Skrill Has been such a pain! 4 weeks ago they restricted my account and after providing them with all necessary documents and requests I am still waiting for my account to be unrestricted. throughout the whole mess every reply I receive always states 24-48hrs response time. this is a load of crap. I have called customer support, chatted with the bot and tried so hard to file a complaint and I'm still in restriction. I just want my money off there so I can close my account and be done with Skrill.

Absolutely trash service. Allows me to do several deposits and transfers then restricts my account on last deposit. I submitted documents again!! To verify and i just have no feedback. Absolutely useless company. Stay away if you want free advice. Much better companies out there

Holding money over 72h no chance to speak whit advisor cause of ai bot still verifying address when it says 24h do not use it scam!!!

The fact that Skrill practically charges zero fees, which makes it preferable to any bank card from my country of residence, Greece, is impressive, in combination with its being accepted essentially everywhere.
However, the most striking case of positive personal experience was when I was scammed by a supposed merchant, who claimed to sell in his fake page a product not available in my country and at a tempting price! Skrill conducted an investigation and immediately refunded me the full amount of 70.51 EUR in March 6, 2026. Furthermore, all the customer service employees I have exchanged messages so far have been extremely polite and help Skrill customers effectively, from what I have seen.

Skrill cares about profits than customer care. I raised an issue with them about 6 months ago and nothing happened. Every I contact them they just send automated answers. A finance company that lets scammers operate freely shouldn’t be operating. I wil advise people not to use Skrill for any matter or reason if you value your money and sanity.

Don't let intermediary financial institutions provide you with poor service and devalue you. Let's stay away from financial institutions. It's time to throw these financial institutions in the trash. We will not allow them to devalue you, harass you, mock you, hide everything from you, and act superior to you with their nonsense like, "For security and regulatory reasons, we cannot share detailed information about the review process or internal decision-making processes."as a threat against customers.

Account has been restricted for almost a week with my money in it…. There isn’t a way to call or get information….Customer service is slow to respond second guessing if it’s worth the hassle of the excess fee with high probability of your funds being restricted without any explanation.

It's been a year and a half since Skrill stole my money, $200. They are refusing to give me my hard earned money on the pretext that I should send them documents showing my address, but they are rejecting every document I send with no explanation whatsoever. They say the bill document must have my name but how can it when I was renting? On signing up they never said I must own the house I'm living in. I have tried everything. I have since built my own house and sent the bill which shows my husband's name but still rejected. Always rejected. It's like they just want to claim my money and shut me out.
Don't bother putting your money with them, because at any moment they feel like, they can just block your account and that is that. I have tried in vain to speak to a person for a year and a half now. I keep getting sent to bots. I send emails and get no reply. They open the case and close it severally without ever solving my issue. I need my money and they are just keeping it. The least they could do is send the money back to my client who sent it if they can't process it but nooo they'd rather just steal the money from both of us. I deeply regret recommending Skrill to my client or even coming across them in the first place. One and a half years is way too long to hold on to my money. I really needed that money during my maternity leave.
PS: Please don't bother telling me to contact you on the website because I have already done that on several occasions on both mine and my husband's account over the past one year and a half. You chose to ignore me. If you really cared about your client, you'd contact me tankeublessing gmail
