I eventually received my compensation, but the experience with Skycop was very disappointing.
The process took far longer than expected, and communication was slow and often unclear. I had to follow up multiple times just to get basic updates about my case.
There was very little transparency throughout, which made the whole situation stressful and frustrating.
While they did deliver the final result, the overall experience was not smooth or reassuring. Without constant follow-up, I doubt the process would have moved forward.
I cannot recommend their service based on my experience.

I have an approved compensation claim since August 2025 (€600), and Austrian Airlines has confirmed that the payment was already made to your company.
However, I have not received my money and no one is responding to my emails.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Use anybody BUT them. Almost 2 years since the cancelled flight and my claim opening. Skycop repeatedly send me the same email when ever I enquire about why on earth it is taking so long. Now I'm reading that others have had the airline confirm they have given Skycop the compensation and Skycop are refusing to hand it over to the claimant. Disgraceful practice. I am currently trying to seek an Ombudsman so I can retrieve what they have likely stolen. Disgusting business

I'm starting to believe this is a scam, and the good reviews are either old, or Skycop posting themselves!
I'm just about to contact Brittish Airways and check if they have paid. I had an open shot case, as the plane got problems over the Atlantic and had to turn back to London for an "emergency landing". We sat on a new plane to our final destination, something like 6-7 hours after our original itinerary.
Stil no payout and Skycop doesn't respond to our support tickets (375732) or our claim (#00feb06a).
They are quick to reel you in as a customer and then nothing! They keep sending a bunch of SPAM about their products and services they want me to enroll in, but they haven't been able to deliver to me yet. My only tip for "new customers", is DO NOT USE SKYCOP!!! They do not deliver! Use some other service or make the claim yourself.
SKYCOP seems to have turned into a scam!

I have been waiting for my flight compensation from Skycop for 3 years. My payment, which was originally due on March 17, 2026, has still not been received despite multiple formal emails, reminders, and final legal notices.
Their customer support continues to send generic, automated responses without taking any real action. This level of inaction is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a serious breach of their obligations.
If the payment is not processed immediately, I will escalate the matter by:
• Filing complaints with consumer protection and relevant regulatory authorities;
• Initiating legal proceedings;
• Publicly sharing my experience across social media to warn other potential clients.
I urge anyone considering Skycop to be aware that delays, lack of communication, and unprofessional service may occur, even for several years.

My claim #ee7198ba is taking too long now. IT has been almost a year from our delayed flight and our claim we filled with Skycop. I know it takes some time to get things done in legal process, but I know so many people from the same flight who received their compensation already, and without 50% of their compensation taken from them.

I submitted a compensation claim with Skycop regarding my delayed Lufthansa flight LH498 from Frankfurt (FRA) to Mexico City (MEX), which took place on February 22, 2024.
The claim process started normally and Skycop handled the legal process with the airline. After a long wait, the compensation was finally approved on December 15, 2025. According to the portal, Lufthansa agreed to pay €600, from which Skycop keeps €300 as their fee, leaving €300 to be transferred to me.
The claim status on their platform clearly shows that the funds have already been received and that they are “preparing my payout.” I was also informed by email that the payment would be initiated on February 9, 2026.
However, as of today (March 2026), I still have not received the payment.
When I contacted customer service, I received a message saying that their finance department had been contacted and that they would “prioritize” my payment after identifying the issue. Unfortunately, no specific transfer date or payment confirmation has been provided.
To be clear:
• The compensation was approved.
• The airline has already paid the funds.
• The system shows the payout is being prepared.
Yet the transfer to my bank account has still not been completed.
The claim process itself worked, but the final payment stage has been very slow and unclear. I hope Skycop can resolve this soon and provide the transfer confirmation.

Update – April 2026:
Following this review, Skycop responded stating that the payment has already been “scheduled” and is currently in the final stage of processing.
