Rip off!…

I received this chocolate on a free trial Tues. and 3days later I was charged 34.99 for it because they said I hadn`t cancelled within the 7 day period! I spoke with an agent and I`m supposed to get a full refund. Let`s see. If not, I am contacting the AG about a scam and rippoff! Actually it was only 2 days that I had it as it was charged first thing this morning! I was supposed to get an email. Not yet. I also cancelled any further delivery. Feb 19. 2021

I had canceled my account and yet got…

I had canceled my account and yet got another auto ship. The chocolate is decent quality but it is pretty much a flat taste. Very expensive considering the poor taste profile. I had to refuse this unwarranted shipment.

Not worth it!

Like prior reviews - you get the "free" sampler, with the fine print of automatic renewal unless you cancel in 10-days. So it costs you over $40 for a bag. Returns permitted - but they never credited my account. DON'T GET HOOKED - DON'T TAKE THE "FREE" OFFER!

Beware!!

Beware!!! They send you an 11oz bag of chocolate then if you don't cancel the "subscription" within 7 days you are billed $34.99 for the chocolate. What a SCAM, they claim it's in their rules and you have to check it off. Also they signed me up for a monthly subscription. This company is a bunch of theives

Bad business practices

This company has terrible business practices, I called within the 7 day trial period to cancel and avoid the reoccurring shipments and charges but they still charged my account even though I didn't receive anymore shipments. When I called them the rep tried to tell me I didn't cancel within the 7 days and hung up on me. Needless to say, I will never order from them, recommend them and I'm disputing the charges through my credit card.

This is total rip-off

This is total rip-off! The offer free chocolates and then charge $34.99 if you don’t cancel after receiving. Then automatically charge you 3 weeks later $37.94. Takes 2 weeks to receive product. So a total of $37.94 for 30 pieces of chocolate that are 1 inch square. You do the math! Not that tasty and gives me the runs. Customer service is a call center where they don’t understand much about customer service. They make it difficult to cancel as well.

Scam alert!

I placed an order on January 9 because they offered 30 pieces of chocolate for $4.95. Luckily, I took a picture of my order because I checked my credit card and I see a charge on there for $34.99, billed on January 22. I haven’t even received anything from them, no emails, no confirmation of shipment as stated on my receipt. They said I was supposed to receive the item today, which I have not. I told him that I did not authorize them to bill my account and that per their policy states that you have seven days from the date you receive the item to try the product and then after seven days they will start billing you monthly for the $39.99. I stated to them I have not received the item and even if I was to receive the item today they should not have billed me until January 30th. I’m thankful that I took pictures of their policies and my receipt. This company is a complete scam and their business practices are very deceiving.

This chocolate is delicious

This chocolate is delicious! I gave my
Son in law a box for his Birthday. He loves it too.
None of the side effects of other sugar free chocolates. 😋❤️

Buyer Beware

Buyer Beware! A complete rip-off and they know it! Yes, they have the disclaimer, in very, very small print saying that if you get the "free" bag of chocolates for shipping only, they will start sending a monthly bag. But, I missed that. Shame on me. I usually do but it was tiny. My free ones arrived via USPS, in Arizona and completely melted. No ice. I tried to firm them up and in the fridge but we were not impressed. I then forgot about it until I saw a $43.08 charge from them on my credit card. Then before I could call and find out, I received another 11 oz bag in my mailbox. Again no ice and melted. I emailed their customer support only to be told I needed to call. I did call and they say they cancelled my subscription but no money back. Even if they were GREAT chocolates, which they are not, $43.00 a month? Who could afford that? They know they are walking a thin line and their customer people know it too. I feel sorry for them.

This is the worst company you will deal…

This is the worst company you will deal with. I ordered from this company the chocolate came flat as if it melted and was very old. You can tell because they never restock. Choc Zero is the best way to go very fresh and yummy! Beware this company's customer service is horrendous and the chocolate is awful and stale!

Dumb deceptive business model

Bunch of liars! Completely false (and moronic) advertising scam! I got a message offering a free bag of chocolates...just pay shipping. When I signed up for it, the bag is clearly marked as $0.00 but you do have to commit to their subscription plan. I actually liked the chocolates and was planning to keep the subscription, but I didn't want a bag every month. So I changed it so my next order would be in 3 months. As others experienced, I'm then charged $34.99 a few weeks later, even though I didn't get (with or without my request) another shipment. When I called to ask about it, I'm told condescendingly and unapologetically that $34.99 is actually for the first bag: despite it being advertised--several times-- as free.

Not only is this approach deceptive, but it's also a supremely stupid marketing strategy. The chocolate does taste good while being sugar-free--very importantly, sweetened with stevia; I (and probably many others) would be happy to continue to buy it, including on a subscription basis. However, I'm certainly not willing to support a business that brazenly utilizes such deceptive and unethical strategies.

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM
This company is based on scamming the customer. The "trial" is a bait and switch.
I ordered the "trial" on 12/9/2020. On 12/22/2020, my card was billed for $34.99. I wasn't sure what was up with that as I never received any additional product.
I just spoke with them on the phone, the company is in the Philippines! I told her to cancel my subscription which she didn't want to hear and tried offering me all sorts of inducements not to, prefaced by "Well, how about we do..." this, that or another thing. I responded with "Well, how about we just cancel my subscription NOW and I have nothing more to do with your company. She then assured me that she is cancelling me from any further orders and I will be receiving an email today in that regard.
We shall see
