Per American Airlines they paid SKYCOP on October 23,2025 but yet I am still waiting on my payment from them I received a response here on March 4,2026 and was told to contact again via email which I did and still no response I have been asking for a live agent since February 12th 2026 on WhatsApp

Incident occurred in August 2025, Whilst the airline had already sent payment to Skycop.com in September 2025.

I submitted my compensation claim through Skycop on 22 May 2025. They promised a fast, efficient, hassle‑free service, saying all I needed to do was provide the required documents. After submitting everything, I didn’t hear anything back from them.
At the end of June 2025, I checked my claim online and saw that it was supposedly “in process” with my airline, Air France–KLM. I followed up directly with KLM, and they informed me that they had already transferred the compensation funds to Skycop under reference C‑9726722. I emailed Skycop again but received no response.
I then went on Trustpilot and wrote a review about my experience. Only after that did they start replying, and even then, their responses were full of excuses and delays. Reading other reviews, I realised many people had gone through the same thing.
Skycop finally contacted me after my public reviews, and I received my compensation yesterday, 17/03/2026. However, I was never informed of the amount I was entitled to or how much they deducted as their fee. The lack of transparency and communication has been extremely disappointing.
I want to warn others: do not use this company unless you’re prepared for frustration. Their communication is very poor and often automated. I hope anyone considering their service takes the time to read reviews—I wish I had. Please spread the word. It genuinely feels like they drag the process out until you give up. Thanks to TrustPilot for giving this platform to highlight issues like this.

My case number is #027e7129. My delayed flight was in 2024. 08. 01 and the case is still going, they are asking everything from me, a phot ofrom ID, etc. I sent it every time but dind't get any answer, or progress with the case. I feels like they are just securing personal DATA's, then took the money. You guys must go directly to the airlines. Now I decided to head to one of the European Union's law authorities to get my money, if they are not progressing with the case.

My experience with Skycop was definitely not easy. When I first submitted my claim, I did not expect the process to take so long or require such a significant amount of effort from my side. In my opinion, when a customer pays a company such a substantial fee, the process should be smooth and stress-free for the client.
in the interest of fairness, I must acknowledge that I ultimately did receive the compensation, and for that I am grateful. However, it took quite a long journey to reach that point.
My suggestion to Skycop would be to improve communication with customers and avoid creating situations that might cause people to doubt the company. Clear and timely updates would make a significant difference.
For customers who are currently working with Skycop, my advice is to stay persistent and follow your case closely. Make sure to request regular updates. Their response time can be very slow, but in the end it appears that they do pay the compensation.
Patience and persistence are essential for customers going through this process.

This company feels like a scam. It takes forever compared to other company that we claimed our money with. They respond so slowly or not at all for WEEKS. I tried different emails different WhatsApp numbers and nothing or automated messages. Its been months. They already received the money from the airline and they are not sending any t to us.
I recommend their competitor AIRHelp as they helped us straight away and we didn’t have any problems.

I am very disappointed with SkyCop's lack of transparency regarding my claim #df8bae68 (Jetstar Asia flight from 2022). The last update I received was a generic email in March 2025 stating that 'legal procedures are taking place'.
It has been a full year since that update and 4 years since the flight. I have no information on whether a lawsuit has actually been filed or if they are just waiting for the statute of limitations to expire. I demand a specific update with a case number, not another automated template. Please stop ignoring long-term clients.

Skycop have not updated my claim since June 2025. A claim I made in july 2024 which indicates to me that although the airline has paid skycop, skycop have not passed the payment on. I am a regular flyer who wont be using this company again, feels like a scam!

It's been 1 year and no pay out. I've sent emails several times and never gat a response. It certainly seems like a fraud. They have posted on my account that the airline agreed to pay several months ago. Still no payout and no answer to my emails.I do not reccomend them at all. I wish there was legal recourse.

Our flight delay compensation claim through Skycop which was in September 2025, turned into a highly frustrating and stressful experience that lasted more than five months.
Throughout this period, I had to send numerous follow-up emails just to receive updates on the status of the claim. On several occasions, Skycop confirmed that the compensation payment had already been approved back in November 2025 and assured me that the transfer would be processed shortly.
Only after I posted a review on Trustpilot , I did receive a response and part payment was made. This is now my second review because the issue remains unresolved and the way the case has been handled has required an unreasonable amount of time and effort to pursue.
Skycop explicitly confirmed also that I would receive full reimbursement without further deductions as a resolution for the delays, broken commitments, and the handling of my case. I subsequently received a couple of emails confirming that the agreed payment was on its way.
However, after waiting another month, I received another message stating that a “mistake” had been made and that no additional compensation would be paid after all. Since that message, none of my further emails have been acknowledged.
This means that written commitments were made and later reversed without any proper explanation or resolution. For a big company handling customer compensation claims, this level of communication and reliability is extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Skycop. The process has been unnecessarily prolonged, stressful, and poorly managed. Customers should not have to spend months chasing updates or rely on public reviews simply to receive a response.
I will not be using their services again and certainly will not recommend them.

Company withheld funds for 20 months before I received them.
I know this because I contacted the airline and was told they settled.
