Dreadful scamming company
Dreadful scamming company. Non existent customer service. Ridiculous hoops you have to jump through to attempt to return broken faulty items. Comments turned off on all social accounts says everything about how they operate. Avoid at all costs. Just get a chargeback through your credit card when they fail to supply the goods or don’t allow you to return their broken poor quality garbage. Save yourself the pain of dealing with their painful portal for junk furniture that’s damaged.

Not even worth 1 star! Sklum Portugal is absolutely horrible! Beware of misleading information. I have placed several orders and had several disappointing experiences. Recently, I asked for an order to be part delivered. They asked for additional/extra delivery charges which I paid and guess what? They couldn’t deliver! They took the money on the promise my order would be released and now they’re full of excuses. I’ve sent email, after email begging for this to be sorted but they just reject any responsibility! I have experienced 3 deliveries with order shortages! Delays in delivery when at time of order was given 7/10 day release due to in stock availability but waited over 1 month and beyond! Try to phone customer services!!!! They are rude, abrupt and basically have ZERO EMPATHY. SKLUM WORLDWIDE CHANGE YOUR OPERATIONS IN PORTUGAL. RUDE PEOPLE AND SUCH A SHAME AS YOUR PRODUCT IS GOOD! CHANGE THE PORTUGUESE OPERATION!!!
Armário e devolução defeituosos
Comprei um móvel para a casa de banho a 15/01/2025.
Chegou a 22/01 com dois defeitos, um deles tão evidente que não se percebe como é que se dignaram a enviá-lo.
Tento contacto telefónico durante uns dias e nada, não há ninguém do outro lado da linha.
Preencho formulário para devolução a 27 de janeiro, não obtive resposta para procedimento de troca.
Nova reclamação e lá vieram buscar a 18 de fevereiro. Vem uma carrinha branca e velha buscar o produto, mas com o documentação correta sobre o produto.
Hoje, dia 1 de março, a única informação que tenho é que ainda não receberam o produto que devolvi.
A casa de banho, que está em processo de remodelação, está preparada para receber o móvel há cerca de 2 semanas, pelo que não posso montar o lavatório devido à inexistência do referido produto e assim acabar a obra.
Defective locker and return
I bought a piece of furniture for the bathroom on 15/01/2025.
It arrived on 22/01 with two defects, one of them so evident that it is not clear how they deigned to send it.
I try to contact the phone for a few days and nothing, there is no one on the other end of the line.
I fill out the form for return on January 27, I did not get a response for the exchange procedure.
New complaint and they came to pick it up on February 18th. An old white van comes to pick up the product, but with the correct documentation about the product.
Today, March 1st, the only information I have is that they have not yet received the product I returned.
The bathroom, which is in the process of being remodeled, has been prepared to receive the furniture for about 2 weeks, so I cannot assemble the sink due to the lack of said product and thus finish the work.

As the website tells me the products are available I still not have them.

Sklum has succeeded in breaking me
Sklum has succeeded in breaking me. On 13th of Nov, I ordered 3 bar stools (75cm) then amended my order a couple of days later, to the 65cm option, to fit the kitchen island. I expected a refund of just 60 euros in total (20 per stool), but I was refunded 200+ Euros. On checking the order on their website, I noticed they amended my order to send just one 65cm bar stool and not three. Since one cannot get hold of anyone on the phone number on their site, which is only available between 8am and 1pm, and they had refunded me for the other 2 stools, I quickly bought 2 bar stools on the 25th of Nov to match the one that was already on the way. I had hoped to have them all by Christmas. The one already on the way arrived and I put it together. A few days before Christmas, 2 boxes arrive with just legs for the 2 bar stools but no seats. I hoped a 3rd box would be delivered with the seats but no luck. I reached out to them online and they replied that they were still within the delivery period so my incident/complaint will be cancelled. Not minding that they messed up from the very first order on November 13. They use a REDUR courier service which is just as horrible. According to the tracking, my package is still in Valencia, but I have received legs but no seats. Never again!
Update 10/02/2025:
Replacement for the undelivered seats was dispatched on the 27th of January and as of today (14 days later), there has been no update on the tracker. The package shows it is still in Valencia. I honestly don't know why Sklum used the same courier (Redur) again. Seur was used for my first order and they delivered on time.
Update 18/02/2025
No delivery and no status update with courier. No customer service and email answered with generic reply. I want my money back as this is beginning to feel like a scam. When I use the tracking link, it shows there is a package with Redur but when I enter the shipment number on their website, nothing shows up.

There is a Face Book page dedicated to their terrible service, called Sklum Complaints. Any positive reviews must be fake.
Firstly, they may have 3 stars here but on the French Avis Verifies and the international Trustpilot sites they have 1 star. The French reviews site is hard to fake as you have to send them your proof of invoice so go figure. My experience with Sklum was consistently bad. It might be a scam where they start manufacturing in China once you've placed an order because surely it is illegal to advertise stock that you don't actually have for at least 6 weeks following the order? The first order took more than a month to arrive by which time I'd had to leave for work abroad. The second order, which was more than Euros 500 still hasn't arrived more than 6 weeks after ordering, despite some of the items being available within 5 days of ordering. There has been no explanation. Their chat facility on the website doesn't work either. I've cancelled my whole order today. But what a waste of my valuable time to spend hours selecting the items, measuring them, chasing the order when it didn't arrive. Order number EUFEXPVPI
UPDATE: Despite their reply below, no one got in touch with me. No one explained. They entirely ignored my cancellation email and didn't respond to that either. They then sent an email yesterday, 6 days after my full cancellation saying it had shipped. It goes from bad to worse I'm afraid.
UPDATE 16.2.2025. Items never arrived. 3 months later, no goods, no refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Disastrous
Disastrous. I bought a bed that arrived late, with no communication to inform me beforehand. After three weeks of waiting, my package finally arrived, but it was incomplete: all the boxes were delivered, but all the screws and assembly parts were missing. No response from customer service for more than a week now. I now have a bed that I cannot assemble. Absolutely deplorable service.
Don't buy!
You have a builder coming to your house to install a bathroom and you need a vanity unit. You order a unit from Sklum because it tells you that it will be shipped to you in 10-12 business days. You then get an order confirmation saying it will be 15-20 days.
You find yourself in a position where you've passed the original shipping deadline and the builder is asking where the unit is. You can't get anyone to pick up the phone at Sklum, the link "for more information about your order" does not work on their website and the tracking link states "no information available" - I assume it could be anywhere between here and China reading these reviews.
These products are EXPENSIVE and it seems quite remarkable you can charge these prices and offer this service this day in age.
I wish I'd looked at trust pilot first before buying from this company, can anyone help?
Poor quality material
I ordered a dining table and four chairs. They took over a month to arrive because they were out of stock. As for the design, they are beautiful pieces, as advertised, but I wouldn't buy them again. They're not worth the price and the material is really poor quality. The screws don't even fit in their places, one fell out as soon as I finished assembling the chair. The table has a leg that doesn't sit on the floor due to poor quality.

If you order and you receive the right articles you are even more lucky and if you receive the right articles that are not defective or damaged you can feel like winning the lottery. Don't ever think about returning something you simply don't like. Have you ever wondered why an online shop has an extensive form and explicit rules for reporting that you have received the wrong products? Have you ever wondered why an online shop has a button in your account for reporting an incident? Have you read through all the reviews that were shared about the logistics company Sklum uses to deliver, called SEUR? Are you aware that you will never get an answer from a real agent in the Whatsapp chat? Are you aware that the phone number always and only refers to their website? Are you aware that their website's chat refers you to their Whatsapp chat? Did you notice that they catch you in an endless loop of referring you to phone to their contact section to a chat but you will never be able to reach anyone as you just get automated answers? Are you aware that the incident you can open in your own account is only limited to very specific situations and requires endless time and documentation? Please each of you who unfortunately ordered there and made a bad experience involve your lawyers and the authorities!

I have ordered so many furniture items from this company and from what I have received so far the quality has been amazing BUT the service has been nothing other than annoying!
EVERY order I have placed this year has been delayed. My last order that I made in August has been delayed twice and is only coming in December. It was suppose to be delivered in September!
These delays are such a disappointment for this company.

This company is a fraud, don’t order there!!
If you’re lucky, you might receive the furniture in a good shape but there’s a high chance that won’t be the case.
I first ordered some garden chairs. I was first happy with them but after one summer, the black metal has completely lost its color and is now grey.
My second order was a shoe shelf and it came with a design error that made it not possible to place adult-sized shoes in the shelf. The quality of the wood was also not so great. I contacted the customer service to ask for a return one day after receiving it and they have denied my request without any reason. I tried to contact them again many times and they’re unresponsive.
I read many similar experiences online and they have recently disabled the comments on their Instagram profiles because it was full of negative comments.
Don’t trust this company! We lost 400€!

I can simply confirm the very bad ratings I read up until here:
Availability announced on the website prooved to be wrong.
When the delivery was finally announced, we had left for vacation. While the transporter announced "special delivery request", no delivery was made upon our return. We were told that the items were untraceable...
The customer service offered reimbursement. We are still waiting for it (now six weeks down the road!), despite numerous requests.
End of the story: SKLUM holds our money and we don't have the items delivered.
Please, buy somewhere else. I have never had such a bad experience with an internet shop!
Terrible quality and customer service
Recently bought outdoor Puffs. After only one summer the fabric has started to rip. I have tried to contact customer services which seems impossible!!! I managed to find an email but no reply. I will not buy anything from them ever again.
Worst experience
1. Delayed shipment: Order remained in the warehouse longer than the 5-7 days mentioned on the site, taking more than two weeks to leave despite being in stock.
2. Misinformation: Customer service misled me about the shipment date, insisting it was within the transit time, only for me to receive an email later stating the order was delayed.
3. Unprofessional customer service:
- The agent wasted my time with scripted responses and lacked empathy.
- Agents showed zero ethics by not telling the truth about the delay.
- None of the customer service representatives spoke fluent English, which is problematic in a country with many expatriates.
4. Special request ignored:
- I had requested special treatment for my order due to my upcoming wedding, and despite agreeing to a longer delivery time, the order still didn't arrive on time.
5. Poor product quality:
- The furniture had inaccurate measurements and visible flaws.
6. Stressful experience:
- The entire process was very stressful and disappointing.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had online. First I ordered a chair and it was mouldy when it arrived. I had to fill out a form online and take photos. Eventually they told me a courier would be in touch to collect. They didn’t get in touch just turned - luckily I was home. I al still waiting for a refund over a month later. I also ordered a pouffe but because the website is so poor it did not come up as a sale and I put payment through again. They charged me twice and wouldn’t let me cancel. I returned the item with their courier and now they are charging me delivery. There is no email address on the website and you have to fill out claim forms which are not necessarily relevant to your claim. All told I would not buy from them again.
I am still chasing furniture that was…
I am still chasing furniture that was ordered on 11April. Website clearly states that delivery is 10/12 days but then they point out it’s 15/20 days after dispatch and this is in the terms & conditions. Dispatch has taken until 8 May so that’s more time added. I am in communication but they keep quoting the terms & conditions of which they are now in breach of as they did not inform me within 48 hours that there would be delayed.

Wow, what a disaster of a site. E-commerce at it most confusing.
Made several orders, now have 40 items to return and not the items I wanted.

I've received all of my orders ( a total of 4) in the estimated time..when there was a delay they have sent an email to the company I was working with (woodfellas) asking if we want all the items sent together or if we preffer to receive the delayed item later..
I think the main problem might be with the costumer service since it is only by a chat in the website and won't answer most questions..unfortunately 1 in 4 chairs that we received was broken..probably during transportation and we were not able to reach someone at the company..but appart from that

PT-Estava inicialmente preocupada com as compras que fiz online atraves da SKLUM, dado que só li as reviews após ter feito 4 encomendas diferentes.. Contudo não tenho razões propriamente de queixa..recebi todos os artigos no tempo expectável.. quando houve um atraso num dos items duma encomenda, a empresa com quem estava a trabalhar (woodfellas) foi notificada, questionando se preferíamos que os artigos fossem enviados todos em conjunto ou se preferíamos que enviassem o que estava atrasado mais tarde..
Penso que o problema maior talvez seja no atendimento ao cliente, uma vez que é tudo em formato de chat no site, infelizmente 1 de 4 cadeiras estava partida, provavelmente em contexto de transporte e não existe um contacto directo com os funcionários desta marca.
Tirando isto, adorei os produtos, compensa a qualidade/preço comparativamente com outras lojas com produtos semelhantes.
