I am disappointed with the service provided by Skycop (reference #1df8805f). My case has now been ongoing for 20 months, which is completely unacceptable.
Communication has been consistently poor throughout the process. They rarely answer questions directly, often providing vague or irrelevant responses instead of clear updates. This has made an already long process even more frustrating.
Recently, they confirmed that they have received the compensation from the airline, but stated there is some kind of error and that their finance department will contact me. Since then, there has been no meaningful follow-up or resolution.
Overall, the experience has been extremely disappointing. I would highly not recommend using Skycop based on my experience.

Skycop’s own dashboard says that the airline has already paid the compensation and that Skycop has received the funds. My payout of €140 is shown as being prepared.
However, I have still not received any payment and I have received no response to my emails or WhatsApp messages for over 6 days.
I am only asking to be paid the €140 that Skycop says is already due to me.
Please resolve this urgently.
Edit: If i didn t post this review here for others to see my worst experience with Skycop and last one for sure , no reply would i got from them, so to MAKE THIS CLEAR , i ve been waiting for a longgggg time for this situation to end , the fact that Skycop has gotten my money long ago and did not bother to make my share of payment when they were paid by the airline it makes things worse , payment was initiated if i m not wrong in February so why it takes so long to transfer me the FUNDS?? It is ridiculous and yes i have proof that no response to my email i sent recently and neither whatssup which was sent last week on Tuesday and nobody bothered but they were happy when payment was done and took their share which to be honest with you for the POOR SERVICE i got and lack of communication from them i would suggest to get more pay than the actual figure given to me as i deserve this.

I truly regret to not contacting the airlines by myself. This feels like a complete waste of time. Created the claim via Skycop on 15.3.2024 and still haven’t received anything. 6 months ago I was asked to provide bank details for the transfer and its been all quiet since. Disappointed.

1. The 50% fee was not transparently disclosed during the application process. At no point was I clearly informed of the fee percentage before entering into the agreement, in breach of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).
2. I emailed Skycop requesting cancellation of claim #6a8585f6. This request was ignored and not actioned. Skycop continued to process the claim and deducted their fee despite my explicit cancellation request.
I have contacted Skycop directly to request a refund - no response. I have now also filed complaints with the Lithuanian Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VVTAT) and the UKICC (UK cross-border consumer centre).

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with Skycop’s service. My claim (#d89c8703) regarding an Air India flight was successfully settled months ago. Skycop confirmed they received the funds from the airline, and my payout was officially scheduled for December 15, 2025.
It is now nearly April 2026, and I still haven't received my money.
All necessary documents for all passengers were submitted and approved back in October 2025. Since December, I have sent dozens of emails to their support, info, claims, and legal departments. I have also tried contacting them multiple times via WhatsApp (both Italian and international numbers).
The only responses I receive are automated templates or "we are looking into it," but no bank transfer has been made. It is unacceptable that Skycop is holding onto my compensation for over three months after promising the payout.
I demand an immediate update and the execution of my bank transfer. Stop sending me automated replies and give me a definitive date for my payment.
UPDATE 31/03/2026:
I have seen your reply, but I have heard these generic promises before with no results. You stated that a "claim administrator" would contact me, but I have yet to receive any email or official confirmation regarding my payment for claim #d89c8703.

8 April 2026: So far no action from skycop other than acknowledgement of complaint. No information about what's the next step. why delaying? by when they will transfer the money?

The airline confirmed with a wire receipt that Skycop had been paid nearly a year ago and after months of trying to contact them I am still nowhere closer to getting paid.
They seem to be a scam and all positive reviews are fake.

It is impossible to contact Skycop. I received an email from them saying that Qatar Airways has finally transferred my money to them (after 5 months) and requesting my bank details.
That was over two weeks ago and I have heard nothing since. I am feeling very concerned that I have been robbed, why has my money not been lodged into my account? The IAA contacted me to confirm that Qatar has paid Skycop so it is looking like I have made a very bad decision. It has been so difficult to try and chase this compensation that was due to me and now that the airline has paid it, I can’t get it released to me.
