Our wide range of courses include 3 Day First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid at Work, mental health first aid, and health & safety training. Whether you're looking to build confidence in a medical emergency or improve safety standards in your workplace, we have a course to meet your needs. We offer workplace first aid training at centres across Wales including Cardiff, Wrexham, Swansea, Newport, Abergele, Bridgend, Abergavenny, Rhayader, and Deeside. Alternatively, we can come to you to deliver bespoke certified training at your workplace for groups of six or more. We work with young people, employees, and communities across Wales to make first aid knowledge accessible to everyone. Our trained volunteers deliver expert first aid cover at a wide range of public events, from sports matches to concerts, helping keep attendees safe. We offer transport services in partnership with the NHS, ensuring safe and reliable care for those who need it. Through our actions, we inspire others leading by example and supporting people to reach their full potential.

Excellent First Aid Training Course
I recently completed a three-day first aid training course with St John Ambulance and was extremely impressed with the trainer and the overall experience.
The trainer was highly knowledgeable, professional and approachable, delivering the course in a clear and engaging way. They created a relaxed learning environment while ensuring that all the important information and practical skills were covered thoroughly.
The practical exercises were particularly useful and gave us the confidence to put what we had learned into practice. The trainer was always happy to answer questions and took the time to make sure everyone understood the different aspects of the course.
Overall, it was an excellent three days of training, and I would highly recommend the trainer to anyone looking to complete first aid training. A very informative, enjoyable and worthwhile course. Thank you Helen.

Completed the 2 day re certification…
Completed the 2 day re certification course. The instructor was very knowledgeable but i did feel he disagreed to often with what was written in the first aid manual. The course was stretched out. The final day for me was very uncomfortable. Seat not comfortable for sitting in for 6 hours. The instructor had a nice office chair the candidates didnt. TV monitor way to small for the presentations. I struggled to read the information on the screen. Very little practical exercises. Friday I was not stimulated and lost interest early on. In all not a positive experience. Will probably seek another provider next time. Check in and facilities were good with a very helpful Receptionist.

Your comments regarding the seating arrangements, monitor size, and pacing of the course will be addressed internally for further investigation.
While it's encouraging to hear that you found the trainer to be knowledgeable, we also acknowledge your comments about the instructor's reference to the first aid manual and the feeling of disengagement on day two. These issues will be raised with our education team to be reviewed.

Well worth doing and not as daunting as it may seem
I would highly recommend this to anyone, no matter their age or experience.
I have been daunted by doing first aid training for a while and Helen made it so easy and such a relaxed atmosphere that the daunting perception just disappeared. Practicing was not awkward at all and receiving small adjustments during the practices made it so much easier to find the flow and get things right without pressure.
