I choose here based on the good reviews and wow was I mistaken. I booked in for a consultation for lip fillers and paid £40 for this. When I arrived for the appointment the receptionist was lovely and told me to take a seat but from then on it went downhill. Dr pradnya introduced herself and from the off was a little condescending and pushy, she seemed to be over pushing the products and the clinic and it was just a bit awkward. She even went so far as to pick up the awards they’d won and bring them over to me like she was trying to prove something. Anyway, I fill in the form and we go to the consultation room. She looks at my face and rudely starts saying she “doesn’t normally do people this young but she’ll make an exception “ (if obviously said my name on the phone etc and it was no issue , and I was 18). She begins to look at my face telling me everything I ‘need doing’ , recommending 1ml in my lips , filler in my chin and jaw, even making comments saying she “can tell why I want it I look so out of proportion” and not in a gentle or constructive way. She then asks if I want to go ahead with the procedure straight away. I tell her I’d have to think about it because obviously what she suggested doing was HUNDREDS of pound more than I’d booked in for , and because by this point I felt quite upset and degraded and just wanted to leave . Her tone then got even worse and she told me that I have “wasted her time and her time costs money” - even though I’d only been there about 20 minutes and I had paid £40 for the consultation. I left feeling bullied and shocked that someone this rude actually gets clients. If you are looking for somewhere to go do not go here, do not support this type of bullying behaviour, there are many other great local businesses that I have since been to that are cheaper and more professional.

I had my consultation and augmentation on the same day, Dr Pradnya made me feel at ease, talked me through all and any concerns, risks and possible outcomes and information on how to deal with them and contact her, if needed.
She then offer words of encouragement throughout the procedure to help me to the end.
The reason I chose her was because she specialises in natural lip fillers and is also a licensed dentist.
All in all, the consultation/procedure took 30-35 minutes to complete and I left happy.
I really do recommend to anyone thinking of having fillers to go have a chat with her, I’m sure her warm personality alone will win you over 😊

I would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful little clinic. Dr Pradnya Apte is obviously passionate about helping her clients and provides an amazing service. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and all the team really take care of you. Very pleased with my results.

My first time at Skin Southwest was for a patch test for IPL to treat thread veins on my face. Had a consultation with Kayla who was brilliant, she put my mind at rest as I was a bit nervous, and talked me through the procedure. She did the patch test and the results were instant. Back 10 days later for the full treatment, slightly more painful this time but amazing results and again Kayla was brilliant and really helpful. Would highly recommend

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Skin Southwest’s Fire and Ice facial, carried out by Charlotte.
I did not have great expectations, having had treatments at other establishments in the past, where I felt no improvement afterwards. However, the Fire and Ice facial is in a league of its own! I can see why it’s called the Pre Red Carpet treatment.
My skin was so soft and glowing afterwards and still is 1 week later. It unclogged and shrank my large pores, smoothed out my lines and wrinkles and evened out my skin tone. What more can you ask for?
I needn’t have worried that my sensitive skin might be irritated by the treatment, there was zero redness or irritation afterwards.
I highly recommend this treatment to anyone wanting to give their skin a lovely boost.

Highly recommended skin southwest very friendly and welcoming clinic, been getting facials done and pleased with the results so far skin is looking better and is feeling a lot better, always leaving with glowing fresh skin looking forward to the next one!

I visited Skin Southwest as I was interested in hair removal on my underarms as well as teeth whitening.
Kayla carried out the IPL in a professional way and made me feel completely at ease. The results have been great and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending anyone to try it if they have their own concerns.
Dr Pradnya looked after my teeth whitening which again, was a quick and effective process which was done in a professional manor.

I would definitely recommend Skin Southwest. Dr Pradnya and the entire team are very welcoming and professional, and very good at putting you at ease. I had a non-surgical rhinoplasty and safety was Dr Pradnya’s first concern, which was taken care of perfectly via a number of appointments to ensure the procedure was done in safe stages. I’m very happy with my nose and happier that I felt safe and welcomed the entire time.

Just got my facial done today by Kayla and I can already see a huge difference in my skin. Kayla's customer service was amazing, and I felt very comfortable. It was very informative and I am so impressed . Will definitely be going monthly!

Amazing service, friendly, professional, Kayla who did my electrolysis on a big wart on my face, was very reassuring and talked me through each stage. Will be using them again soon for skin tag removal.

I have visited Dr. Pradnya several times this year for treatments at her lovely, bright clinic in Exeter. The last visit I had a skin thread lift to tighten and lift my jowls. I am so delighted with the outcome and even my friends have noticed a subtle difference! Pradnya is a skilled,dedicated practioner who cares deeply about her clients and how she can achieve the best possible outcome for them. I was immediately at ease in her company and everything is explained clearly. Having a background in dentistry, Pradnya knows all about facial structure and aesthetic contour and symmetry. Her talented team are always on hand to help with anything, be it a cold compress or a cup of coffee. I would not go anywhere else.

I have just had an amazing ‘signature facelift facial’ with Kayla at Skin Southwest. I am so happy with my overall experience at the clinic and the results achieved after just one treatment.
