The operational experience of our trainers brings the content of our courses to life, providing you with real life examples and realistic scenarios that you may encounter in your role. One major advantage of using real-world experienced trainers is, they can deliver course content from the prospective and understanding of somebody who has actually done the job, rather than someone who has just read the book. Skills For Jobs takes the responsibility of delivering appropriate and realistic training very seriously. This is evidenced through the development and approval of our own Physical Intervention training system ‘Shield PI’, quality assured by the Institute of Conflict Management (ICM) and approved by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) for delivery as part of the Door Supervisor SIA licence linked training (Module 4 at Level 2). We’re pleased to boast, due to the high standards of our training, it’s recognised SfJ generally produces a higher level of candidate. As such, we work in association with a number of local and national employment agencies who recognise our expertise, and regularly frequent our courses as guests, speaking with learners regarding employment opportunities available with them. They are eager to interview anyone who has completed their training through Skills For Jobs.

The Assessor was brilliant
The Assessor was brilliant and friendly creating a conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning, though very strict and enforced discipline throughout the section. Aegis Ltd Physical intervention lessons have been given as reference point for me to study by City of Oxford college, Blackbird Leys Campus where am undertaking CCTV course. This tells how excellent Aegis is doing in the PSI in UK

This course was well structured and easy to follow,due mainly to the instructor ( Alan Price ) being very knowledgeable in all subjects and then some.If your serious about getting your S.I.A licence then I would recommend Aegis-skills ltd.the only small gripe I have is that tea and coffee was not provided.although we had hot water,would have been the icing on the cake especially on a cold day,otherwise all in all excellent course.

Keep it up..
How could it be otherwise with a jolly instructor (Allen) who had the knowledge and experience, and the skill to convey it to the group in a way that that was both informative and entertaining. In fact, he did a lot in a little time honestly and sincerely. The exam was conducted in a highly disciplined and positive way. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning the skills required for security purposes. Best of luck and thanks.

I wasn't looking forward to the course …
I wasn't looking forward to the course as much as I should as I had done the course many years ago and have 24 yrs experience of actual working.
But I was excellently surprised, Bob and Allan were experience and excellent instructors who refreshed what I knew (but had forgotten).and taught me many new skills that I shall take forward with me into the working environment and I would recommend this course to anyone who is looking to work in this industry.

I recently undertook a Door Supervisor Up-skill course with Aegis Skills Ltd. They are a very professional business, and their communication from start to finish was exemplary. The course itself was delivered to a very high standard, I would like to make a special mention to Maurice who delivered an excellent course. Aegis Skills Ltd provide training that goes further than basic SIA criteria. This was something that stood out to me, if your looking to work in the Security sector or need some additional training. A very well run course
A very well run course, professional trainers with a wealth of experience that gets passed on to all course members.
Allan Price was our trainer with over 30 years door work experience and with his back ground in martial arts he showed us skills which we could use in a very effective.
The course was very well presented and put a cross in a way you could fully understand. No corners were cut and all protocols followed.
