Easy to follow material and responses were quick and helpful

I have enjoyed this course (RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Ocean Shorebased) greatly. It is thorough, extremely well-structured, and perfectly delivered with a dab of English humor thrown in every now and then. I have also benefited significantly from the resources linked to in the resources tab.

The course itself is split into two (unequal) parts, Yachtmaster and Ocean. The Yachtmaster part is the larger one, containing 17 modules, with each module containing the lesson (narrated videos, animations, and quizzes), and the corresponding exercise/solution. The modules cover the entire Yachmaster syllabus from charts to radar. Additionally, there are three mock exams (covering the different parts of the course).

The Ocean part is smaller, 13 modules all in all, with most of them dealing with astronavigation (a lovely subject).

I cannot recommend this course enough!

Online courses are very well structured and it makes motivating to learn through the chapters progression.

A good way to learn the theory online. One can take lessons at any time, there are plenty of trial examples after every topic, and the final exams are fairly straightforward.

An excellent self study programme, with well structured and interesting modules that made it enjoyable as well as instructive.
The responses to my assessments and exams were rapid and on point.
And I also have the sessions and RYA course notes on hand to recap at any time.

I really enjoyed the Day Skipper Theory course with Skippers Online. It was clear, well structured and easy to follow at my own pace. The examples and practice questions made everything make sense. Would definitely recommend it to anyone doing their Day Skipper.

Exceptional Course! The best on-line course I have taken. The self-paced on-line lessons were informative, clear, practical, and even managed to be funny! The mid-lecture quizzes were useful for keeping your attention and the after-lesson exercises were hard enough to ensure you really had to learn the material. The mock exams are prefect preparation for the actual exam.

Very well structured course and I should know-I used to run RAF flying courses on Hawk and Jaguar aircraft!

I was able to successfully complete the online Day Skipper course thanks in part to their helpfulness and patience. The teaching materials arrived very quickly, even though I live in Italy. I will definitely choose them again.

Everything was very clear from the beginning. The course very well explained. The Charts used are great and the metodolgy perfect for self students. Apart from that, I enjoyed a lot, even althogh it is a theory courses, the focus is very practical. I really recommend it.
