Skyline - Never use again
Pre-booked taxi for Heathrow Airport T5 for 09.40am, driver rocked up at 10
00am after I called chasing where they are, tracker had him parked up for last 30 mins. After 2 chaser calls was told on his way. Journey to Heathrow uneventful apart from few occasions on M25 driver thought he was a boy racer. Return pre-booked taxi for 20 July 2024 home have had no pre-alert notification car would be waiting on my arrival. Prior to my departure sent several WhatsApp messages, all read no reply saying if have car or not.
On arrival into Heathrow called taxi operator, abruptly told me car will be there. Driver called me saying waiting, didn't sound very Customer Service friendly, just "I'm here to pick you up, I'm waiting" My office have corporate account with taxi company. You can guess my feedback to my procurement team. Not sure would use them for a supermarket run. Never use again
They Do What They Want!
Booked a cab from Stamford, Lincs to Stansted airport. Pick up 06.45. We arrived at Luton airport at 08.30. I'd did ask the driver about this error. He became argumentative. We got to Stansted around 09.40. Just over an hour later at check in, Ib as told I was too late. I then booked and paid for a flight to Verona. In all I got to my destination Venice at 22.50. My flight to Verona was late taking off. This lead me to getting a taxi to Venice over 100 km away.
I paid my Skyline driver at the onset of our journey. When I booked my trip with him he told me the price.Its £ 120.00. I'll charge you £ 105. The drop off feels is an additional
£ 5. 00. In total at the beginning I gave him an envelope with £ 130.00. That is a £ 20.00 tip for awful service. This individual caused a domino effect, which caused me to get very late in arriving to Venice, my destination. Additionally such sub standard service caused me much more financially.
As a H.M. Forces veteran I'm very upset. I've been using Skyline and their previous firm for nearly 15 yrs.
Never was an apology or explanation offered to me. Nor was a refund offered to me.
This occured 20.06.24.
Being a veteran I am well linked to all sorts of folk. As such I would never recommend anyone to use this company.
Parking over the whole pavement
9 July afternoon 3:15 pm right outside the school a Skyline Taxi took over the whole of the pavement, did not the driver once think how women would push their buggies across or how elderly would be to walk, how do these drivers get licenses 👎🏼 the Taxi number was AK17 VDZ I do have a picture of this event.

Used the online booking system and paid via Apple Pay but driver called and told me he was to far away and the taxi was cancelled when I rang to see what they was going to do as they have taken My money and now I have no taxi the lady was rude didn’t offer any help and hung up to phone will not be using this service again.

The driver put my life in danger after I requested to take a different route (my usual route) because the route he intended to take was longer. He became visibly annoyed that I, a woman, was providing directions. When I pointed out that his attitude was unacceptable, he told me to “shut my mouth,” stopped in the middle of a busy road, and threatened to eject me if I continued to speak. His aggression made me fear he might physically harm me. I begged him to drop me off at the nearest safe location. When I left, he still charged my card. I was shaken and distressed by the incident. A simple request for an alternative route turned into aggression and verbal abuse; I believe this would not have happened if I were a man. It seems he comes from a background where women are not allowed to speak up.
I have lodged a complaint and will be reporting him to Milton Keynes Council after obtaining a police report number. This behaviour was completely unjustified, and the level of anger over something so minor was terrifying. If you value your safety, especially as a woman, I urge you not to use this company; they do not seem to vet their drivers properly.
There is no genuine customer service in Skyline; they do not value their customers. After a decade and a half of using their services, I will never use them again.
Terrible service, customer left in dark
Prebooked taxi day before for 05:45, however, no driver turned up even though I received a dispatch text, the operator then lied and said no driver had been assigned to the job. I had to chase for a taxi driver to pick me up eventually at 06:02 so I would not be late for a trian.
Then the new driver, who did his best, complained about not having the correct chage for a £20 and that I was making his life hard as a result.
Overall, terrible service experienced throughout. I would have missed my train if, I the customer, did not chase up the taxi company for a new driver.
I will try another service in future.
Completely unreliable
For eight years, Skyline Taxis (now speedline) were my go-to for reliable transportation. Sadly, that reliability seems to have vanished over the last couple of years. My recent experiences have been a series of disappointments.
The most frustrating aspect is the lack of verification during pickups. Drivers simply haven't been confirming passenger names, leading to them picking up the wrong person. This not only delays my journey leaving me to wait yet again for another taxi but raises concerns about passenger safety.
To add insult to injury, some drivers have loud phone conversations throughout the ride, making for an unpleasant and an unprofessional experience. Additionally, requesting a specific route has sometimes resulted in pushback from drivers.
Cash transactions have become another point of contention. On a couple of occasions, drivers haven't had enough change and expected me to cover the shortfall. This adds financial stress to an already frustrating situation.
Perhaps most concerning is the tactic of taking unnecessarily long routes. I've even had a driver try to justify a detour with a flippant "What's the big deal its only a pound more" This raises serious doubts about Speedline's commitment to fair pricing and customer satisfaction.
As a young woman, these experiences leave me feeling unsafe. The unprofessional behavior and disregard for basic passenger needs have eroded my trust in Skyline. Sadly, I can no longer recommend their services which is a shame because their are a couple (and I literally mean a couple) of decent drivers which are let down by the rest.
Birmingham airport pick up at 3am
Birmingham airport pick up at 3am. Our flight was delayed then the bus was 20 mins late to unload us from the plane.
Our driver Faisal called a few times to check we were enroute and when we met him we were about 45 minutes late but he stayed patient and helpful.
Faisal was extremely pleasant despite the very early hour and the rain!
I would highly recommend Skyline if Faisal is anything to go by

I will never book Skyline taxis again! 1 week ago I booked and prepaid for a taxi from Milton Keynes hotel to the train station today and it still hadn't arrived 15 mins after it was supposed to arrive. Several calls later, speaking to different people none of whom knew what happened another taxi was sent which arrived 30 mins after the planned time. Unfortunately I missed the train to London which was planned to arrive in time for me to get the Eurostar from Euston. When I asked to speak to the manager I was put on hold twice for so long I gave up waiting. They then assured me the manager would call me back in 2 mins which he still hasn't. Simply the most frustrating experience I have had ever with a taxi company.
Dont turn up and then charge you for the privilege !
Yep same as most of the other reviews. I booked a taxi that said it was 4 mins away. 12 mins later it said it had not moved so cancelled it and booked another service. Skyline then charged £3.75 for cancelling a taxi that did not turn up.
Very incompetent
Several times I book a taxi, the app would say my taxi is 2mins away, but I'll end up waiting for 10mins for the cab to arrive. Don't know if it's the incompetency of the app or the drivers.

I booked a taxi for 19:20 on and the taxi arrived at 19:10 before the time. He canceled the booking. Charged 3.70 and told the company I didn't show up.
I booked the taxi for 19:20. Not 19:10. You can't arrive early and charge customers and say it's a " no show ". I used to spend 400£ a month on their service. But never again. I'll now start using a different company.

Careless driving. *Traumatic*
0 stars if I could! This was my first time using skyline taxis & definitely my last! The driver arrived at the spot where he was supposed to pick me up, I approached the car door to open it and the driver carelessly drove speedily past me taking my arm with it. The pain was excruciating & the driver did not once apologise or ask if I was alright. He then proceeded to take me to 2 different locations which was not the right destination. This caused me to pay more for the journey and the taxi driver did not have a care in the world. Not a single apology, not a single ounce of sympathy or the courtesy to ask and resolve the situation. He then got angry that he could not drive to where I wanted him to even though he was using a satnav to help him find where I live. By the end of the 2nd destination, I stated that I would just walk home from where I was. So I basically paid him just for me to walk more than half way home. The whole experience was so traumatising for me I have never been through anything like this with other taxi companies. I’m absolutely upset and disappointed with this company and I would like something done about this. I have the taxi drivers name and license plate.
Scam pricing
I booked a taxi from Kettering Train Station to Moulton (Saturday 30th March) using the Skyline app. There was no car available immediately but I was happy to wait the quoted 10-15 minutes and was picked up around 23:05. The app quoted roughly £22-25 for the journey. I now see that my bank account has been charged £51 for the journey - how can the price be over double?

Very convenient service and good price
Had a transfer from Bedford to Luton, booked through a phone call, very easy to do and arrived in line with what was advised on the phone. Journey very smooth and quick, and affordable price, would highly recommend

Driver 3014 Ricky demonstrated professionalism and dedication by offering the service that we all expect as customers. When travelling with a small baby, it’s very important as a parent to feel that we both are safe, in a clean and very good maintained car and also accompanied by good manners and polite attitude that the above mentioned driver certainly has.
Whenever I will need a taxi service again, he will definitely be my first request.

Fraudulent company - had to report to my bank to get a refund. If you call to ask they leave you on hold for 10 minutes then hang up repeatedly.
