DO NOT USE

Booked an early morning airport transfer 2 weeks in advance of our flight. Had email confirmation. Phoned the day before to confirm everything was in order. Phoned again when the taxi didn’t show up. Was told it was minutes away, which was a lie. I then got a WhatsApp tracking message. The taxi was only dispatched after I chased. And was 35 minutes away from us. We wouldn’t have made our flight if we waited for them to show up. Ended up having to drive, pay premium short stay parking and were late for our flight. DO NOT trust this company if you want honesty and reliability.

Id give them a zero stars if that was an option...rip off taxi company still owe my 8 quid for a journey I didn't make ..rang them told them still waiting either don't use or pay cash..Never give this company bank details rip you right off ... dodgy use another taxi company if you can

Incompetent

I recently had a very frustrating experience with Skyline in Wellingborough. I called to book a taxi and was sent a payment link, which I paid straight away. Within just 4 minutes, I received a call saying the taxi was outside. I went out immediately, but there was no taxi there.
When I called Skyline back, they told me the driver had waited 6 minutes, didn’t see me, and then left. However, at no point did I receive any notification or link to say the driver was 10 or even 5 minutes away—just a sudden call saying the taxi had arrived.
This lack of communication is completely unacceptable. It gives you no chance to be ready, especially when you’re relying on accurate updates.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with Skyline. The service is unreliable, and experiences like this show a clear lack of organisation and professionalism. I find them incompetent and won’t be booking with them again.

Double charge you then block your account for fraud

I have used skyline for 10 years now to get to and from work. The app was not working a few weeks ago and ended up charging me twice as ‘Apple Pay isn’t working’ but yet still took payment. I have just tried to book with skyline to be told that my account is fraudulent as I requested a refund from my bank and for them to investigate. Skyline are now saying I owe £46?? Appalling company.

Ruined my evening out

Reserved a slot for a taxi on the app an hour and half before I required it. To then get a call a literally few mins before it was due to be advised no drivers available. Even though the customer service lady apologised I got the impression she really wasn’t bothered about letting people down. Absolutely appalling service to be let down so last minute which then made me very late as I had to find an alternative way of getting there. What an awful thing to do to someone so last minute.

Insensitive remarks from driver

I’m writing regarding a recent ride where my toddler accidentally left a shoe mark on the seat. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice it immediately, but I apologized twice as soon as I became aware.

The driver later left a remark stating he would cancel next time. I found this comment insensitive and unnecessary, particularly as I was travelling with two young children and rushing to meet a school commitment.

While I understand the importance of keeping vehicles clean, I believe the situation was handled without empathy

Missed train…thanks!!

Booked a taxi to go to the hospital for…

Booked a taxi to go to the hospital for 830 am day before 835 I rang them they said soon about 7 minutes rang again in ten minutes they said any five minutes five minutes later driver rang going to be about 8 minutes I told him what for and said I’m now late for my hospital appointment then the taxi office rang me to say they will have to send another driver because I shouted at the very late driver I just cancelled the taxi will never attempt to use them again

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Ordered two taxis as there was 8 of us, taxis running behind. 1 taxi turned up. The other taxi was on route and couldn’t t find us. 2 adults and 2 children standing out in the cold. Shared the location with the driver, called and spoke with the driver and he couldnt find us when the other taxi could. It’s the main taxi rank for the bowl. Taxi driver said he would then come and then I got a message through saying he had cancelled the trip. Luckily a black cab came along soon after and picked us up.

DO NOT USE !!

DO NOT USE !!! Driver was abusive to my lone female partner ,and actually shouted at her in the street ,because he pulled outside the wrong address ,and rang her saying 'where are you ?' ,she told him not a problem I'll walk to you ,only a 100 yards max ,and because he had to wait approx 1 minute ,he thought it was appropriate to get out his taxi and started shouting ,which was very upsetting ,and borderline criminal ,a man abusing a lone female ,tried to complain to skyline ,and there lack of interest just proves what sort of company they are

We prebook taxi for school run They…

We prebook taxi for school run They never turn up on time. Some of the taxis smell of stale fag smoke. The drivers lie and say they turned up and we want waiting .. Then today when the taxi turned up 45 minutes late he tells me they don’t really want school runs at 6 pounds they only want big fares like airports. Good luck if you want a taxi from skyline

Unreliable poor service

Twice now this taxi firm have let me down. Pre booked 3 days ago for a taxi to take me to the train station. 5 minutes to go and they still hadn’t found a driver. Yeah they’re cheaper but they’re Unreliable. Avoid

Avoid at all costs…

I would highly recommend avoiding this Taxi company, on numerous occasions they have accepted bookings and they’re not been able to fulfil it, leaving me stranded on the last occasion. I had a very important meeting to get to after a family bereavement which because of their lack of transparency and ability to deal with issues I ended up missing and had to reschedule after them being over 45 minutes late

Hypocrisy and double standards - DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE. Can see there are many 1 star and 2 star reviews, and I can empathise with all of them. This company loves to charge their customers an additional 'waiting fee' after just 3 minutes of waiting, but when their own drivers (on numerous occasions) turn up over 15 minutes late, then it's 'not part of their policy to provide refunds'. When a customer has no idea of whether their driver will be on time or 15 minutes late, who can blame them for not being ready on the dot, standing and waiting in the cold? Hypocrisy and double standards.
