. The people were super friendly and helpful and I trusted them. If you're reading this review just remember to get a copy of your invoice when you rent the car and make sure that it says you have insurance for tire and windshield damage if you want it when you're driving in Ireland.

Overall, everything went well with the rental during the period. However it was after that they failed, a security deposit and the toll fee were not refunded after 3 weeks and failure to respond to emails asking has left a bad opinion of them. Avoid if you only have a debit card.

The staff went above and beyond what was required, I arrived a day late for collection, obviously my car was gone, no issue with that, but Richard went out of his way to get me the type I wanted. He didn't have to do so as I was at fault.

Rarely do I have a good review for car hire companies but Sixt at Dublin was amazing the member of staff who helped us was Richard, polite, helpful and a pleasure to deal with, the whole thing was so easy even return my only gripe was the length of the walk to the car as I am disabled but I didn't ask for help if I did I am sure Richard would have had a solutio

I had a fantastic experience renting a car with Sixt. The process was smooth and efficient from start to finish. The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful. The car was in perfect condition — clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Returning the vehicle was quick and hassle-free as well. Overall, a great experience that I can highly recommend.
