I wish I had come to this before I ordered the "free" box for $4.95. I did not see that in any of the promotion materials anywhere.When I called, the lady was quite pleasant even though I was not a happy customer. I asked what the $34.99 charge was for and she told me it was for the box of chocolate that I ordered and received. She explained the 7-day trial period. I received my chocolate on May 29th, today is June 5th, within 7 days. After I told her that it came melted and yes, I did write a review from the email prompted review, stating that it was melted. She said she would cancel the subscription if I wanted her to. Really, did I want to pay $40.00 for more melted chocolate? She offered me several discounted options. No, I still do not want melted chocolate for any price. She cancelled and offered me a 30% refund for my melted chocolate. I took it, but let her know I was still going to look for other avenues for a refund. I emailed the company, and was thanked for my order. After about 5 or 6 email messages back and forth, it was finally resolved. On another note, their website offers a 60 day refund, if you mail back the uneaten amount or even an empty box. Even though they are issuing the refund without mailing it back, I want to show them the quality of what they are shipping to people.
sneaky way to make money off of consumers
I like some of the others signed up for the $4.95 trial. I too missed the part where they said they'd charge your card $35 after 7 days. I actually liked the chocolate but wish this stipulation would have been made more clear. I won't buy the chocolate again because I feel this type of practice is a sneaky way to make money off of consumers.
terrible customer service and horrible chocolate
The chocolate was awful and apparently somewhere they sign you up for monthly charges of this gross chocolate. I called to cancel and the lady said she was a manager that refused to refund my money refused to email me saying they would work on cancelling it and refused to say anything other than sir we put that in writing absolutely the worst customer service I have ever dealt with and absolutely disgusting product!!!!

chocolate is OK but read the fine print, when you pay for shipping for you "free" sample it signs you up for auto shipments unless you cancel in time.

SCAM! Ordered trial for 4.95. Received sample...just okay and then was charged $35! Contacted customer service and was told it was in the conditions..somewhere, I couldn't find it but they wouldn't do anything about it!

I couldn't even taste the chocolate. It arrived completely melted!! Stuck to the wrappers. I cannot believe they would ship to Las Vegas (110 degrees yesterday when I received it) with NO ICE PACK. Absolutely shocking to me. When I called to get my money back they refunded me except for the shipping. I told them it's their crappy shipping that caused the "meltdown". So if you are going to order I would suggest never ordering in the summer unless you want to swim in the chocolate. Will NEVER buy from them again.
Truffles and Hot chocolate always out of stock.
I’ve had no problems with my orders so far, but they keep showing on their web site that they have truffles and hot chocolate but has always Been out of stock. Getting tired of the same chocolate and ready to stop subscribing. I don’t think they have ever had truffles or hot chocolate. As a diabetic, I would love to have a sugar free hot chocolate and cherry truffles.

I ordered 2 different kinds of Chocolate in 2018 for Christmas. I got one kind of the chocolates with a notice that the second would be shipped when available but I never received the second kind, even after contacting them 3 times. The first and second time they told me they were going to send the missing chocolates. The last time they told me they would not send them since I was out of their window to fix an order.
I am out of my money they charged and the chocolates.

False company advertising/bad customer service
I took advantage of the 7-day trial last Aug, 2019 to sample the chocolates. And I called within the 7-day trial period to cancel. However, I was told by the customer rep I spoke with that I don't have to cancel the subscription and I can change the shipment/billing date to anydate I want in the future. I changed my next shipment date to 3/23/20. I did not get charged for the free sample chocolates and I thought that was that. However, on 01/02/2020 I was surprised to see a charge to my card for $34.99 from the company. I called them to ask what the charge was for and the customer rep said it was for the chocolate I received in 8/2019 because I did not call within the 7-day trial period. I said I did call cause if I didn't, why didn't they charge me in August or September for the chocolates. But the customer rep refused to issue me a refund and said she cannot help me.

Chocs are very good. Company has improved it’s service with time.
When the company was brand-new there were a lot of difficulties in getting my orders – however, whenever there was a problem or an order did not arrive I did receive a refund.
More recently, the company functions far better than it used to and I receive my orders every time, and receive them far more promptly.
(I live in a desert community and I never order chocolate to be shipped to me during the summer – that would be folly! Some candy companies refuse to ship chocolate during hot weather.)
I have been satisfied with customer service – a couple of times I had ordered on a discount day and didn’t receive the discount – maybe I had not tapped the discount button? – And I called customer service and they unhesitatingly refunded me the equivalent amount of the discount.
So – after some initial difficulties with delays or non-arrival, I am finding this service very satisfactory.
I agree that the chocolates are overpriced, therefore, I order far less often than I otherwise would.
However, good-quality chocolate is always pricey.
I find the quality of his chocolate to be very good – not the best in the world but very good – and frankly I am thrilled with all the variety that they offer. Where else can you get so much variety in a sugar-free chocolate?
I am also very pleased that they sweeten with Stevia, and not with Maltitol because Maltitol acts as a laxative if you eat more than a little bit.
All in all, I am very pleased with this company, and delighted that they offer a very good sugar free chocolate of great variety.

I ordered some chocolate October 23rd. I never received my order, after contacting support several times, with NO ANSWERS as to why my order just said "order pending". This company and it's support SUCKS!!They lost a customer and will tell everyone how bad this company is!! I requested a refund let's see how long that will TAKE! Today is November 11th. Don't waste your money with this company!!!

Very good chocolate from a very deceptive company. I was successful in getting the subscription canceled but the refund promised to me in the amount of $34.99 by cs Pam on 9-26-19 has never arived and calling this company is very difficult. The only way to get anything done is to continue trying to call.

If I could give 0 stars i would. Took over 1 month to ship, then on top of it it came by normal mail and everything was completely melted; even though their site states they ship only on Monday to Wednesday to avoid it sitting in a hot warehouse. It was shipped on a thursday and recieved on a wednesday and sat in the post box in 99 degree heat. Poor service

This is the absolure worst company I have ever dealt with. Lies, lies, lies! Scam! Horrible! Every review on here is the complete truth. In short. . .Requested cancellation May 31. They had no documentation of this, however, I do, as well as my bank. Charged AGAIN July 21. Called that day. PROMISED cancellation and refund in 3 to the business days. Have followed up several times documenting EVERYTHING! Today. . .still no refund! Now Im told by Wednesday! This is UNBELIEVABLE! And i will put this review EVERYWHERE I possibly can.
