Buyer Beware!!! I ordered the trial offer and pd the $4.95 for shipping and before my trial size came and I could try the chocolate they billed my credit card another $34.99. When I called they said I had 7 days to cancel my trial even when I hadn't received my trial chocolate to make an informed decision. The would not refund my money and my trial chocolate was a greasy melted mess :( DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY IT'S A RIP OFF

I ordered a trial size, was charged $4.95 as stated. However when checking my credit card statement, I was charged $35 for a subscription that I did not agree to. I called their hotline, and requested a refund and cancelation of charges. The representative told me I did not read their"fine print" conditions . There was nothing on the site indicating charges, and they promised me a partial refund....

Agree- If I could rate them a zero I would. We got our "free sample" of chocolates after the $4.95 shipping fee. Then we were charged $39.94, for the next shipment. I immediately called and was told he canceled the subscription and credit my account. We did receive the credit. The following month, again I was charged $39.94 and I called and was told the subscription was never cancelled. After @ 25 minutes, she told me she credited me the full amount ( this was after two attempts to charge me the $4.95 shipping fee and multiple minutes on hold while she checked with her supervisor--felt like I was buying a car!!!) and she had canceled my subscription. She could not give me a confirmation # as it s system generated but I would get it by email. Still have not received any email from them! I plan to contact the BBB. For now, I recommend stay clear of them unless you want to spend $40.00 a month on chocolate, or spend hours on the phone arguing with their poor customer service representative.

BBB contacted Skinny Me Chocolate regarding the advertising concerns. The business did not respond.
Very Dissatisfied
Like many of the others, my free trial box of chocolates arrived in a damaged package & were COMPLETELY melted. I called the company right away, received an apology & was told a replacement box would be sent at no charge. A couple of days later, we were charged almost $40 for an ongoing subscription they said we signed up for. What?! Despite arguing the point, they would not refund our money. We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. Buyer beware!
What a rip off
What a rip off! The company said I signed up for a subscription and because I didn't cancel before my 7 day trial period - they can't give me the $34.99 back. So a 11.64 ounce box of chocolates cost me $39.94.

Ordered a free trial, charged 2x, no product
I ordered the free trial and waited for my box. Before I ever even got my box, my account was charged almost $40. I contacted customer service and was told that I had not canceled my subscription before my trial was concluded and I had been charged for another box. I told them I had never received the sample box and would like my money back for it. They declined. I had to go to my bank and start a fraud claim to get this all sorted. After my money was finally refunded (it took nearly 30 days), I did receive a sample box. It's a shame that the customer service isn't better. because the chocolate really is delicious.

Scam. The chocolate sucks and they charge you a month later. Shame on them. They have the worst Better Business Bureau available. The have an F rating. They haven’t responded to a single complaint.

Ordered 7-1-20. Received 7-10-20. We had one piece and did not like it at all!! On 7-12 my account was billed for $34.99. I immediately contacted them, albeit being on hold for 30 minutes, and had to threaten the woman I talked to before she said they would refund the money. This is a first class scam!!!
Skinny Me Chocolates Scam
DO NOT...buy anything from this company...I ordered the “free trial”, and like many others did not notice the $34.99 monthly subscription they automatically sign you up for...you can try and cancel before the 7-day cancellation period expires but good luck...upon signing up for the free trial, they tell you you will receive an email shortly with the confirmation number, order number, and a DHL tracking number. I never received any email. I called them about this and they claimed that the package had been shipped and had been delivered to me. It was not. I asked for the tracking number so I could check for myself and they gave me a 22 digit tracking number. I asked them, isn’t that to many numbers, they said no, it is correct. Complete nonsense DHL tracking numbers only consist of 10 numbers. I told them I did not want the monthly subscription and they said they would cancel my account and again, I would receive an email confirming this....still no email....DEFINITIVELY avoid this scam company.

BIG SCAM, TAKES ADVANTAGE OF DISABLED PEOPLE
The chocolate is pretty good, however, this company is a scam artist. I signed up for the sample - I am diabetic and disabled and was hoping this could be a once-in-awhile indulgence. Little did I know that they automatically sign you up for a $35/month subscription after 7 days. When I got my first “subscription” box, I thought it was the sample. It was only after the SECOND box arrived that I realized I had been scammed BIG TIME... AND the second box arrived in 90 degree heat, completely liquified! It’s really too bad this company is so sleazy, because they’ve got a pretty good (VERY EXPENSIVE) product. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM unless you can justify paying $35/month for a handful of chocolate squares. Speaking with my attorney tomorrow, but hopeful for a refund per their guarantee.

My review is pre-emptive. I was ready to order the free sample and had even filled out my credit card information. But when i read these reviews I changed my mind and backed out of it. I rather buy sugar free Hershey's off of Amazon.
Don’t bother
Chocolate is delish, but don’t order unless you want to spend $35 a month on chocolate. They are not transparent and very dishonest in the way they conduct their business. And you can’t manage it online you have to call and talk to a person. I don’t care if it’s the best chocolate on earth, I don’t buy from dishonest companies that try to screw people over.
Best sugar-free/no-sugar-added…
Best sugar-free/no-sugar-added chocolate I've had. I tried the strawberry and while it was a bit melted, I blame that on the USPS worker choosing not to walk the package to the house, even though it said heat sensitive on it. I didn't know the chocolates were delivered until hours later, so of course with it being in the 80s, some of it was melted. This bothered me at first, until I realized... This stuff is actually BETTER after it melts a bit. The parts that had melted and then re-solidified were even better because the texture became even lighter and creamier, but retained their delicious flavor. Don't need the subscription as I don't eat chocolate every day, but it was super easy to cancel and the rep was very friendly and didn't try to press me to change my mind or give me a hard time at all.
