Trying to give less than one star and I can't. DO NOT ORDER. You will never be able to cancel. You can not cancel over the internet, even tho you ordered on it. They feel the need to confirm it's really you to cancel, just not to order? The last call made to the 24hrs/day number you gave to call to cancel was with a guy "Arthur" that did not know what state his employer was in, or the name of the employer for that matter based on the last order number. The reference order number I received via email was wrong. It's cost me $150 for the wrong chocolate twice. Well, every time seeing as though it should have been mint the whole time. Go get it at the store if you want to try it. Better yet, find a grocery store that has those bulk bins that people cough in, it's probably safer.
I just looked up on the BBB site that they are currently rated "F"! You have been warned.
Worthy of one star
First, the Chocolate is not worth the cost! That's the bottom line. Now the details. We thought we'd try the "free" Chocolate offer where you only pay for Postage and Handling, $4.95. We ordered the Dark Chocolate w/Strawberry flavor. 11.64 oz, 30 sq. The chocolate tasted like any other sugar free chocolate. Smelled lightly of strawberry but absolutely no strawberry flavor! Would not buy again.
We did not call back to cancel and it gets interesting here. And this was our fault. They billed us again for $34.99. Wait a minute. The bag we purchased retails for $29.99 and then shipping which we already paid for. So they billed us twice for shipping. When we called we were informed that's the cost for the free program. So our 11.64 oz of chocolate cost us $39.94 or $3.43/oz. Trust me folks, that's some expensive chocolate for the cost. AND, it's truly not that great tasting.
One thing that was positive was the packaging. The little squares were a perfect size with 30 to a bag. That's why I gave them a 1 star.
My suggestion, read the fine print on anything regarding this company.
Hot Coco Plus
I have been getting the Dark chocolate Strawberry squares and making Hot coco with them for some time. Is the perfect way to enjoy Hot coco. And for an additional treat for thoes that can tolerate it, add a shot of Amaretto to your coco, Ummmm.

I did read the offer closely and saw that you had to cancel within 7 days to avoid the subscription. I got the bold dark chocolate and I liked it, but feel that $3.44 per ounce is a bit high. Customer service was very prompt to answer and was helpful. They did offer me a 15% discount if I did not cancel which I refused.
I am disappointed that they have to engage in questionable marketing in order to sell their product.

Secret Fine Print Subscription charged to me!!!!
Why are you using the ole 'sell them an expensive subscription in the fine print' strategy to sell your chocolates??? If they are good, you won't need to do this to make money. This is crooked business practice. You may make a few books for a while doing this...but it is good as stealing. Nobody will stay with you because of this...even if it IS delicious.... ??

I LOVE this chocolate! If you can't have sugar but love chocolate, this is terrific! Knowing that it's sugar-free, you should be prepared for a different taste, but the dark chocolate is SO good! My only issue is that it is melted by the time I get it in the hot months. I think they should ship in a different container to keep it cool. I had to throw away my last box because it separated when it cooled and just crumbled.

What I bought: mint dark chocolate, and I thought it tasted alright.
Read the fine print, it DOES say you get charged full price if you don't cancel within a period of time, I forgot and got charged, fine, whatever.

WHAT DID I DO ABOUT IT: I found the confirmation email they sent me, I searched and confirmed it DID NOT say that I was signed up for a subscription... Solid. Evidence.
THEN: I called the customer service number that's on the email.
They answer: "Thank you for calling customer service how can I help you?"

I explained my situation, I did not want that second box, (the chocolate was alright, but not a second $40 alright, ya dig?)
They offered: 15% refund (of the 2nd box) because the second box had already been sent. Um, no.
I asked if I could return the second box for the refund of just that one (first one was my bad but didn't make a point of that) I would pay return shipping and asked where I was shipping it to.
After a long pause* she replied: 30% refund and I keep the 2nd box.
No. How about I return the 2nd box (completely unopened) for the full refund, and I ASKED AGAIN: WHERE WOULD I BE SHIPPING IT TO? (seriously, why won't you tell me, I offered to pay the fees, maybe the shipping is less, I wanted to at least know, why won't you tell me????) She went away for a moment...
AND THEN: "You won't be needing to return the second box and I have cancelled your subscription, unfortunately we can't give you back the $4 shipping and handling fee for the first box but we can return the $34 for the 1st box."
Deal.
Okay, so I lost like 40 bucks, but you live and you learn 🤷♀️ at least I got the $34 and I got to keep the chocolate that I actually kinda liked. I had to be persistent with it because she really just wanted to give me $6 (15%) for a loss of $80???

Unlike most people, I don't hate the chocolate. Although I've only tried the dark chocolate. You can tell it's a "healthy" recipe but as long as you know what you're expecting, it's fine. If it was reasonably priced and the company's policies weren't so scammy I would actually buy this occasionally. But beware, when you sign up for the "free trial," not only do they sign you up for the monthly shipment (lots of companies do this), if you don't cancel within 7 days they charge you the FULL AMOUNT for the "free trial" item, as well. That was the deciding factor for me. So I give it decent marks for product, terrible rating for business practice.

Just as other reviews, they will sign you up for a subscription. I changed my debit card....the only way to be sure. Oh, and they gave me a five dollar refund for a thirty-five dollar purchase.
STOP, DON'T ORDER SAMPLE!
Ordered the 'free sample', never received and forgot about it to be honest. Suddenly, another charge comes through today! I called, not sure where but I could hear a ROOSTER in the background! I cancelled after a hard sell to take of 10%...no, how about 15% NO just cancel! I'm calling again monday to be sure it's cancelled and we are opening a dispute with the credit card.

As do others, I wish I had checked here before getting caught in this web. The chocolate is marginal. If it is without sugar, perhaps that is the reason. A free sample tempted me to try, and I found the chocolate to be inferior to what I consider good from other sources. Suddenly I was confronted with a charge to our bank account and went checking. After getting through, in response to my protests, I was told my account was canceled but that the second shipment had left their store. We pay for that. Thus, if correctly informed, we are free of the company's talons. We hope so.

Chocolate is awful and they sign you up for a $35/ monthly subscription without consent. They told me I agreed to a 7 day trial and if I didn't cancel I was agreeing to this. However, they also never sent a confirmation email or notice of this trial. I had to Google them just to get a phone number to cancel and request refund. SCAM!!

This "chocolate" was the worst thing I've ever put in my mouth. I spit it out; couldn't even swallow it. Customer service is horrible. I immediately called and canceled, and then just received another order. They said I never cancelled it. I can't say enough bad things about this company. Don't accept their "free" offer; if you do, you are subscribing for monthly shipments. This stuff is inedible!
